What the ark really represented.

What do you first think of

When someone says

"Noah and the Ark."

Sometimes we don't see

The what the

Real message is.

Most people will think of

A little kid's model

Of the ark

With smiling animals.

But that wasn't what really happened.

God's wrath came down

And wiped out every living thing

On the Earth

Except for Noah and everybody in the ark.

Noah was not saved

Because of righteousness

Cause he was just like us humans.

It was his faith and trust in God.

But the boat alone did not save them

"Then the Lord closed the door behind them." (Genesis 7:16)

The Lord protected him.

If the Lord

Didn't close the door,

Then the water would still drown them.

"How does this relate to me, now?"

Our ark

That protects us from God's wrath

Is Jesus

He felt, touched and experienced

God's wrath.

He protects us and saves us.

So the question

To be asked now is-

Are you in the ark?

I got this from my Sunday school lesson and I just felt like I had to make a poem for it since I never realized that the story of "Noah and the ark" pointed to Jesus so I wanted to show more people that too.
