I am so so so so so so sooooooo sorry guys for not uploading sooner. I've been on overload of stories. I still need to update like a million stories. So anyway... I give you the long overwaited... CHAPTER 4!

Sam's POV

I watched the blue light suck up the Lunch Lady and wiped my forehead. I now fully appreciated how much work Danny did to keep Amity Park safe. Glancing over at Tucker and Jazz, who looked equally wiped, I tried to smile.

"Man, what's the count now? 8? Something like that." Tucker said. "We should go put her in the portal."

"Just a second. We're not that far away from the hospital, I want to visit Danny." I tried to sound persuasive.

"Sam, you need to chill out about Danny. He'll think you're a like, stalker or something." Tucker responded.

I glared at him, he glared at me. The glarefest seemed to go on forever until Jazz held up her hands.

"Guys, let's just go check on him. I want to see him too. He is my brother."

"Fine." Tucker said apologetically.

We took off for the hospital. I stared down at the sidewalk, becoming ever interested in my shoes. Turning our way through the town, I looked at the surroundings I had never really got a good look at until now. We passed the Nasty Burger and sniffled. Things weren't the same without Danny. We walked towards the white looming building that held Danny, my best friend. I picked up my pace a little and jogged through the identical white hallways that I had memorized. Jogging past a doctor, I held my arms against the doorframe and saw Danny sitting up in bed, looking pale. That is, until he spotted me.

"Sam! Hey!" Danny cried, a smile bursting onto his face.

"Hey Danny, how are you feeling?" I asked walking closer to the bed.

"Better. They say in a few days I'll be able to go home and keep on continuing the memory recovery."

"That's good. Are you remembering more?"

"Yeah, everyday another little thing pops into my head. I remembered something, just this morning... About a burger place? Filthy Burger?"

"Nasty Burger, but close enough."

Danny grinned that cocky smile I loved.

"Hey little brother." Jazz walked up beside me.

"Hey... Jazz, right?"

"Yeah." Jazz looked ready to full on cry.

"I'm sorry. It's just... The memory loss." Danny apologized.

"It's alright."

"No, it's not. I'm a jerk to have forgotten you in the first place. What was I doing when I hit my head? Running into a brick building on a dare? Trying to do a one handed cartwheel? I was an idiot to take a risk like that." Danny looked like he wanted to punch himself.

I wanted so badly to tell him he had been fighting off a ghost and protecting the town when he hit the wall. The grief Danny was putting himself through almost broke my heart.

"You'll remember soon enough." I tried to persuade.

"I shouldn't have forgotten in the first place."

The room was silent for a few seconds as Danny looked down at his bedspread.

"Anyway, how have they been treating you?" Jazz asked, sitting on the edge of his bed.

"The food's been great." He perked up a little.

"That's good." Jazz smiled.

I turned and saw Tucker staring out the window.

"Tucker?"

"Sam, we've got a situation outside."

I looked outside and could see brief flashes of light.

"Seriously?!" I muttered. "Danny, me and Tucker gotta sort something out for a second, we'll be right back."

Danny looked up at me from Jazz with a look of concern.

"Right back?" He asked.

"Right back." I repeated.

He nodded and looked back at Jazz to continue the conversation.

"...and for some reason, I keep seeing frootloops when I sleep..." He said, as Tucker and I left the room.

I grinned and was able to keep from laughing. I looked over at Tucker and he was suppressing his laughter as well. We walked out of the hospital and out of the corner of my eye I saw Tucker put his hand in his pocket, ready to pull out his ecto-gun. I let my hand casually drop to my own pocket and grip the curved body of Danny's thermos.

"We just can't catch a break, can we?" I heard Tucker whine.

"Just keep your eyes open and watch." I warned, my eyes flicking to every direction.

Tucker grumbled but stayed compliant. I could feel a presence. A feeling almost, that tingled in my body. Like, I could feel what was coming but the name was on the tip of my tongue. Dread filled me and I had a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach.

"Where's the ghost child?" I heard the male voice say, as Skulker dropped down onto the street. "I have heard he has been in a weakened state."

"You can eat my ecto gun!" Tucker yelled, pulling it out and aiming, then shooting.

It missed Skulker by inches, and he headed for us.

"I hear that the ghost child doesn't remember." Skulker grinned.

"You won't be hearing much soon." I pulled out the thermos but he dodged.

"This will work out pleasantly. He will not remember how to fight... I bet he doesn't even remember his ghost side!" Skulker laughed.

I trained the tractor beam from the thermos on him and he headed closer for me.

"I suppose you have been secretly doing his ghost hunting while keeping the secret?" He asked, amused.

"We're handling it just as good as Danny would have." I argued.

Tucker got a shot in with the ecto gun. Skulker roared and shot at us with a few missiles. Tucker and I shared an agreement in seconds and we jumped out of the way; him left, me right.

"Can't you cut us a break?!" Tucker whined.

"I am." He let another missle go and I jumped as it impacted with the ground.

Tucker shot at him again, to which Skulker just laughed.

"You have worse aim than your ghost child friend." He taunted.

"And yet he catches you every time." Tucker retorted.

"But this time, you do not have the skill, or power of the ghost child." Skulker came back with.

I aimed the beam and watched, shocked, as something hit Skulker from behind, a green beam of ectoplasm, such as what Danny shoots. He stumbled in midair, and landed in the path of the beam. The thermos' powerful suction pulled Skulker down and he disappeared into the thermos. But I wasn't looking at the thermos, or even celebrating the fact that we got Skulker. Instead... I was staring at the place where the green ecto blast came from.

"Is that...?" My mouth dropped open.

I could tell Tucker was staring as well. This was the last place I thought I would see this. I almost dropped the thermos in shock. Finally I worked up the strength to close my mouth and form words.

"Dani?"

CLIFFY! Yes I FINALLY brought Dani into this. My devious mind PLANNED THIS THE ENTIRE TIME! MMWAAAAAAHHAAAAAA!
