.Angel, Angel Tricks, Indirianna, xxxLucyxharemfanxxx, imKimTheWriter, Loner72 and Ern Estine 13624 for your reviews, I read every single one and I really appreciated them!

There is a link on my profile of a pic. of how I imagine the GoM to look like as girls.

Enjoy!

"The hell? They're letting a girl be their captain?"

"Rakuzans' probably losing their touch if they think a girl can beat us. She's a first year on top of that, they're underestimating us."

The jeers were familiar and Akashi would be more surprised if there were no complaints about her leading a team in her first year. She's heard it all before, and just like back then she would show exactly why she was the captain. She would show why Rakuzan was always victorious.

The other team, some middle tier school, could only watch in fascination as she dominated the court. She played around them like they were children and it was so obvious that she didn't need to waste her time playing them when her four other teammates could easily do the job. Any reservations the Rakuzan players had about having her on the team ceased at that moment. Right now she wasn't just the Captain of the Generation of Miracles, she wasn't just the Captain of Rakuzan's Basketball Team.

She was Akashi Seijuro, the Emperor of the Court.

And she was always right.

Murasakibara didn't really want to play. She would win anyway so what was the point? Her teammates had already given up trying to get her to play and left her alone to enjoy eating her protein bar. But then again she clearly heard the benchwarmers from the other team snicker about it didn't matter she was one of the Miracles, she was just a girl and therefore she must be weak.

She didn't like it when people called her weak.

Himuro smiled at her when she glared at one of the first stringers to make room for her on the line up and the opposing team (what was their name again?), gaped up at her because damn she was tall, taller than any of them and she looked like she could crush them effortlessly. "I'm glad to see you playing Murasakibara-san. Why the change of heart?" Himuro commented lightly a pretty smile on his face when he looked approvingly at her. Jeez, why was this guy so happy to see her play? He'd seen her play at practice before.

"They said I was weak. I'm not weak." She trained her glare at the bench where the reserve player flinched at her stare and she'll show them who's really weak. Murasakibara will show them what real weakness is and if they're smart they won't forget it. The ball was thrown up by the referee and all she has to do is stretch for it while the other guy jumps with all his might. She passes the ball to one of her teammates and takes her post under the net.

They never stood a chance.

If one managed to get past one of her teammates she crushed any notions of them making a shot. The others only looked on in despair as the points rose in Yosen's favor while they couldn't even make one basket.

This is what they get for calling her weak.

Aomine was slightly excited to play in her first practice game. She hasn't actually played since middle school and she hopes that maybe now that she's playing against high school teams they surely can offer some kind of challenge. Maybe even someone that could finally beat her.

But she was wrong.

Everyone was just as weak as the players in middle school, she feels disgusted. She hasn't played in months and this is what happens? The opponents didn't even last until the second quarter; they had lost hope so quickly that it made her angry. Was it so much to ask for one strong player? Apparently so, she benched herself before the third quarter started and ignored Wakamatsu's annoying complaints and didn't give a damn about Imayoshi's raised eyebrow, she ignored Momoi and Susa's disapproving looks and Sakurai only gave her a nervous glance.

"What's the problem? It's not like we're going to lose. Haven't I given us enough of a lead?" Aomine drawls and because she was right and none of them can exactly force her to play and Coach Harasawa accepts her argument and all complaints are silenced.

From her first practice match, she resigns herself to the next boring 3 years of weak teams. Only games against her old teammates to look forward too.

Midorima is not so concerned with the speculations against her. They are just words of jealousy and spite from frivolous boys who do not approve of her presence in what they deem a man's realm. But they are just words and she's heard worse over her career that she no longer cares anymore. As far as she is concerned, she has the skill to be on the court and has earned her spot. It's not her fault someone with lesser skill is jealous of her talents. It's not her problem.

But there is a difference between being a sexist idiot and demining her skills.

She could take jabs about her being a girl playing on a boys' basketball team and not flinch. But what she won't tolerate are fools who think that they are better than her on the court. Those kinds of fools used to exist in Shutoku as well before she snuffed out any misconceptions about who she was and just what she could do on a basketball court. These fools would be no different. Once the game begins she absentmindedly receives the ball from one of her new teammates and she gets into her stance at the half-court line.

The ball flies high and arches downward.

Midorima is on defense before the ball swims through the net and lands solidly on the ground.

Kise isn't excited about her first practice match. She already knows how it'll end; she'll play, copy a few moves and score basket after basket. The opposition will feel despaired and will cease resisting about half way through the game. Kaijou will win and everybody will go home. She almost doesn't want to play but she knows that Kasamatsu would kick her if she didn't, and he kicked hard for a little guy.

"Kise! The game's starting." One of her teammates (Nakamura?) called out and she ignored the splutters and ogling eyes that followed her when she removed her white t-shirt to reveal her new number 7 Kaijou jersey. "Dammit…! Don't remove your shirt where the other team can see you!" Kasamatsu stammered angrily, face beat red from either anger or embarrassment. "What? I was wearing my uniform under my shirt."

"That's not the point! Just line up already!"

"Whatever you say sempai~"

She couldn't help but frown slightly at the disappointed faces of the other team. Were they underestimating her already (for some reason her fellow starters were glaring at them)? Her honey eyes narrowed, well Kise couldn't have that now could she? By the time the first quarter ended, she felt the old boredom and disappointment creep into her veins. These guys weren't strong at all, although she would give them props for not giving up yet.

Kise vainly hoped that her next game would be more exciting.

Kuroko felt nervous and elated about the practice match with Kaijou. She felt lucky that she could put her plan into motion already, although a part of her wondered if Kagami and Seirin were ready. She hadn't seen Kise in months and there was no telling how much the blond girl had improved in that time. The only comfort she had was that out of the Generation of Miracles (minus Kuroko), Kise was the least experienced one.

Kuroko still remembered the slight panic she felt when she saw Kagami sitting on the floor after his one on one with Kise when she came over to greet Kuroko during practice. She half expected Kagami to become despaired over the difference in his and Kise's abilities, lose hope of ever beating the Generation of Miracles. Take back his words from the other night. But he didn't. He got up and grinned wildly, Kagami was excited to play against someone who was obviously stronger. She felt a small sense of satisfaction when Kise actually blanched at the red head, the blond clearly wasn't used to seeing someone so strong willed.

Perhaps Kagami did have a chance.

And a burning excitement boiled just under her pale skin, if things went off like she hoped they would. Then maybe, just maybe, she could topple her old teammates and show them just how strong Kuroko was.

She'd show them that her basketball was just as good as theirs.

As always, thanks for reading! Hope I did this chapter as well as the last three.

Review please!
