Raven was one of the first ones back into camp, and John was waiting. Raven walked past John, and headed towards the medical tent, while John followed close behind.

Raven walked in, and she immediately strode over to Shatiil. She sat down, put her head in her hands, and sighed.

"Raven, you alright?" John asked tentatively.

"Yeah," Raven said weakly. "Yeah, im fine, did you need me for something?

"No, you look stressed, just relax." John advised.

Raven only sighed again, leaned back, and closed her eyes.

"Rave, come with me. Don't argue, just do it."

Raven followed John into their tent, and john turned around to face her.

"This may sound weird, but take off your shirt and lay face down on your cot." John said awkwardly.

"Wait, what? Why may i ask?" Raven said, half intrigued, half scared.

"Just do it. You're going to like it, I promise. And you know i don't break promises."

"Fine." Raven huffed, as she took off her shirt, leaving her only in her undershirt.

Raven lay down face first on her cot, and waited for whatever John was about to do.

He kneeled down and pressed his thumbs into her shoulders. He kneaded her muscles with a firm but gentle hand. Raven was smiling the whole time John massaged her.

John moved down her spine, then moved further up to her neck. After that, he moved down to her legs, then to her arms. He massaged everything again, then left her in the tent.

"Mmmmmmm..." Raven said, laying in complete bliss.

An hour later, and the feeling wore off, so Raven got up, got dressed, and walked out of the tent.

"Captain! Captain," Ruiz called as he ran up to her." the shuttles are arriving in approximately 23 minutes. Get ready for them."

Raven immediately took down her tent, and put it in a pile of random equipment. Then she went to find Shatiil.

"Raven, welcome to the chaos. I know who you're looking for, follow me." John said warmly.

The two weaved through the chaotic camp, and eventually arrived at a group of stretchers laying on the ground.

"Incapacitated go first, then it goes by the severity of your injuries. We'll be some of the first up there after Shatiil." John explained.

Raven just lay down, and waited for the shuttles to arrive. John kept her company until the shuttles could be seen in the sky.

The ships were standard Laat/I's, and there were enough for everybody to fit in one transport run.

Clones jumped out if the shuttles, assessed the situation, and started grabbing stretchers to put in the shuttles.

"Alright everybody, troopers, stand back! Ranking officers step forward!" A clone commander yelled.

Raven, John, Ruiz, and a few dozen others stepped forward.

"Officers get on that shuttle down there. Everyone else form a line and wait for a transport to land!" The commander yelled once again.

The group of officers stepped aboard the Laat, then the doors closed, sealed, and the shuttle took off.

When they landed in the Venator's hangar, there was a large group of clones waiting for them, and one man in uniform.

"Let's go greet the captain, hmm?" John said.

"Yeah, let's go." Raven replied resignedly.

"Captain, im John Koll, and this is Captain Stone. The rest of the command staff are either immobilized or dead." John reported.

"Hmm, come with me. Im Captain Jayel, by the way."

Raven and John followed Jayel to a quiet corner of the hangar and sat down on a case of blasters.

"Go on, what happened? Why did your ship explode?" Jayel asked.

"Well," Raven started. "Me and my girlfriend woke up, and went on as usual, no alarms, no sirens. But as soon as we got to the bridge, the night captain informed me of fires in the ship."

"How did fires break out?" Jayel asked

"I'm not done yet! Anyways, the fires broke out due to a massive failure in auxiliary reactor 2. The fires damaged the ship's networking grid, and many of the complex systems failed, including ship comms. Shortly after we took over, we shut down the main reactor, but the fires breached the fuel tanks, which detonated, destroying the ship." Raven explained, feeling embarrassed and scared.

"You're free to go, but I'll call on you tomorrow morning, got it?" Jayel said.

"Understood, I'll be waiting." Raven said, as Jayel started to walk away.

"Come on, we need to find Shatiil and Kay." John said.

The two walked over to the sttetchers, and found Kay being carried away by two clones, and Shatiil by another pair.

"You're heading to surgery, right?" Raven asked the clones carrying Kay.

"Why would we be heading to surgery?" The clone in back asked incredulously.

"You know this woman?" The lead clone asked.

"Yes, and we'd be heading to surgery to remove this shard of metal from her chest." Raven said matter-of-factly.

"Wait, did you not check to see of she was dead?!" The lead clone yelled at the one in the back.

"I checked, and there was a shard of metal in her chest, she's dead." He said in a taut voice.

"Well, let's check again," The lead clone said, leaning over her to feel her pulse and breathing. "You bloody idiot. As to you ma'am, yes, we are taking her to surgery."

"She's alive?" The clone in the back said, incredulous. "She's a lucky one, i hope you know that."

Raven just looked at him pointedly, and started walking behind the clones.

They arrived at the medical bay, and doctors immediately rushed over to Shatiil and Kay. Raven instinctively stood next to Shatiil, but John put his hand on her shoulder. She looked back, and his face clearly said, stay out of their way.

Raven nodded, found a chair in the waiting room, and sat down while John did the same.

"Hey, do you know the woman with the shard of metal in her chest?" a doctor asked John.

"Yeah, why? Is she okay?" John replied.

"Well, she's about to be operated on. It's projected to take almost 15 hours, so it's gonna be awhile. Find a bed, get some rest, food, whatever. You have time." The doctor stated, then hurried back the way he came.

"Rave, you heard that, right? Let's go get a place to sleep for awhile."

Raven nodded, and blankly followed John back to the hangar.

They walked up to the clones who were assigning temporary quarters to the survivors of the crash.

"Captain Stone, officer Koll, I heard about the other bridge staff. You have officer quarters 902, sector 4. A few minutes walk from the medbay, but it's the closest i could get you," One of the clones said, "Don't thank me. No, actually don't, i'd feel awkward."

"Alright, th-, I hope you have a good day trooper." Raven said, turning back around to walk to her quarters, and a proper bed too.

She walked in, beelined it for the bed, flopped onto it, and fell asleep within seconds.
