(No one's POV)

Sans was watching Undyne from behind a medium sized rock, and his murderous smile was back on his face. "Hey there fishy, fishy." He mused to himself in a low voice. He was quickly in a vacillated situation whether he should confront her upright or sneak his way to her. "Well I could always just-" He said normally before the rest of his sentence had been drowned in manic, childish giggles. He made a range of motions with his hands that mimicked several offing gestures, and as he did this the more he couldn't prevent himself from laughing. Soon, our little skeleton friend found himself forming and snapping bones to regain his control. "Breathe, just breathe and keep ahold of your objective." He told himself in between gentle puffs of air. Making up his mind on what to do with Undyne, Sans carefully got up from his rock and began to sneak around.

As Sans made his way closer and closer to Undyne, he began to go over his plan in his head. "Real simple, keep sneaking until I reach ol' fish lips, then I grab her attention and give 'er a great time." He sneered and dove into a large patch of echo flowers when Undyne turned her head. "Huh?! What was that!? Who's there?" He heard the captain growl as she generated her spear and surveyed the area. Sans held himself statue still, which wasn't hard sense he had no muscles to cramp. He listened closely to Undyne's footsteps as she got closer and closer to him. "No no no, shit shit damn it!" He harshly whispered as Undyne was getting too close for comfort. Then, Sans realized his mistake, his eyes widened as the flowers around him perked up with their soft glowing petals and his voice began to bounce around and Undyne looked straight in his direction. "Nghaa! SANS!" She screamed and stormed her way over to the patch.

Luckily, our golden toothed friend teleported to a different near-by patch just as Undyne reached the first set of echo flowers and began hacking away at it with her spear. "I KNOW YOU'RE HERE SANS! SHOW YOUR SORRY SELF SO I CAN KILL YOU!" She screamed so loud the place trembled in obedience. Sans then got an idea and his grin revealed his gold glistening tooth once again. 'That's right, she wants me dead. So why don't I give her what she wants.' He thought as he pulled out his phone and started typing away. "NGHHHHHA! I'LL GIVE YOU THE COUNT OF TEN TO FACE ME LIKE A REAL MONSTER SANS!" He listened to Undyne yell into the air. Sans smirked and finished typing. "Oh, I'll give you a monster alright." He said daringly and played a small audio file to the flowers surrounding him. The flowers around him perked up and began to repeat what they had heard. "Brother…I'm sorry, but I'm tired of your antics." The flowers perfectly copied Papyrus' voice and Undyne spun around. "HUH!?" She growled and our little skeleton friend teleported to another patch of flowers and played a different file.

Sans did this a number of times more until Undyne was rightfully frustrated and tired of her own repetition. "This is getting to be fruitless, did that little wimp hold up his end of the deal or not?" Undyne asked herself. However, Sans would give her a falsified answer for his own sick amusement. Tapping on his phone screen and dragging one thing to the next, Sans created a new file on his phone and gladly played it to the patch of flowers that had remained untouched by either of the two monsters. "Bro? Bro what're you- PAPYRUS?!" The flowers screamed with the false fear of their giver's voice. Then there was a blinding silence in the area that was followed by a quiet whoosh of the wind and all the echo flowers grew dim and limp once again. Undyne was huffing and puffing angrily at this point but she had a proud smirk on her face. "Heh, Well…. It looks like that baby, isn't such a loser after-all." She said as she let her spear fade to a mere wisp of light and began walking again. Sans, on the other hand, still had his original plan to carry out. With an evil chuckle barely escaping his teeth this time, Sans boldly snuck up behind the sea lady and tapped her shoulder.

He then made an even bolder move by punching Undyne in the face the moment she spun around to see him.

With a clear cut cry of pain, Undyne stumbled as she held her head with her hands. "Grah, what the hell?!" She screamed. She then took it in to herself to gaze up at who dared to pick a fight with her, once she felt her back press against a wall of bones. "Wha- Sans!?" She scowled as he smirked smugly back at her. He held up his arms and pointed to himself. "The one and bonely!" He joked and quickly stepped around her as he kicked off his sneakers and hid them away from her sight. Undyne growled and reached for him, but he dodged out of the way so quickly she only grasped the air. "Ah ah ah! Bad fishy!" He playfully scolded her as she stared him down. However, on the inside, Undyne was quite surprised and also a bit scared. 'What the hell? My hand passed through him! He's like a ghost now…' She thought as she started to move away and circle around. As if reading her thoughts, Sans re-made his plan and began to speak again. "Hello Undyne, you may have guessed by now but I'm dead." He said calmly.

Undyne flinched, but growled and spawned her spear again. "So, what now? You're going to haunt me for the rest of my life?" She snapped at him. The gold toothed skeleton smirked and shrugged lamely. "I guess I could do that, sure would be interesting." He replied. Undyne growled and lunged at Sans with her spear, he dodged again in a blur. "You'd better fucking not, you damn bastard!" She hissed at him. Sans laughed and smugly crossed his arms. "You know you're not gonna get me with that dinky little spear of yours." He mocked. Undyne got into a fighting stance. "Is that a challenge?!" She yelled and Sans continued on with his smug look. "So what if it is?" He retorted and Undyne gritted her teeth, her spear glowing even brighter. "Well then bring it on!" She yelled and lunged at Sans again.

The battle was quick, but it was far from short. For every slice and stab Undyne threw, Sans dodged and teleported faster than she could see. Undyne got more and more furious that she was unable to land a hit on the gold tooth skeleton. As she tried harder and moved faster, she eventually found herself getting increasingly tired. Undyne's movements began to lag and slow and Sans noticed. "Heh, getting sleepy little fishy?" He sneered and Undyne glared at him. "What's it to you fuck face?" She spat with acid behind her words. Sans chuckled with a sly expression. "Nothing much, just makes my job that much easier." He retorted. Undyne stretched herself out as she quietly gasped for air. "What the hell are you talking about?" She breathed. Sans sly expression turned into and evil one and with a snap of his fingers a group of bones flew at Undyne from all around. She barely dodged out of the way in time and held her side as one of the sharper ones had nicked her.

Undyne supported herself and stood to fight back, but Sans was now too fast for her. Another hoard of bones flew at Undyne and many more struck her as she tried to defend. Undyne struggled to hold herself straight as she started to bleed heavily. Her vision began to blur at the corners as she attempted to walk forwards. Sans shook his head and tripped her forcing her to land face first in the damp earth of Waterfall. "Ah ah ah." He teased her. Undyne coughed as she was winded from the fall. "Y-You asshole." She stammered as she raggedly breathed. She clammered back up and punched at Sans but missed by margins and she fell forwards with her own force. Sans grabbed her spear away from her and kicked her in the chest down to the ground. Undyne felt some tears at the corners of her eyes as she struggled to breathe, she knew she had been beaten. But she refused to cry, she refused to give Sans anymore satisfaction as he loomed above her, her very own spear in his hand ready to be used against her. Spinning it around, Sans aimed Undyne's spear for her soul and with a dark tone in his demeanor he placed his foot to her abdomen, choking the rest of the air from Undyne's body and grinned evilly. "Say your prayers Undyne!" He shouted and Undyne fell back, waiting.
