I put the letter down, putting my hand upon my head. I covered my eyes as they filled up with a warm liquid. I heard the click of a seat belt unbuckle, but I kept my head down. Warm legs wrapped around my lap, and Sonny's arms began to wrap around my cold, weak body. She hugged me tight. I was taken by such surprise, it put me in an even more emotional state. The loving touch of someone was something I haven't experienced in a very long time. And from Sonny, it made me feel safe. I hugged her back, and squeezed my eyes onto her shoulder. I slid my fingers through her long hair that connected down her back, and I felt a warm feeling come over my heart. I didn't want alcohol, or drugs If I had this.

She pulled from the hug, and grabbed the letter gripped from my hand, tossing it into the backseat behind me. She was close enough that I could smell the aroma coming from her, Chanel number 5? Everything about her was so appealing to me. She brushed her fingers upon my wet cheek, wiping the heaps of tears escaping from my eyes.

"I'm so sorry." she said in a soft, comforting tone, looking into my eyes, "I wish I could make you feel better." her hands traced through my dirty blonde locks, giving me goosebumps up my arm, every rhythm she went.

"You have no idea." I answered, letting my eyes travel her petite body as she sat weightlessly on top of me. I immediately forgot about the pain I had just endured. She has no idea how much better I feel from this. Our eyes locked, as I made my direction up towards her face, locking my eyes with hers.

She chewed at her bottom lip, "Give me an idea, Cooper. I would love to see that sexy smile." she stated, adjusting my collar and tie. I licked my lips slowly as she tugged at my accessories.

"Oh really?" I asked, feeling a little rambunctious, "You think my smile is sexy, Random?" I teased, grinning at her a little. She laughed, putting her hand over her forehead as she blushed a little.

"Oops, I almost forgot who I was dealing with," She said, rolling her eyes in a teasing way, looking back at mine, "Hey, but it kind of worked" she pointed out, as my grin grew wider. She reached toward the driver seat, grabbing her purse. She pulled out a bottled water, passing it to me, "Drink this." she demanded.

"And you care about my well being? Damn Sonny, you must really have the hots for me." I teased, grabbing the bottled water, throwing the cap toward the backseat. I took a large gulp, closing my eyes as I laid my head on the head rest. I found myself at the end of the bottle, struggling to keep all the water in my mouth as it trickled down my neck. I opened my eyes again, noticing her eyes travelling along every inch of my body she could see. I watched her as she did so, waiting for our eyes to meet once more.

"So go on," She said, "Give me an idea, what will make you feel better?" She asked, beginning to trace her fingers along my exposed chest. I raised my eyebrow a little, attempting to read her body language. I wanted more from her, and she knew it. I could feel myself growing, recollecting the fact she was still straddled around my waist. I gripped her chin, and my eyes met her glossy plump lips. I observed them closely, getting even more turned by the logic of her lips on mine. Or even better, wrapped around my shaft. I rubbed my thumb slowly across both her lips, not only teasing her, but teasing myself. I grazed my thumb along her bottom lip, dragging it down as it exposed a little bit of her bottom set of teeth. Her weak eyes looked into mine, as we inched closer. I could feel my heart beating out of my chest, as her lips were close enough for me to feel her warm breath on mine. I'm going in-

RING RING, RING RING

"Fuck," I let out softly, as my phone began to ring in my pocket, perfect fucking timing. I sighed, reaching into my pocket under me. Sonny hopped off my lap, as I grabbed my phone, giving me a look of concern. I looked at the caller I.D, leaning against the car door. Of course it's Scarlett, and of course I have to break the bad news to her. "It's my sister." I stated, as I looked at the phone, "I'm just gonna step out for a bit." I opened the car door, leaving it open. I grabbed the top of the roof, reaching myself up as I was still feeling a intoxicated. I leaned against the side of the car, before letting out one more sigh before answering it.

"Hey." I answered, bluntly.

"Where are you?" She immediately asked,

"Work," I looked around the shoulder that we had pulled over on, as the cars continuously passed. It was dark out, and the street lights were turning on. I have to eventually go home and face the music, again. "I can come pick you up, just give me an hour. I have some... news." My eyes travelled around impatiently as I waited for her response. How am I supposed to tell her this?

"News? This should be good." She hung up immediately. My tongue grazed the bottom of my teeth as I thought about how this was gonna go down, I put my phone back in my pocket. I put my hand on the top of the roof as I looked towards Sonny in the drivers seat. She had nothing but a look of care on her face as I sighed before speaking once again.

I grabbed the pack of cigarettes in the middle of the seats. I grabbed a lighter from my pocket inside my jacket, lighting up another smoke,

"I gotta go to Beverly Hills to pick my sister up," I said, inhaling the smoke into my lungs. I looked towards the distance in front of me.

"Well either I am driving you or you're taking a cab, because I can hear it in your voice, you're still drunk." She stated, adjusting the rear view mirror above her head once more,

I shook my head, exhaling smoke from my nose and mouth, "I don't think so Munroe," I grabbed the bag of coke, wrapping a sweater around it then throwing it in the glove compartment, "I don't want you to see me in this light." A loud sigh escaped my lips as I leaned myself back into the car, my legs still outside the car. I took another drag of my cigarette.

"I've aready seen you in this light, Chad." She said calmly, starting the car back up, "and I am definitely not letting you drink and drive." She stated, "But... I definitely agree this is something between you and your sister so I respect your privacy." Her hand met my shoulder, as her fingers began to slowly caress it. I smiled to myself as just a touch had made me feel so safe. It was lame to admit, but I truly felt her consideration.

I adjusted my posture, turning my head side to side as I attempted to crack my neck or back a little. I fixed my jacket, gripping my collar and tie to adjust it. I pulled down the flap where the mirror was and fixed my look. I couldn't recognize myself with my swollen, bed-ridden eyes.

I flipped the flap back up, sitting myself completely in the car. I shut the door, leaning back into the seat, as I looked back into her direction. She had already been looking at me,

"Thanks Sonny," I smiled brightly, as my glossy eyes looked into hers, "I've always thought you were amazing, but this just tops the cake," I bit my lip, trying to forget about what this next encounter could possibly entail. I just wanted to get my feelings out. The alcohol was definitely helping me do so.

Her cheeks warmed up as my words poured out, in an unsteady tone. I could read it all over her face, she felt some type of way. I know she does.

"Would you say I make good wifey material?" She teased, glancing at me with a smirk, as she began driving towards the highway leading to Beverly Hills.

She always had the smoothest remarks, giving me a reason to always play with her words, and work with it, "Oh hell yeah. I'd wife you up any fucking day," I laughed slightly, feeling my stomach turn from the thought.

"Hmm," she hummed out, as I could see the thoughts travelling through her little head. She kept her head towards the road, as the smirk on her face was plastered for quite a moment,

"Would you make me your husband?" My drunk thoughts poured out, as I laid father back into the seat. I was interested in where I could take this,

She giggled, looking at the road, then back at me, then back at the road again, "Chad." She answered, unsure how to reply. I didn't expect her to know how to answer such a question, but I love how distracted she can make me.
