Chapter 4- Too close
It was storming terribly hard tonight in middle of winter and Kaytlin was actually
worried for Jeff.
What if he got caught in the rain?
What if he gets sick?
Or worse?
He found himself constantly looking out the window and watching the news.
Every worse case scenario was making the ruby eyed male dizzy, to the point where he gave
up and collapsed in bed.
The only sounds were the rain, wind and the occasional thunder booming.
The sound of the rain was lulling him to sleep until police sirens blasted everywhere and
the blue and red lights could be seen casting shadows around his room.
There was a knock at the door downstairs and Kaytlin rushed to pull on some clothes and
run down the old wooden steps.
Upon opening the door, three men dressed in uniforms were standing there.
"I-Is something wrong officers?"
Kaytlin panicked, thinking they saw Jeff the other morning or that these guys knew about
his true identity.
He was soon snapped out of his thoughts as one of the men spoke.
"Sorry to disturb you so late at night in this weather, but we're looking for the
infamous Jeff the killer. He was last seen in this neighborhood."
The man spoke urgently, but Kaytlin slowly shook his head.
"I'm sorry, but I haven't seen anything."
The officers nodded and soon after, said their goodbyes.
They must have been cold as the storm was still as bad as it was earlier.
Sighing, Kaytlin went back upstairs and was just about to get into bed when the back door
could be heard opening.
Swallowing the fear that was trying to escape, Kaytlin stood still as footsteps got
louder towards his bedroom.
The door creaked open, revealing a drenched Jeff the killer.
Kaytlin let out a breath he had been holding and lightly punched him on the shoulder.
"Don't scare me like that! Damn it!"
Kaytlin yelled, obviously startled.
Jeff ignored him and hugged the frustrated male.
Kaytlin gasped at the coldness.
"Shit you're freezing!"
Kaytlin wrapped his arms around his shivering form and slowly walked to the bathroom.
"Here, take a shower and I'll get you some dry clothes."
Kaytlin rushed out of the room while Jeff stripped and stepped under the warm water.
He heard the door open slightly when Kaytlin brought new clothes and took his wet ones to
the drier.
Jeff relished the hot water running down his pale white skin and decided to wash his hair
while in there.
Once done, he stepped out and found a towel to dry off.
Looking over the clothes Kaytlin had gotten him, he noticed that they were similar to his.
Black skinny jeans and a dark gray hoodie.
Changing into the clothes, he walked back over to Kaytlin's room and made himself comfy
on the bed, waiting for the other male.
The bed was extremely comfortable to Jeff and he ended up falling asleep.
Kaytlin went to check on him in the bathroom, but it was empty.
Upon opening his bedroom door, he couldn't help but laugh silently at the mass on his bed.
Jeff had curled up almost cat like into the blankets and was sound asleep.
(I'm giving him fake eyelids that EJ helped with)
Kaytlin had to admit, he was pretty cute.
Wait, what?
He couldn't think straight and just decided to crawl into bed next to the other.
As he drifted off to sleep, Jeff scooted closer until Kaytlin put his arm around the
other's side.
They were as close as possible, but were they too close?
