GUYS I AM SO SORRY!

I havn't updated this in forever and I apologize as I have no excuse other than my own laziness. I am done rough drafting the next chapter so they will be up in a few days but have this while I am working. This isn't necessarily important to the plot but enjoy it anyway. It's super short but it's cute so I hope you enjoy it. Hopefully this will hold you all over for a few days.

Despite what Valerie had promised Dave had spent most of the trip at the mall getting nasty looks from Josh, Valerie's boyfriend. He spent the rest of the time being really fucking surprised by how easy faking a relationship was coming to Chris. From an on looker he's pretty sure they looked like an ordinary gay couple, not that touchy feely, trading snark, throwing in sarcastic I love yous and holding hands as they walked to a different store. To be honest Dave didn't think this would be to hard, they were basically being sarcastic assholes to the girls the whole time without actually sounding like sarcastic assholes.

Dave never enjoyed shopping, never unless it's comics and coffee and to his surprise Chris seemed to agree. Dave followed Chris as he looked through racks upon racks of what looked like, in Dave's opinion, high-priced goth girl shirts that are made to look like thrift store clothing. The girls didn't seem to care they had gone quiet and left, diverging from the group as they piled clothes on each other.

"I hate shopping." Chris spoke up after looking at a hole ridden shirt that looked far to big for him. He looked at the shirt for a minute before handing it to Dave. "You seem ok." Dave said, reluctantly draping the shirt over his arm with the others. "I usually just order my clothes online and have Tony pick them up." He shrugged. "Shopping at a mall for clothes seems really fucking gay." Dave scoffed. "It probably wouldn't be as gay if you would shop in, like, the guys section." Chris stopped what he was doing, holding some grey skinny jeans in his hands. "Dave, do not even try to give me fucking fashion advice. You've been wearing the same hoodie since freshman year."

Dave looked down at his green pullover, thumbing over the frayed fabric. "It's got, like, sentimental value. I can't just get a new one." He mumbled defensively. Chris laughed, putting the jeans in his pile on Dave's arm and gesturing for him to follow. They switched sides of the store, the men's section thankfully, and Chris began to search through the jackets. Dave watched him for a while, confused. "What are you doing?" He wasn't given an answer but Chris pulled out a dark green hoodie and switched racks before looking through that one just as vigorously. "Don't worry about it." Chris said with a half smirk before pulling out a brown army style jacket and added that to Dave's arms.

"I don't have the money for this you'll just have to deal-" Dave started, moving his arms awkwardly to look at the price tags. "Don't with about it, I can't deal with walking next you with a four year old jacket. Besides, you need something sort of fucking nice to talk to my dad." Chris shrugged like it was no big deal but Dave could tell he wanted some praise. "You don't have to," Chris grinned, "oh but I do. Here just wear this green one under the brown one. Trust me. Now come on. I'm sick of these fucking girls go take these to the cashier thing then go tell them were going to go fuck or something." He said, grabbing his wallet from the back of his pants as he talked, taking out a credit card that Dave doubted had a limit on it. Dave rolled his eyes.

"I'm not telling them we're going to fuck, I'll tell them were going to, like, I don't know; have dinner or something." Dave said with a sigh, following Chris to the counter and dumping the clothes there. Chris laughed, "That some how sounds more faggoty to say that then saying were going to get laid like-" he stopped when Katy walked up to them with an ever present smile in her face that every attractive girl usually owns. "Hello, boys." She smiled. "Valerie's boyfriend wants to go home so it's just going to be me and you guys." She sighed, looking at the two of them expectantly.

Chris made a sad noise. "Sorry, Katy, I would love to but me and Dave have to go fu-." Dave interrupted him suddenly, "Uh- uh I'm going to go meet the folks, yeah." Dave supplied through a nervous laugh, hoping that Katy would not notice. Katy looked sad for a moment before smiling and nodding and telling them that she understood. "I'm just going to leave you to it." She said with a smile. "It was nice hanging out with you." She put one hand on each of the shoulder shaking them lightly. "You guys are adorable together. It was nice to finally spend time with you. I see you guys in the hallway all the time and I'm thinking 'I should hang out with those guys' but I never did." She laughed and gathered her bags telling them they should make plans again. Then she left out of the store and presumably out of the mall, leaving the two together.

There was silence as Chris swiped his card and thanked the cashier as his new clothing was being bagged. "I hate her fucking voice." He mumbled after a but. "Her tits are amazing but then she says shit and-" "Don't talk bad about Katy." Dave interupted him, a defensive tone in his voice. Chris laughs, "Why not?" He leans in and whispers, so that his body guard, lerking just outside of the shop, wouldn't here. "You got a crush, Loverboy?" He teased.

Dave huffed, grabbing the bags if clothing and ignoring the cashiers put off expression without being asked. "What, no, I mean- I know it's-" he flustered around for a bit, Chris laughing at him as he put his wallet back in his pocket. Dave gave up as they walked out of the store. "You know what? Nevermind, let's go fuck."

Chris laughed so hard he snorted and whatever. It could have been Dave's best mall trip ever. Maybe this whole gay thing wouldn't be to hard, as long as Katy stayed the same with her admittedly nazily voice. He heard the loud foot steps of Tony and maybe that had something to do with him slipping his free hand into Chris's. Maybe Dave made stupid jokes all the way back to his house just to her Chris giggle-snort because it was halarious. Maybe it was actually, sort of, maybe a bit cute. Maybe not. Whatever.

See told you. Short. Sorry. I love you o3o. Review please?
