Authors note: Really sorry about how long its been! A lot has happened and I haven't really thought about or had time for writing recently. Hopefully this extra long chapter makes up for it :D

"So I was going to ask you where the hell you disappeared to last night... Buuuut, after the pancakes and the nakedness and the Valkyrie..." The dark haired girl started to ramble to herself while simultaneously pulling horrified faces as she spoke. The two women sat together on their old yet oddly homely sofa discussing the previous nights events.

"Kenz please stop." Bo half laughed the words as Kenzi continued to act out the night in her own unique way. Kenzi stopped kissing her hand and slumped her arms down on her best friends lap.

"Seriously BoBo, what's going on? I thought she hated you. Yanoe the whole "I'm the new Valkyrie on the block and I'm going to throw you in jail." Kenzi hunched her shoulders and deepened her voice. "Bo thanks for all your hard work with solving cases for me but I still don't like you and I'm still going to arrest you. Blah blah blahhh."

"First of all Kenzi, since when does Tamsin stand like a football player? Ans second... the voice?"

"It fit the mood of the story." Kenzi shrugged.

"I don't know what's happening. I know I should stay away, especially now that she has run out on me but there's something about her. I just can't help myself." Bo wandered off into her thoughts looking for the obviously deep conclusion for her attraction to the Valkyrie.

"Blonde" Kenzi announced.

"What?" Bo snapped back to see Kenzi studying her nails.

"Oh nothing, so why did she leave anyway? Like seriously."

Before Bo could open her mouth to answer, Dyson and Tamsin strolled through the door. "Who left?" Dyson asked genuinely intrigued.

"Oh T..." Bo kicked Kenzi before she could get the full name out.

"Lauren... She came by to collect the rest of her things. She left in a bit of a hurry and I'm a bit cut up about it. Thanks for knocking and interrupting." Bo forced a smile at the wolf.

"Hey Tammers! I was going to ask how you were, long time and all that, but Bo's foot seemed to slide into mine at some impressive speed. Funny that isn't it..."

Tamsin rolled her eyes and walked towards the exit of the shack.

"Kenzi stop talking." Bo placed a road block in font of the Russian girl before she had a chance to put her sore foot in her mouth. "What do you want Dyson?" Bo pushed the words towards the detective with a small amount of venom behind them.

"We need you to come down the station."

"Why?" Bo became confused. The two detectives were being unnaturally off and strict with her. Maybe Tamsin had a reason but Dyson was supposed to be trying to get on Bo's good side again for throwing her to the curb.

"Come on Succubus, get up and go, we don't have all day. Some of us solve real crimes and have real jobs." Tamsin avoided eye contact with everyone in the room, afraid she might give her alibi away.

"Ok, lets go then." Bo removed herself from the sofa and headed for the door, followed by a skipping Kenzi.

The foursome made it to the station and Bo was escorted into the usual interrogation room. Kenzi caused a fuss when she was denied access to the room. Bo threw herself onto the closes chair and folded her arms. "What's this all about?" The Brunette directed the question at Dyson not wanting to give away her hurt towards Tamsin.

"Bo where were you last night at 11 o'clock?" Straight to business Bo thought. Dyson was being serious. Something had happened and he was pinning the blame on her.

"I went to a dark fae bar, the one down town, looks a bit divey and a little bit run down but the company was good and Kenz was sure we would have a great time." Bo trailed off thinking about her night with Tamsin.

"Bo why were you in a dark bar? Doesn't seem like the best alibi" Dyson brushed the story aside and waited for the Succubus' answer.

"Well I saw this sign on the door, it had a picture of a dog and then a hug red line through it. Then underneath it in big black letters were... "NO DOGS ALLOWED." Yanoe what I thought. I thought this seems like my kind of place! And in we went. The rest is mostly history." Bo leant back in her chair and shot a smug look in Dyson's direction. It didn't take the wolf long to realise that Tamsin was at the same bar at around the same hour.

"Tamsin, you were there too weren't you. The dark bar where they wouldn't let me through the door."

"No dogs allowed douche bag!" Kenzi shouted through the small key hole. Bo laughed at the small girls inability to not be nosey and laughed more at the fact that she didn't hide her eavesdropping. Tamsin ignored the remark and repeated her earlier statement. "Look Dyson, I told you I wasn't there for long. I wasn't looking for anyone, I was booze hunting. I found it in a store room and I left." The Blonde noticed Bo bite her bottom lip. Goosebumps covered her arms and a pleasurable tingle ran down her spine and stopped between her legs. Dyson seemed satisfied with her answer and didn't press any further.

Hale pushed the interrogation room door open. Sounding slightly out of breath he called his old partner over to help deal with an unruly suspect. The two men left, the door swung shut and the silence become uncomfortable. "Can we talk?" Bo broke the silence and moved towards the Valkyrie who was concentrating on the floor in front of her feet. "Tamsin?"

"Talk about what? It was a mistake. Come on now, your a Succubus. How many one night stands have you had? Just add a tally to the chart and get over it"

"You know this is different. I wasn't the only one who felt it. So you freaked out. That's fine, I mean it was a little confusing but I can deal with that." Bo stood from where she was sat and took a few steps towards the other woman. Tamsin saw the moment and replicated the steps. Only she grabbed Bo's collar and pulled their faces together. Bo closed her eyes anticipating a kiss but nothing came."Listen Succubus. It was a one off. Count yourself lucky that your still alive to think about last night. It wont happen again. Am I clear?" A howl came from outside the door and the two women turned to see Kenzi looking through the key hole. "Wolf approaching" She whispered. Tamsin threw Bo back into the chair and proceeded to fold her arms back to where they had been when Dyson left the room.

"Ok Bo, you can go. We can't hold you any longer until Lauren has taken a closer look at the body." Dyson waved his thoughts away and turned to leave again.

"Body? What body?" Bo wasn't sure if Dyson had been talking to her. There had been no mention of a body before this point.

"We found a body this morning. Succubus kill. You, hot pants are our prime suspect." Tamsin smiled at Bo. It was the same smile she had the first time they met and the first time she had tried to put her in prison.

"You think I killed someone? You have got to be shitting me! Dyson I was at a bar last night. I have an alibi that Kenzi will back up."

"Yes you were at a dark bar. That's just not you and it's not very convincing Bo. If there's noone else who can back you up and Lauren confirms the cause of death, I'll have no choice but to bring you back in. I'm not discussing this any further. Go home." With that the wolf left and never returned. Kenzi walked into the room. Held her best friends hand and took her back to the shack, being sure to give Tamsin evil stares as she left.

Tamsin drove to her hill, jumped out of the truck and sat on the bonnet. She hoped Bo had gone home and wouldn't show up here again. She thought about how the silence of the night could comfort her, it allowed her to feel free and warm, but it also hit her that it can remind you of how lonely you are.

Tamsin wasn't sure how she had got to this point. She only knew that somehow she had ended up alone. Normally she wouldn't have minded this but being alone meant her thoughts had been left to swirl around in her head like smoke in a jar. She felt so empty and yet somehow too full. A thick haze covered a mesmerising sunset like dust covers its treasures.

Lost in the eternal glow of the fading sunlight Tamsin hadn't noticed the clouds that had begun to roll over. An aeroplane burst through them triumphantly, spreading the light cloud across the sky like a gentle breeze blowing sand across a beach. She needed to see Bo. Could Bo be the one who could fill the empty void that Tamsin had come to know. She had to find out. The Valkyrie composed herself and prepared her feelings for a display. Closing the darkness outside she held the steering wheel of her truck, took a deep breath and made her way to the shack.

Back at the shack Bo and Kenzi had cracked out the beer and popcorn and were currently half way through "Pretty woman."

"Damn I know she's a prostitute and everything but her boots are SLAMMING" Kenzi kicked her heels against the floor to emphasise her point. Bo took a swig from her bottle and a mouthful of popcorn. "Love like that doesn't exist, after one night with someone who has had as many one night stands as that woman... He would just throw her out. Like all the rest."

"Aww Bo Bo, don't listen to the bitchy Blonde. She's probably just sour that you were better in bed than she was." The Russian girl winked and placed a single piece of popcorn on her tongue. Bo grabbed the empty bottles on the table and headed over to the kitchen to get two more. As she turned to ask Kenzi where the strong stuff was she came face to face with Tamsin who held onto the Brunette's face a kissed her lips. As the pair separated Bo opened her mouth the speak but Tamsin held up a finger to silence her.

"Bo please just let me get this out. If I don't do it know I never will." She took a deep breath and closed her eyes. Kenzi muted the DVD and turned to watch the pair, slowly putting popcorn into her mouth and reaching for a beer that wasn't there.

"Ok, where do I start. Ever since I can remember, there has been a black hole that filled a part of me. A void that I have tried to fill with fights, alcohol, sex, drugs, sarcasm, the list goes on. Nothing and I mean nothing has filled it. Don't get me wrong here but when your around I forget about it. Time stops when your around, or at least time doesn't matter when I'm with you. You feel warm, your touch sends shivers up my spine. Your all I think about when I'm alone. Even when I'm not thinking. Your there. Your always there in the back of my mind. You have this hold on me Bo and it scares the shit out of me. As much as I fight it and push you away, as much as I try to hate you, part of me wants you. A big part of me wants you. Back at the station all I wanted to do was throw you on the table and show you that I care about you. I wanted to touch you soft skin and kiss you neck. I wanted to breathe the air you were breathing and feel close to you. I don't know if you will fill the void but my god I want to find out."

The Blonde stopped for a breath and looked up to find the sweetest smile staring back at her. Kenzi had stopped mid mouthful of food to wipe away a tear that had rolled down her nose. Bo leant in a kissed the Valkyrie. She pulled her in for a tight hug and saw Kenzi talking to the DVD.

"See that's a love story. Not some crap about a prostitute who finds love with a rich man. That doesn't happen!" Kenzi looked up to see Bo looking at her. It was her, go to your room and lock the door look. "Ok, ok, I'll leave you guys alone." She walked out of the room still talking about how love does exist and one day everyone's void will be filled.

Bo picked Tamsin up and put her down on the counter. She began to work her way down the Blonde's body when she felt a vibrating under her hand. Her eyes burned blue and she smirked at Tamsin.

"It's my phone! And I've got to answer it, it's a work thing." Tamsin took the device out of her pocket to see Dyson calling. She answered and tried to stay focused as the Succubus continued to kiss her thighs and run her hands over her chest.

"Ok I'll be there as soon as I can"

"Wait, what? Really? Your just going to leave? Again." Tamsin placed her hands on Bo's cheeks.

"Believe me when I say I really don't want to. But I have to. Some kind of emergency at the Dal. I'll call you later and I promise I'll make this up to you." After a quick wink Tamsin jumped off the counter and left the shack, leaving Bo questioning everything she had heard.
