Ah! Well, I'm kind of back.

It's another intro chapter. It'll get better I swear!

Lenka woke up to the sound of humming and a boiling kettle. She turned to the side and realized...

"Wha-?! 10:30?!" Lenka squealed.

Ophelia peeked into Lenka's room, wearing a tank top, glasses, and fuzzy pants. "Did you need something, Lenka-chan?"

"We're late!" Lenka squeaked, jumping out of bed and rushing to the bathroom.

"Relax, Lenka-chan! I was up early and received the recording schedule. You looked tired so I let you sleep in," Ophelia said calmly, giving a small yawn.

"Recording schedule?" Lenka asked, tilting her head to one side.

"Well, we ARE at Crypton Future Media's Academy of the Arts, Lenka-chan~" Ophelia smiled."We all have our turns to record whatever we want, and we get to skip out on class to do it... You can sleep a little more if you want," Ophelia added. "I'm making some tea that will help with our throats."

"Okay," Lenka said, smiling. "How did you sleep?"

"Well, I woke up in the middle of the night because I was wearing regular clothes..."

"I told him!" Lenka muttered. Ophelia gave a confused look. "Erm, please continue."

"Well, I changed, and I fell asleep again. I'm so tired," Ophelia said, yawning again.

"Maybe you should be the one sleeping," Lenka said, getting up and gently pushing Ophelia towards one of the parlor couches.

"But what about the tea -?"

"I'll take care of it," Lenka said, smiling.

"Okay," Ophelia yawned and curled up on the couch, fast asleep in seconds.

Lenka watched over the kettle.

"How am I supposed to sing today... The doctors said to wait a couple days... Agh, what am I going to do? Should I just tell her that I can't sing? No, I can't. What if she asks me to sing? What if other people are there? What if they are there, and I can't find an excuse not to sing? What if I have to sing? What if everyone finds out... Finds out that I'm..."

Lenka didn't even realize that she had started to cry.

Suddenly, Lenka heard a phone ringing. Ophelia had left her phone on the coffee table. Lenka picked it up, just in case it was important.

"Moshi moshi?" she spoke into the phone, sniffling a little bit.

A familiar voice answered.

"Lia-chan?"

"Um, no. This is Lenka. Did you need something, Rinto-senpai?"

There was a pause of silence.

"Rinto-senpai? I like that," Rinto said. Lenka could hear the smirk in his voice.

"Shut up," Lenka said, still sniffling a little.

"I see you haven't forgiven me after yesterday? Gomen. If it bothers you so much, then don't look too much into it," Rinto sighed. "I wonder if you act like girls would act towards me if I weren't famous..."

"Oh-erm, gomen... I'm having a rough morning," Lenka apologized.

Another pause.

"Don't worry about it. I'd much rather you be blunt with me than be a screaming fangirl."

Lenka gave a nervous laugh. Ophelia turned suddenly, facing Lenka now. She was still asleep. That snapped Lenka back to reality.

"So, did you need anything, Rinto-senpai?"

"Oh, yes! Tell Lia that I found English lyrics for Mirishira Romeo and Cinderella!"

"So she can record today?" Lenka asked.

"Yeah. Ne, Lenka-chan?"

He called me Lenka-chan...

"H-hai?" Lenka answered, regretting the stammer in her voice.

"Are you recording today?"

Eep. That was it. She didn't know how she was going to get away with it... She could just say yes... But then he'd ask what she was recording, and even if she came up with a sufficient lie, he'd eventually find it out... If she said no, he'd ask why... Maybe he could help her!

"I-I can't believe I'm doing this..." Lenka sighed, sniffling.

"Doing what?"

"Telling you about my problems."

There was a pause of dead silence.

"You need to rant or something?" Rinto asked, a little confused.

"Sort of," Lenka took a deep breath. "Ne~ Rinto-senpai?"

"Hmm?"

"I-if there's someway you could help me out..."

"Well, if you tell me, I'll see what I can do."

His attitude made her relax a little.

"I... can't record today."

There was silence over the telephone. Lenka hoped it meant he was listening.

"I never was allowed to record. I was never a good singer... everyone hated me... The doctors made me better, but...

They told me that I won't be able to sing for a couple days... I've tried to sing this morning, and I sound absolutely dreadful... If everyone found out..."

Lenka paused, trying not to cry. Honestly, there was no reason to cry!

Then why was she crying?

"...they'd hate me again."

There was dead silence.

"I won't ask what they did to you," Rinto said knowingly. "But I'll do what I can."

"I can't believe you're even considering helping me."

"You're the only friend Ophelia's ever had, besides me, Len, and Sylvester... Hush now, the master is thinking."

Dead silence, besides the tea kettle whistling, which Lenka quickly gets up and takes off.

"Ne~ Lenka-chan," Rinto called.

"Hmm?" Lenka answered.

"I'll supervise your recording session today."

"Whaaa?"

"I have pro status. I could supervise your recording session today."

"Arigato!" Lenka said, her eyes lighting up.

"Besides, I owe you for saving Lia."

He hung up.

"Lenka-chan?" Lenka heard Ophelia getting up. "Who are you talking to?"

"Whaaa? You're awake?" Lenka was slightly surprised.

"Just now. Who were you talking to, missy?"

"Erm, well, your brother dropped a call and said that he found English lyrics for Mirishira Romeo and Cinderella or something..." Lenka said, wondering what that was.

Ophelia jumped out of bed. "That's amazing!"

She ran to her room, sat at her desk, and checked her computer.

"How. Amazing. Is. JubyPhonic. Like seriously," Ophelia said excitedly, listening to Juby's dub of Mirishira Romeo and Cinderella.

"I've heard of Romeo and Cinderella before, but what's a Mirishira?" Lenka asked.

"Here," Ophelia said, shoving headphones onto Lenka's head.

(A/N: Check out JubyPhonic's cover of the Romeo and Cinderella and Mirishira mash up! So amazing!)

"Wow," Lenka sighed. "That's really sad."

"She made matching lyrics with both songs! It's all polyphonic and all..." Ophelia sighed. "I wish I could write lyrics as well as her."

Ophelia's eyes lit up, "Ne~ Lenka-chan?"

"Hmm?"

"Record Juby's take on Romeo and Cinderella! Maybe we can put them together!"

"O-oh... I-I'll try," Lenka said nervously.

"Ne, Lenka-chan... It's okay if you don't finish quickly. I know why you can't record as fast."

S-she does?

"O-oh... really?" Lenka said, her eyes widening.

Ophelia smiled and nodded.

"Yeah, it's because Japanese is your first language! English is hard," Ophelia sighed.

"O-oh, right!" Lenka said, smiling.

Ophelia sipped her tea. "I'm a little nervous..."

"Me too," Lenka sighed.

"You should be fine! I, on the other hand," Ophelia gave a dramatic pause, "have K-Kaito senpai supervising me."

"Kaito!? I heard he despises first years!"

"He does," Ophelia groaned. "But I am ready to do my very very VERY best! Ne, Lenka-chan? Who's supervising you?"

"Oh, I don't...know..." Lenka said, wondering if Ophelia knew she was lying.

"...Okay!" Ophelia said, taking a sip of her tea. "I'll print out the lyrics for you."

"A-arigato!" Lenka said, sipping the mixture. It burned her throat a little bit, but Lenka could feel its cleansing ability. Her throat felt so good... It was miracle tea!

"Oh! Lenka-chan, we need to pick your outfit!"

"Why?"

"With a wardrobe this big, who cares? Anyways, we don't have to wear uniforms on recording days."

Lenka had to admit, the many outfits made her feel better.

Ophelia looked through Lenka's wardrobe, squinting as she tried to imagine Lenka wearing them.

"Skinny jeans would look good on you," Ophelia commented, taking out a pair of dark blue skinny jeans. "It's pretty hot outside, but it can get really chilly in the studio."

"What about a sweater?" Lenka asked.

"That's perfect!" Ophelia said, pulling out a couple sweaters.

"Wait, what? This defeats the purpose of sweaters!" Lenka gasped, pulling out a tight sweater with a deep, wide neckline

(A/N: *sings* deep and wide! deep and wide! there's a fountain flowing deep and wide!)

That made Ophelia laugh.

"Yellow seems to be your color," Ophelia said. "It looks good on you. Oh!"

Ophelia gasped and grabbed a sweater from the wardrobe drawer.

It was a soft, pastel yellow, it was slightly baggy, the sleeves were long, meant to cover your fingers.

"It's perfect," Lenka said in awe. "This school is amazing."

"Put this under it," Ophelia said, handing her a white dress shirt with a stiff collar. It had short sleeves, so it wouldn't be too hot. "It'll make you look smexy~"

Lenka laughed. "What does smexy even mean?"

Ophelia gave a small, breathy giggle. "It means smart and sexy. Len-kun gets this comment all the time on all of his videos."

(A/N: If you are a true vocaloid fan, you've seen those "smexiness" comments before).

"Ne, Lenka-chan?"

"What is it?"

"I was thinking... since Len-kun wears contacts... Do you have glasses?" Ophelia asked.

"Actually, I do. But I'm wearing contacts right now-" Lenka started.

"Can I see them?" Ophelia asked excitedly.

"S-sure?" Lenka said, looking at Ophelia strangely and handing her the glasses. They were black, nerd looking glasses. Kind of trendy nowadays...

Ophelia looked at them with sparkling eyes.

"This is perfect!" she said. "Would you mind taking off your contacts? These would look absolutely amazing on you! They'd making your outfit smexier, too. Put some professional looking shiny black ballet flats, and you'd be all set!"

It made Ophelia so happy to see everything coming together.

Ophelia herself wore a short skirt, a light blue baggy sweater, and a dark blue scarf with a picture of Minun (the Pokemon) taking up the bottom of one of the ends. She kept her glasses on. So they could be matching, she said.

"Onii-chan would love this outfit!" she said, gesturing to Lenka.

"W-what?" How'd she find out that Rinto was supervising her?!

"I was just saying that he would like it," Ophelia said, looking confused.

Oh.

(A/N: The reason why Lenka doesn't want Ophelia to know is because she doesn't want Ophelia to make a huge deal of it. Ophelia MIGHT find out though. Kukuku~)

"N-ne, Lenka-chan... Do you think I'll be okay?" Ophelia said, talking about Kaito.

"He'd be heartless to be harsh on you," Lenka said. "I don't think there is one heartless person in this school."

"They may not be heartless, but there are some people in this school who aren't happy people. There are some people who want to hurt other people. It makes me sad..." Ophelia sighed. Then, with a bright voice,"I think my brother likes you. Or at least thinks you are different."

"E-eh?!" Lenka said, twitching. They had only met once...

"I think you remind him of someone. Or maybe he just likes you, as a person or otherwise. I don't know."

"H-hai," Lenka said, her face red, remembering when he had kissed her on the forehead. Lenka knew that he didn't mean for her to hear what he said before he left but... Did he really feel something?

Ophelia smiled, giggling. "Aw, you're blushing!"

"Nope! Just sunburnt!" Lenka said.

Ophelia laughed. "You'll be really sunburnt after singing this song."

"Why...?" Lenka said, looking down at the lyrics. "Oh."

(A/N: Romeo and Cinderella is so perverted lol)

"Why can't you sing this part?" Lenka whined jokingly.

"Because Onii-san would kill me," Ophelia said simply. "Let's head to the recording studio! Do you remember what floor ours is on?"

(The recording studios are in the basement levels. There are three levels, with about five recording session rooms a piece.)

"Erm, I think the B3," Lenka said, hopping into the elevator.

"I'm so nervous!" Ophelia said, getting jittery. "Do I look okay?"

Lenka laughed. "You look fine! Don't worry about it!"

Suddenly, the elevator stopped, letting in a couple other students heading down to the recording studio. The elevator was slow enough already!

"O-oh! O-o-ohayo, S-sander-kun!" Ophelia said to one of the boys who walked in.

The boy had pink, shaggy hair and bright blue eyes. If Lenka didn't know any better, she'd say that they were twins.

"Oh," the boy said. "Ohayo, Ophie-chan."

"Lenka-chan, this is one of the other people in Project Romeo," Ophelia said brightly, turning to the boy. "Sander-kun, this is Lenka. Lenka-chan, this is Lysander."

"Nice to meet you!" Lenka said.

The boy seemed very apathetic. "I guess you're okay."

Lenka was shocked. Ophelia shook her head in disapproval.

B1. Lysander left the elevator.

"Good luck!" she said.

The boy gave a glance back.

"Okay."

The elevator closed.

"He's nice, I swear!" Ophelia sighed.

"So you do have other friends?"

"I suppose he might be my friend."

"Then he's more than a friend?"

"No," Ophelia said, keeping her eyes on the elevator floor counter. "He doesn't need someone like me."

"Oh," Lenka said, at a loss for words.

B3.

"We are here!" Ophelia suddenly chirped, grabbing Lenka's hand and pulling her out.

"Good luck!" Ophelia said cheerily. "I know you'll do great!"

Ophelia opened the door all the way down the hall and peeked inside, then jumped.

"O-Ohayo, Shion-senpai!" Lenka heard Ophelia say before the door closed.

Lenka sighed and opened her studio door.

The next chapter is their recording session.

Please drop a review and tell me what you think of it, and what you might want to see in the future!

Risatan~ I'm glad you thought so! It was rather sudden, though, don't you think :P I don't think I'll put Rin in the story. It might feel kind of redundant, since I already promised someone else I'd put Len and Miku together. It would make sense though. I like talking to you; I look forward to another review ;)
