Personal Questions and Unsavory Answers
Silence and tension was the only thing in that room. I hated tension. It made me restless and when I'm restless I tend to go a little knife happy. I couldn't have that. My mission required it. I broke the silence.
"Any questions for your new teacher?" I asked. Like a spell had been broken everyone had started talking at once. It was giving me a headache.
"Quiet. Quiet." Still the noise continued. Question after question being fired off like a machine gun fires bullets. Fuck this. I turned around and scratched the chalkboard. A shrill ear splitting noise filled the classroom. Like I expected everyone covered their ears. I turned around and spoke.
"I said quiet. I can't understand what you're saying if you all fire off questions like a rapid fire gun. Now, one at a fucking time. Raise your hands and ask a question. I will try to answer any questions I deem worthy enough for an answer." I said coldly. No emotions. It keeps you alive. Orihime raised her hand. I nodded at her to go ahead.
"Ichigo. Where have you been? What was it that Shiro saw in your inner world? Where did you get those scars?" Shit. The fucking cloak and shirt had no sleeves. Leaving my scars on my arms and neck on display.
"In order of your questions you asked. I've been traveling the world doing…jobs. What Shiro saw in our inner world, I don't know. As to where and how I got these scars. Did you guys honestly think that I would stay out of battles and wars? And lastly, my name is Sangeros Tigru." I answered. Unfortunately they noticed my hesitation when I spoke of my jobs. Grimmjow didn't even bother to raise a hand. But I was expecting that.
"What do you mean by "jobs"? And don't fucking lie to us either, Kurosaki. We'll know if you are or not." Classic Grimmjow, no respect for anyone. Fucking bastard. But I can't hate him. Damned emotions. Sometimes I wished I could fall into the arms of Death and succumb to the never ending flames of Hell.
"Ok. One, my name is Sangeros Tigru. Ichigo Kurosaki died three and half years ago. Two, when I said jobs I meant missions. But I am not telling you anything else pertaining to that subject. So drop it." I hissed. Calm down. Don't do something you'll regret. I could see shock and anger in Grimmjow's dark ocean blue eyes. Renji stood up,
"What the hell, Ichigo?! Why the fuck did you leave Karakura Town?! We didn't even know if you were alive or not. I thought we were your friends. You didn't tell anyone you were even leaving. Why did you up and disappear like that?" I didn't say anything for a moment. I couldn't say anything. My past was dark and full of blood, pain and unshed crystal tears. In my eyes everyone here was still pure. I didn't want to ruin it. But I knew that I would have to tell them. But it's not safe to discuss this at a school.
"I left for reasons that I would rather not discuss at a school. If you want answers come to my home after school. I will tell you everything. I just hope you understand." I whispered that last part. I looked over to my sisters to see they were close to tears. Everyone's emotions were plain. Anger, frustration, sadness, joy, all these and more flowed around the room. At that moment the bell rang, the tension shattered like a porcelain doll thrown off the roof of a two story house. I quickly assumed the teacher role. I became rather adapt at switching the roles very quickly.
"Alright. It was nice to see you. But you have a another class to get to. Don't be late and please behave." I calmly said. It was obvious that my complete turnaround confused and stunned the hell out of them. They slowly got up and left the classroom. They all gave me various looks but I didn't bother to even look. Grimmjow, Shirosaki, and Gin stopped in front of me.
"We'll see you after School, Kurosaki." Grimmjow snarled and he walked out of the room. Gin was gently pushing Shirosaki out the room saying they'll get answers later. Fuck me. I'm so freaking out about everyone coming to my temporary home. Finally. The last hour of school. Gym. Why am I the new gym teacher again? Oh yeah, Mother Tigru said it would be good to stay in shape. Honestly, it's like she'll think I'll forget my training. I walked into the changing rooms and changed into the traditional gym clothing. I didn't wear a shirt. I slipped on plain black cargo shorts that rode a little low on my hips. I didn't bother with shoes. Fuck if the students saw my scars or my wings that look like tattoos. I walked out of the changing rooms and walked into the gym. There were bleaches to my left and right. Obviously a basketball court was in front of me. Using my abilities I jumped up and sat in the rafters of the gymnasium, to wait for my last class of the day. Earlier I had placed a chalkboard in the gym and placed instructions on it.
1- Go change into gym worthy apparel.
2- When finished changing stay in front of the board. After about twenty minutes of patient waiting, the students of the last hour class started piling in. And Fate fucked me over again. Everyone from my first class just walked in. Great. I watched as they read the board and headed towards their respected locker rooms to change. When they came out they were all dressed in different colored t-shirts and basketball shorts. Maybe a little mischief would a good idea. Once everyone was in front of the board I jumped from the rafters silently landing behind Gin. I leaned in close and roared in his ear. He jumped and tripped and fell flat on his face. I stood there smirking as he glared. the glare turned to shock as he saw the scars.
"All right kiddos. I'm your new gym teacher for this hour only. I don't know what your last teacher did and I don't care. You do the exercises and I'm happy and when I'm happy everyone is happy." I stated ignoring the stares. For the next hour I had everyone run or walk around the entirety of the gym. Due to my training I could tell I was being watched. It's going to be a long day. Class is over faster than I wanted it to be. I got dressed back in my daemon uniform plus the combat boots. I grabbed my bag and waited at the front gates for the others. I didn't have to wait long for them to come into view.
"Well Strawberry, are we gonna go to your place or what?" Grimmjow huffed. I didn't bother answering. I walked towards my new temporary home. Which was right across from Kurosaki Clinic. I unlocked the front door and let everyone in. once everyone was seated somewhere in the living room I waited for the questions. Renji was first.
"Ichigo why did you leave Karakura Town?" surprisingly he was calmer. This is gonna be harder than I thought. "I didn't leave by choice." I started. I rubbed the back of my neck. 'Where do I start?' I decided to start at the beginning.
"I might as well tell you everything including the gritty details."
"Wait! We have to get the others first!" Yuzu called out. Everyone agreed. Karin ran out to get everyone. The silence was awkward as hell is hot. The door flew open making me and reach for the shotgun hidden under the counter out of instinct only to as Karin walked in with the others. Isshan, Urahara, Yoruichi, an Mayuri. Following Mayuri was a monitor that showed the other captains and their lieutenants along with Yamamoto. Great. Notice the sarcasm.
"Prepared bastards aren't you?" I muttered. Apparently Mayuri heard me and responded.
"Of course Kurosaki. What do you expect?" Weird bastard.
"Are you for the explanation or do we need to wait for anyone else?" I questioned. They shook their heads.
"It started about a few months after the battle with Aizen. I started to notice how people started to disappear from all around town. Even though I no longer had my powers I was still determined to help people any way I can. So I started to investigate the disappearances. After a few weeks of the investigation I discovered that the missing people were being kidnapped and sold on the black market. I was pissed. So I infiltrated the organization that was kidnapping them. You know to take them down from the inside. It took me months of undercover work to finally get into a position to take them down. I went to the cops with a tip about all their bases, crimes, names, everything you could possibly name. Of course I didn't tell them who I was. After the police took down the bass, the crime rate lowered rapidly. The decrease of crime in such a short time garnered the attention of an organization that worked in shadows, an organization known only as The Organization.
I didn't know it at the time but they were looking for the person who called in the tip. They wanted this person to work for them. After a month of looking they found me. At first they tried to convince me to work for them. I refused telling them that my place was here in Karakura Town. They don't take no for an answer unfortunately. After many refusals they decided that using force and extortion would work. They were right it worked. They threatened to destroy Karakura and the people in it if I didn't do as they said. So I joined up. They taught me how to pick locks, disguise myself to the point I didn't even recognize myself, how to handle any weapon placed in my hands, how to lie like a master spy and how to kill. They turned me into assassin. For the last four years I've been forced to travel the world and take various missions from people I liked nothing more than to destroy. The only reason I'm back in Karakura is because of a mission." te bare basics was was all i was willing to tell at the moment.
I didn't bother looking up because I was frightened about their reactions. Imagine that, an assassin scared of being rejected by the people I cared for.
"Ichigo. Look at us." Gin whispered.
