"Holy jeez!" I shrieked as my eyes were opened to this incredible new world my family had been forced to keep secret for years.
"That's what I said too." Matthew admitted. "Everything's pretty amazing."
As I surveyed my surroundings I noticed several children with owl cages, a few wizards and witches levitating trunks around, and one child with brown and purple hair who seemed to be… turning into a pig.
"Uuhh Matthew? Is that girl a pig?" I whispered worriedly.
"Hmmm," he replied from the looks of it she's a metamorphmagus. She can change her looks with will and will improve as she gets older. We learned about it in transfiguration."
"Sweet." I replied, hoping I hadn't seemed rude. I had read a bit into transfiguration and it seemed really interesting. Being a metamorphmagus seemed cool but I questioned her reason for choosing a pig nose. Oh well, to each her own I suppose.
"Well, time to board!" he said excitedly.
"Ookay" I consented worriedly.
"You'll be fine, and if anyone bullies you, you tell me okay? They may bully you a bit about being a muggle born, but most people have moved on since the second wizarding war on Voldemort. It's been a long time. You'll learn about it in history. It's really the most interesting thing to learn in that particular subject." Matthew stated, embracing his brotherly side for a little.
"I'm sure I'll be fine, but thanks for the offer." I replied bashfully.
"Anytime, would you like me to take your trunk for you ma'am?" he asked adapting a fake "proper English voice".
"Why of course sir!" I replied passing him my trunk. He tipped an invisible hat to me and hopped onto the large old looking train. I quickly hopped in after him and surveyed my surroundings. There seemed to be many wood compartments with sliding doors.
"Do you, uh, do you want to sit with me?" Matthew said, obviously hoping I would say no.
"No I'll be fine on my own." I said deciding not to force my presence on him. I discovered an empty compartment, he put my trunk inside, and bade him farewell.
"See you after the sorting!" he cheerily said.
"alright." I replied, nervous again. He waved cheerily and left me to fend for myself in my new world.
