A/N: Part IV

Crazy Red Head Adventures IV (Final)

During team CoreTech's early breakfast in the motel's quaint but satisfying cafeteria, an employee came running out from the entrance, his hair a complete mess. "There's a helicopter holding outside the motel!"

Abby perked up as soon as she heard this. "That's my cue." Then she quickly scarfed down the remains of food on her plate, bounced up and put on the puffy parachute suit she initially wore. She proceeded to drag her Jinja along her way, despite the other's protests of finishing the fancy breakfast that might be the last one she ever got to eat. "You can roll around in caviar later! You got much more important stuff to do right now!"

"Such as?" Jinja groaned as she was dragged outside in the whirlwind of air that the helicopter had caused. That salmon omelet with caviar really was something.

"Such as telling me goodbye, Jin, obviously!" the redhead rolled her eyes as if it was an obvious answer. "Don't start to cry, though, 'cause I really can't stay."

"Right," Jinja raised a brow, unimpressed but went to hug her friend goodbye nevertheless. "Please don't get into any trouble at home, Abby. I got enough on my plate here."

"Will do," the redhead promised, her fingers positioned in a 'scouts honor' salute.

"You're crossing your fingers, aren't you?"

"Am not."

"Am too."

"Am not. I'm crossing my legs, toes, and my braids are crossing. But I'm not crossing my fingers," Abby replied truthfully, grinning. "But don't worry! I'll be busy writing a ton of articles in the school paper about your adventures! Free of charge!" she said and hugged her friend even tighter. Jinja sighed with a smile.

"Gee, I don't know what to say."

The boys came out of the building as well and Abigail didn't hesitate to jump them all with a stack of hugs for each of them. "Suno! Bren-Bren! I'm going to miss you guys so much!"

The two boys hugged her back, both wearing amused looks. "We're going to miss you a lot too, Abby," Chase smiled. The redhead released him from the hug and sent him a wink.

"Lay off the Monsuno fights and immeasurable collateral damage and find yourself a love interest, okay? Find a cute girl to kiss once in a while. Or boy. Whatever floats your boat, really," she snorted when she saw Chase blush a little in response and turned to look at Bren. "You too, Bren-Bren, you need to start getting into the dating game quickly. I expect you to have someone's number when I get back."

Dax raised his hand. "Does tech support count?"

The team of teenagers shared a good-natured laugh upon seeing Bren's embarrassed blush, but Abby decided to leave him be for now and pecked him on the cheek before moving on to hug Dax. "Go easy on Jin, Dax; granted she could beat the Crag out of you any day, but she's still a girl."

Dax smiled, stealing a quick look from Jinja. "Yeah, I couldn't have asked for a better girl to fall in love with. And you're not half bad yourself, mate. Best of luck in your future acts of mischief."

"A pleasure to have become acquainted with you, Daxie," Abby smiled broadly. As soon as she released the Lowlander, she practically jumped at the monk who was at the point of tripping from the sheer force of her hug. "Beyal, baby, I'll miss you the most! Please don't leave me!"

With some difficulty, the monk managed to wrap his arms around the girl who was glued to his upper body. He smiled nervously. "It is unfortunate to have you leaving so soon, Abby, but alas, that is the path Fate has chosen for you today."

"Then leave with me! Go with me, go with me, go with me-"

"I'm afraid that is not an option," Beyal chuckled and carefully put the girl down. "It is my destiny as a part of the Five Tribes to aid all Monsunos and my friends in our quest for peace."

Abby took her helmet off and pouted a little. A forlorn expression appeared on her face. "Yeah, I don't think I can top that."

Beyal smiled at her before coughing into his fist. "Uhm…so I believe you expressed interest earlier about my preference in women, correct?"

Abby's green eyes widened, and a string of nervous giggles escaped her immediately. "Wait, you actually thought about that? Man, you didn't need to; I was way out of line…at least that's what Jinja says."

"And you?"

The redhead blinked a few times before scratching her head. She shrugged. "I'm always up for an answer. What do you got for me?"

Beyal's cheeks darkened as he stepped forth and leaned in to whisper in her ear.

"My preferences lean towards girls who are full of surprises."

The redhead stared at Beyal with wide eyes for a while before jumping him again, this time bringing both of them to the ground at once. "I love you too! Marry me!"

"Uh, Abby, your helicopter is ready to take off…you might want to get onboard," Jinja reminded, but Abby didn't seem to want to let go of Beyal any time soon, pecking him on every available spot on his face until kissing marks were littered everywhere. Dax and Chase had to wrestle her off him and into the helicopter, since she wouldn't go on her own accord.

"Till we meet again, Beyal, stay smokin'!"

Finally, she was in the helicopter and waved at her friends as it took off. It was only a small dot in the sky when Beyal noticed something, other than pink lipstick smeared on his cheeks. His necklace was gone. He searched for it and explained it to his group when he found himself unable to locate it. Jinja shook her head but smiled nevertheless.

"Man, she's good."
