Back To School
Hey, my fellow Fanfictioners! Please don't hate me because I've been gone. I'm back, and better than ever, if I do say so myself. I've got a new chapter for you, so buckle up your seat belts.
P.S. – Jacob is in community college or somewhere like that. He's too "old" for high school. Or, at least, he looks it.
Disclaimer: I have never, do not, and never will own Twilight. Sadly. *Cry, Cry, Tear, Tear*
Alice's P.O.V. (Bet you weren't expecting that!)
After Bella and Edward left the house, I whispered, "Time to get dressed!" Though I had whispered it, of course everyone heard. We were vampires. It's what we do.
Rosalie ran up to my room and we began raiding Bella's closet. We threw thing after thing on the floor, shaking our heads.
"This just will not do? What has Bella done with all the nice clothes we bought her?" I asked, puzzled.
"You know Bella's probably thrown those out by now. We have to go to our emergency stash," Rosalie said. I nodded.
We walked to Rosalie's room and into her enormous closet. Near the back, there were boxes piled high with the names of each of our family members. We moved all the boxes, finally reaching the box that was marked Bella.
After a long deliberation between Rose and I, we pulled out a navy Juicy Couture Jersey Nightie Top, white Rag & Bone stretch cotton-blend legging-style jeans, and Brian Atwood crystal-embellished suede sandals, along with accessories. We decided Bella's hair would stay in wavy layers, as always.
For Rosalie, she chose a multicolor belt floral print short sleeve chiffon dress with black leggings and Zoe Lee Cream Leather Violet Boots. She put her hair up in a neat bun with two strands falling on either side.
Finally, for me, I decided on a GUESS women's vintage-style ditsy print draped-front sleeveless top, Rebecca Minkoff Crosby boyfriend shorts, and Sole Society Nessie (A/N: Yes, this was the HUGEST coincidence ever, and I just couldn't pass it up!) combat boots. My hair was in it's regular pixie cut.
As soon as Rose and I finished dressing, Bella and Edward arrived. We looked at each other before dashing downstairs.
"Bella! Time to get you dressed!" I yelled, eagerly grabbing her arm. She resisted!
"Why can't I wear this, Alice? It's fine!" Bella said, motioning to her black and white striped T-shirt, blue jeans, and Nikes.
I gasped. She couldn't be serious. Rosalie looked ready to cry, and we all know vampires can't cry!
"Bella, that monstrosity? That abomination? That looks like you're a prisoner who cut their sleeves off and threw on some jeans! Now, come along! Time to get dressed!" Together, Rosalie and I dragged Bella upstairs and fought her to get dressed. She used every trick in the book, but Rose and I didn't budge.
After a struggle, Bella was dressed and ready for school.
"Kids! Time to go! Five minutes until the school starts!" Esme called. We rushed downstairs and walked to our mates.
"Bella, you look beautiful! Don't worry, Alice knows what she's doing," I heard Edward tell Bella.
We were walking to the car when I saw it. It was tragic. These people… they were monsters.
"I'll be right back," I told Jasper, zipping back upstairs. When I was done, things safely packed in my messenger bag, I ran back downstairs.
"Ready," I said happily, excited for it to happen. Just so Edward wouldn't know, I began singing the Hokey Pokey forward, backwards, then in Greek. I heard Edward grumble, clearly not happy with the fact that I was keeping something from him.
This was going to be good.
~ Just A Line Break. Don't Pay Me Any Mind! ~
"You cheated!" Rosalie screamed at Edward, poking him in the chest. He smirked.
"Why, Rosalie, you can't be too hard on yourself for losing. Or too hard on the rest of us."
Rosalie growled at him, and got into the attack position, but Emmett held her back. He whispered comforting things in her ear until she calmed down. When he thought she was calm enough, he let her go. Rose calmly walked over to Edward and slapped him.
"As if we didn't already have enough attention," Jasper said, rolling his eyes.
It was true; everyone was ogling us, as well as our cars. I heard a wolf whistle, but I couldn't tell if it was for one of us girls or the car. Either way, our husbands put their arms around us, glaring at the human boys. This, of course, caused the girls to swoon.
I wrapped my arms around Jasper.
"Now, everyone remember the plan?" I mumbled.
"We've been over it five times, Alice! You, Emmett and Bella are the Swan's. Rosalie and Jasper are the Cullen's, and I'm Edward Mason. We've got it down," Edward muttered in exasperation, clearly still upset I wasn't letting him into my mind.
"Fine, fine! I was just making sure," I said, not at all fazed by Edward's annoyance.
"Everybody ready?" Jasper asked, the first thing he had said since we had driven into the parking lot. My heart went out to him. All these teenagers, feeling all these different emotions. He must have felt fifteen different things at once!
"Well then. Let's go!" I said, grabbing Jasper's hand and leading the group to the school. Little did they know, things were about to get interesting.
Okay, okay, you probably want to kill me right now. I've been gone for months, then come back with this short, stubby chapter. But I am back, and I will try my hardest to update regularly. Now onto the challenge:
The first person to guess what Alice saw get's a shout out, and an OC.
I doubt you'll figure it out, though. Oh, and thank you to all my betas!
Signing off,
LTW
