Black Ivy
An: So here's the fourth chapter that YOU guys voted on. So, if you don't like the way the plot turns, don't flame me. Anyways, on with the story!
Disclaimer: As always and forever, I DO NOT AND SHALL NEVER OWN HARRY POTTER.
Chapter 4- "This manipulation is the last nail in your coffin…Dumbledore!"
Harry stood in front of a mirror in the Bones ancestral home scrutinizing his new clothing. It was a combination Wizarding battle robes and a Muggle tux. It was black with red and green accents. It had several buckles located on the sleeves, two different belts wrapping around the jacket part to keep it closed when needed, and around his waist; making it look 'Badass,' as Tonks had put it.
After all the 'excitement' earlier, Amelia offered Harry a place at her ancestral home 'The Crypt' (Harry refrained from making a reference to Creepshow), and Harry had accepted reluctantly. It's not like he had anywhere go anyways. And he really just needed a place to escape the evil he had been through earlier.
Harry had spent the majority of the afternoon with the ravenous wolves that were women on a shopping trip. They basically turned him into a large dress up doll as they made him try on different clothes and then tell him to do it all over again. Daphne, somehow (he wasn't sure how she did it), hoodwinked him into buying her, Susan, and Tonks a whole new wardrobe as well! Thankfully, while he wasn't super rich, he did have enough to cover all of their expenses.
When the nightmare was over, Gabriel told him that, as a Beast Slayer, he was required to wear a warrior's garb of some kind, prompting Tonks, Susan, and Daphne to yet again drag him Madam Malkin's for new robes. Madam Malkin was more than thrilled to help him out. He now had five pairs of them (Tonks wouldn't let him get less than that).
He was straightening his robes for the thirteenth time when he heard Hedwig say, Quit your fidgeting, Harry James. You look dashing and will do fine.
He turned to Hedwig and glared. "I've never done this before, Hedwig," he told the snowy owl. "This all new to me."
I guarantee you will be fine, Harry James. She sighed and mumbled, I must admit the pink haired wench did a wonderful job with the robes. This choice of clothing certainly suits you, Harry James.
"What's with you and Tonks?" Harry asked. "You seem fine with Hermione, Susan, and Daphne."
The pink haired loud mouth witch is far too old for you. And I enjoy being around Hermione, Susan, and Daphne. They're much better company than that slob Ronald.
"Hey! Don't mock Ron! He's my friend!"
You're 'friend' is lucky I don't pluck his eyes out for trying to use me as bait for that awful Basilisk, Hedwig said snidely.
"WHAT!" Harry exclaimed, his magic whirling around him. Since the blocks on his core were destroyed, his magic was more sporadic than normal.
Calm down and I'll explain what happened, Hedwig said. Harry took deep breaths until his magic was under control. Thank you. Now, Ronald, the bloody git, when Dumbledore told him of the Basilisk, got scared and grabbed me in the owlery and planned to use me as his defense against the beast. Naturally, I pecked his fingers to make him let me go and then I pecked him on the head for good measure. He's never touched me since.
Harry gritted his teeth in an effort to control his anger. This just proved what he already knew. Dumbledore knew of the Basilisk. What's more, he told Ron! Harry felt his self-control slipping, so he asked, "Has Dumbledore ever tried to harm Hermione?" He was sure she was on his side. He knew she and Ron never liked working with each other. He just hoped their headmaster hasn't tried to do anything to her, or Harry would be on the next boat to Azkaban.
No, Dumbledore has never tried to alter your friendship with her, she said. But I'm sure he tries to use a Potion on her, but she seems to have a nack for sniffing them out. Especially after that Polyjuice incident. She glared at Harry and said, You really should apologize to her for that. That poor girl talks to me, you know? I know she doesn't regret it because she was helping you, but it hurt her a lot.
Harry looked away. "I'll apologize this evening. She'll be there at the feast, and I can confront Ron about all the information you gave me. It appears Hermione might be the first friend I made at Hogwarts."
A knock interrupted their conversation. "Harry, it's time," Susan said through the door.
"Okay," he said walking away from the mirror to his bed. Black Ivy sat on bed waiting to be lifted by its new master. Harry picked it up and looked at it for a second before he turned to Hedwig and said, "See you tonight."
Have fun, Harry James! She chirped as he walked out of his bedroom door.
They met everyone else at the entrance of Gringotts. Snape was in his usual getup, Blaise and his mother were in high-dollar robes that Harry was sure cost more than he had in Gringotts, and Daphne and Tracey Davis (there weren't many redheads in Hogwarts for him not to know her) were in matching green dress robes with light blue highlights. A small blonde that Harry assumed was Astoria wore robes of the same colors, just reversed. Gabriel and Isabel were dressed in eloquent dark colored robes. Susan and Amelia wore red robes with orange accents.
"Well," Daphne said, "we're all here. Ready to go."
Amelia nodded. "Yes. Let's hurry up. Goblins hate tardiness."
"Sooooooooo," Tracey drawled out grinning. "Time to see what carnage we can get intooo to-night!"
"Now, Tracey," Gabriel scolded lightly, "we've been over this. Don't wish for something you don't want happening to you."
"I know, I know," Tracey said waving her hand dismissively.
"Let's just go inside," Snape said. He already had to deal students enough as it was. Dealing with them outside of class was troublesome. They all nodded and walked inside.
Ragnok, Red Claw, Griphook, and a red headed man were standing in the center talking quietly. The red head was tall, taller than anyone in Harry's little group. His red hair was tied back in a ponytail. He wore a dark blue jacket over a black dress shirt. He wore black dress pants and had dark army boots covering his feet.
As the group came closer, they stopped talking and turned to face them. "Ah, Beast Slayer Basilisk Fang," Ragnok said, smirking at Harry's discomfort.
Harry quickly shook it off and remembered the crash course in Goblin etiquette Gabriel put him through. "Well met, Chairman Ragnok. May your fortune continue to grow," he said politely.
"And may your gold continue to flow," Ragnok said politely as well. "Basilisk Fang, I'd like to introduce one of our curse breakers, William Weasley, or as the Goblins know him as, Rune Crusher."
"Ah! So this is the famous Harry Potter my little sister won't shut up about!" Bill Weasley said grinning. He walked up and held his hand out to Harry. "I'm Bill, the eldest Weasley kid," he said, his grin never faltering.
Harry shook his hand and said, "I'm Harry. It's a pleasure to meet you. Hey, is Ron anywhere around? I, kinda, found out about something he did, and I want to confront him about it."
Bill scowled. "Sorry, but, like every other time I invite my family to one of these rare get-togethers, my mother said they couldn't. Didn't even allow Fred, George, and Ginny to come even though they wanted too," he said somewhat sadly.
Harry scowled as well. That was very fishy. He shook his head of those thought, however, and turned to Griphook and smiled. "Hello, Griphook. May your gold flow swiftly," he said.
"And may your enemies fall at your feet," Griphook said. "I'm must say, Beast Slayer Basilisk Fang, I never thought you would accept me as your account manager."
"Please, just call me Harry. I'm still not use to this 'Beast Slayer' thing," Harry said. "And why not? You were the first Goblin I've ever met."
Red Claw chuckled. "You certainly are one interesting person, 'Beast Slayer Basilisk Fang,'" he said with mirth as Harry scowled at him.
"Well met, Account Manager Red Claw," Gabriel said before they could continue their conversation.
"Well met, Mr. Greengrass. It's good to see you again," Red Claw said respectfully. He narrowed his eyes at Tracey. "I trust she won't cause trouble this time?"
"Yes. I made it perfectly clear what would happen if she did," Gabriel said as he stared at Tracey. She chuckled nervously.
"Harry!" a voice shouted, making all turn towards the direction it resonated from. It was Hermione. She was wearing a maroon colored dress and her hair up. Harry's breath caught. She ran up to him and hugged him tightly. He winced slightly, but that was to be expected, for him anyway. Her parents were behind her, looking amused (Hermione's mother) or irritated (Hermione's father).
"Hello, Hermione," Harry said hugging her back. "How are you?"
Hermione looked at him and smiled. "Oh, I'm fine! Did you know the goblins have tunnels that connect all there banks together?! And that it only takes several seconds to even-"
"Hermione, slow down. Take a deep breath," Harry interrupted her smirking slightly.
Hermione took a deep breath and exhaled loudly. She smiled at Harry. "So," she said smirking as well, "what's this about you impressing the Goblins so much they invited you to one of their famous feasts?"
Harry chuckled nervously. "Would you believe it's because of my damn rotten luck?" he asked.
Hermione immediately hit him on the head. "Language, Harry!" she scolded, not once losing her smirk.
"If I may interrupt," Ragnok said. "It's about time to start the feast. I suggest we move on to the Grand Hall."
Amelia, who had been quiet throughout the exchanges, spoke up then. "Of course, Chairman. Lead the way."
The feast wasn't all that bad. All they did was talk and eat. Several goblins came up and congratulated Harry while others, however, sneered at him.
After the feast, Harry apologized to Hermione as per Hedwig's instructions, and explained to her, her parents, and Blaise's mother about what Dumbledore had done to him. The adults were shocked. Hermione fiercely denied the claims at first, until Harry showed her the will and Amelia showed her Harry's medical evaluation by the goblins.
They had all agreed to help Harry with whatever he needed. As they all parted ways, he handed Hermione two books, the book on House Elves and about the Ancient and Noble Houses. He couldn't wait to see her face when she read her family may be Purebloods.
(An: Too lazy to cover the entire feast, sorry.)
It was a week later that found Harry stumbling out of the Floo of the Leaky Cauldron. He promised to meet Amelia here so they could have the Dursleys sign over Harry's guardianship to her. He wasn't too thrilled about going back to that house, but it was necessary.
He checked his watch and found he had a couple of minutes, so he decided to go to Muggle London and walk around. Sure beat sitting around waiting. He walked out of the Leaky Cauldron and walked aimlessly through the crowds.
The week had been a productive one. Amelia, Kingsley, Moody, and Tonks had dug up some more dirt on Dumbledore, making the four even more furious with the old man then Harry could've thought possible. His relations with Tracey, Daphne, Susan, Susan's friend Hannah, and Blaise improved greatly. Hermione also got along with them as well, mainly because the Slytherins were as much a bookworm as she was. However, most of his time was spent studying Goblin etiquette, Wizarding customs and mechanics he didn't know about, and Black Ivy.
He was absolutely fascinated with his mother's notes. Over 215 charms, runes, and curses were placed on this sword. It truly was a masterpiece. He found out that if he added his blood to the blade, it would make it so that no one else could wield it. Judging by what has already happened with Dumbledore, he was glad he found that little footnote.
He was still lost in his thoughts when he ran into someone. He grunted at the sudden impact and said, "Sorry, I wasn't paying attention."
"Oh no, it's my fault," the person, a girl about eleven years old with startling red hair and hazel eyes, said. "I was too excited about something and I wasn't paying attention." She looked up at him and gasped, "Wow! You look like my dad! Same hair, glasses and everything! But, your eyes remind me of my mum's."
Harry was shocked too. She looked like his mother, save the hazel eyes. But he didn't let it bother him too much. He chuckled and said, "Funny. I was about to say you look a lot like my mum, but with my father's eyes. Interesting coincidence, huh?"
"I'll bet," the girl said. She held out her hand and said, "I'm Rose."
"Harry, nice to meet you," Harry said shaking her hand.
"Um, hey. You wouldn't happen to know anything about a private school called 'Hogwarts,' would you?" she asked uncertainly.
Harry's eyes widened slightly, but he composed himself quickly. He smiled at her and said, "Why yes, I know of Hogwarts. In fact, I'm about to enter my third year there."
She stared at him in awe. "You mean it's real?! Like, magic and riding on broomsticks and stuff like that?!" she asked excitedly.
"Calm down, calm down," he told her. "Yes, it's real. In fact, I can show you where you can get your supplies for the school year, if you want?"
She smiled. "Thank you!" she said happily.
"Rosy! Rosy, don't run off like that!" a voice scolded the eleven year old.
Rose turned and grinned. "Sorry, Mum! But I found someone who knows of this Hogwarts place!"
Harry looked up from Rose to see her mother and felt his body grow cold. His heart stopped. His blood ceased flowing.
Rose's mother had Rose's red hair. The woman also had bright green eyes. She wore a loose fitting blouse and pants. Rose's father wore glasses over his hazel eyes and had dark, seemingly untamable hair. He wore a long sleeve shirt and jeans.
Harry had seen them before. He spent countless hours studying their faces. He remembered their smiles from his first year….when they were just images in the Mirror of Erised. There, standing in front of him very much alive, were his parents.
Oh, please let this be a coincidence, PLEASE let this be a coincidence, Harry thought desperately. If these truly were his parents, then there were a hundred…no, a THOUSAND questions he wanted answered.
Rose's mother saw Harry's face first and was concerned. "Excuse me? Are you okay?" she asked sweetly.
Harry shook the cobwebs from his head and said, "Y-yeah, sorry. You...just both of you look like my parents. They've been dead since I was a baby."
Rose's father smiled sadly. "No sweat, kid," he said. "It's all good. I completely understand." He motioned to himself. "Nice to meet you, young man. I'm James Potter," he said, shocking Harry to his core. He motioned to the red headed woman and continued. "This is my wife, Lily. And you've met my daughter, Rose." He finished, clamping a hand on Rose's shoulders.
Harry could barely think straight. He stuttered out, "M-my p-parents' names are Lily and James Potter."
Their eyes widened. "You're last name is Potter, Harry?" Rose asked in amazement. She didn't know she was related to a wizard! That was awesome! She blinked for a second and asked, "Wait, did you say your parents' names were 'Lily and James?'" Harry nodded in the positive.
Lily felt a pang in her heart but wasn't sure why. Since she caught sight of Harry, she was struck with a sickening feeling of familiarity. She just rode it off as a coincidence, but now it seemed that was not the case. She also saw his eyes held a lot of emotions at the moment, but one that really stuck out…pain. Like his seeing them pained him. She could also tell he was severely malnourished. A fierce motherly instinct flowed through her veins, making her want to comfort him and burn any and all responsible for bringing him pain. She forced the instinct down until she could get some answers.
James was having a similar reaction. He decided on the best course of action to get answers: ask questions. "Harry," James asked carefully, "when exactly did your parents die?"
Harry looked at him curiously until he said, "Twelve years ago, on Halloween night. I was a year old then."
Lily gasped while Rose went wide eyed. "Mum! Isn't that when my older brother died?" she questioned.
Harry paled at the possibilities this could open. "You-you had a son?" he asked fearfully, like he was afraid of the answer.
Lily nodded shakily. "Yes, my eldest. Hi…his name was Harry as well," she said, making Harry wide eyed. "Someone attacked James and me that night. We were knocked unconscious and when we woke up…" She forced herself not to get emotional. "Harry was gone. We tried to look for him, but we were told by one officer one day that they found his body, decayed beyond recognition." She forced her tears down as Harry went pale again, before he narrowed his eyes.
"This…officer," Harry stressed out the word, "what did he look like?" He wanted to confirm his suspicions. If they were false, he could jot this down as a coincidence. If it was proven true…well, he sure hoped Amelia could stun him quick enough.
James looked confused before answering. "He was an older gentleman. He had a long white beard and these horrible twinkling eyes. How is that even possible?"
Suddenly, they felt a powerful pressure pressing down on their shoulders. Harry quickly reined in his magic and said, "Sorry. Just that…you might have just confirmed what I am thinking of."
"W-what's that?" Rose asked. She was amazed at what he did, but it was very scary.
Harry shook his head and said, "Just come with me. I know some people who can clear up this mess."
He quickly and quietly led them into a private room in the Leaky Cauldron. It was easy considering there were very few people in it. "Stay here," he told them. "If someone sees you, well, I'm not sure what would happen. You see, my parents are kinda famous in the Wizarding World. It could cause you guys some unwanted trouble if they mistake you for them. I'll grab those guys I told you about right quick and we'll sort this out."
James nodded. He still didn't know what was going on, but he had a feeling he could trust Harry. "We understand."
Harry nodded and pulled out his wand. He placed it on the menu and with a pop, a tea pot and glasses appeared. The three others' eyes widened. "Refreshments," Harry said.
He closed the door and ran to the fireplace. He grabbed a handful of Floo powder and threw it into the fireplace. The green flames erupted and he said, "Hogwarts School, Potions lab!" He stuck his head through and shouted, "Professor! Professor, you there?!"
Severus had been sitting at his desk when his fireplace flared up. He walked over to it when he heard Harry's distressed voice. "Potter," he said, "what's wrong?"
"I need you to come to the Leaky Cauldron quickly! There's something that has come up and it's…it's hard to explain. I need your help!"
Severus didn't like the sound of that. Recently, he learned Dumbledore knew Harry wasn't at the Dursleys, and his tracking charms were gone, but so far hasn't done anything about it. What if Dumbledore-
"I'm coming through," he said as he called out "Leaky Cauldron!" and stepped through. He came out of the fireplace to see Harry was pale white, well, paler than usual. He also had a haunted look about him. Snape raised an eyebrow and asked, "What is it?"
Just then, another fireplace flared and Amelia stepped out. She saw Snape and raised an eyebrow. She looked at Harry's expression and knew something was wrong. "What's going on?"
Harry shook his head and said, "Just follow me. There's something I need sorted out."
Both adults raised an eyebrow as they followed the black haired youth to a private room. They walked in and both gasped in surprise. The three occupants looked up at the new comers.
"Harry," Lily asked, "are these the people you were talking about?"
"Yes," Harry said. He turned to the shell-shocked duo and said, "I was waiting on Miss Amelia and I decided to walk around outside the Leaky Cauldron for a while. I ran into Rose" he motioned towards the little red head "and met James and Lily." He motioned to the two elder Potters in the room. "They say their names are James and Lily Potter, and they also had a son that died the same night that my parents died." He shook his head violently and said, "I think they might be my parents, but with memory charms blocking their memories. I don't know, but I need to be sure." He looked desperate. Desperate for any answer.
Snape shook his head quickly and nodded to Harry. He pulled out his wand and walked over to Lily and said, "L-Mrs. Potter, this won't hurt. I'm just going to use a spell to check your mind for memory charms or alterations. May I?"
She didn't what to do, to be honest. But, if it meant clearing up this nightmare waiting to happen, she would do so. Plus, she would get to witness magic. Bonus. She nodded stiffly.
Snape nodded and muttered a spell, Amelia doing the same for James after she placed some privacy charms around the room. Harry was waiting with baited breath. This was it. The moment of truth.
Suddenly, Amelia yelled loudly and stamped her foot. "That bloody, horrible….Ugh! There are no words to describe this or HIM!" she shouted hatefully, startling Rose and Harry.
Snape wasn't much better. He snarled like a wild animal and said, "I'm going to poison Dumbledore's bloody Lemon Drops after this!"
"I was right, wasn't I?" Harry asked. "They're my-"
"Yes, Harry," Snape said, using his name. "These are your parents. Dumbledore has just shown us how far he's willing to go for his 'Greater Good.'" He spat out the last part. James and Lily were shocked. Someone messed with their memories? And what's more, this didn't seem like the first time this Dumbledore did something like this.
"If nothing else, I could have Dumbledore removed from all of his positions for this," Amelia growled.
"Excuse me, but can these 'memory charms' be removed?" Lily asked. She really didn't like the thought of her memories being tampered with.
Snape nodded. "Yes, but yours will be a lot harder, Mrs. Potter," Snape said. "Before the memory charms were put in place, you were a master Occlumens, a wizard who was capable of shielding their mind for unwanted intrusions. It seems Dumbledore use this to his advantage and forced your mental shields to hold your memories in place." Snape turned to Harry and said, "Harry, I need you to retrieve Black Ivy. With it, we might be able to use its anti-magic capabilities to breach her shields for a split second and free her memories."
Harry nodded and called out, "Dobby!"
A loud *CRACK* was heard and Dobby appeared before Harry, shocking the three clueless Potters. "Master Harry Potter called Dobby?!" he asked enthusiastically.
"Bring me Black Ivy please," Harry said.
Dobby nodded and disappeared. A second later, Dobby appeared with Black Ivy and, for some odd reason, Padfoot. After Harry found the dog, he followed him around everywhere. He left him at Amelia's because he was sure the black dog would attack the Dursleys if he accompanied Harry there.
The large Grim dog rushed Harry and nearly knocked him over. Harry laughed as the dog began licking him uncontrollably. "Hey, Padfoot stop it! Yeah! I missed you too, you mangy mutt! Get off!" He finally pushed him off. Padfoot looked at him, tail wagging wildly behind him.
"Dobby is sorry, Master Harry Potter, sir," the House Elf said remorsefully. "But big black dog wouldn't let go of Master Harry Potter's sword until Dobby agreed to take him too. Dobby is a bad elf!"
Dobby was about to hit himself with Black Ivy before Harry jerked it from him. "Stop that, Dobby! It wasn't your fault! I don't blame you. Thanks again for bringing it here. You can take the rest of the day off."
Dobby's eyes widened as he started to wail. "Master Harry Potter is such a kind, gentle master!"
Harry rolled his eyes as the House Elf disappeared again. He turned and Rose asked, "What was that?!"
"A House Elf," Amelia answered. "I'll explain after we rid your parents of their memory blocks, Miss Potter."
Padfoot had walked passed Harry and caught sight of the three Potters. Padfoot barked happily as he jumped James, licking his face happily.
"Hahahaha! Okay! Okay, boy. Down, down," James said trying to control the dog.
The dog relented after that. Snape raised an eyebrow at that, but shook his head turned to Harry. "Harry, I need you to listen with no interruptions. I want you to swing Black Ivy at Mrs. Potter's head-"
"WHAT?!" every Potter in the room screamed.
"-while using the finite charm," Snape finished, as if he wasn't interrupted. "Black Ivy is the only weapon strong enough to free your mother's memories. Going in with Legilimency is too risky. It might harm her psyche that way. I know it seems horrible, but it will help her remember."
Harry gritted his teeth. He really didn't want to swing Black Ivy at his mother's head! However…he wanted his mum back. He looked down at Black Ivy and then at Lily. "I-I'll let you decide," he said.
Lily weighed her options. None seemed too great. On the one hand, the boy who might just be a son she had thought to be dead would be swinging a sword at her head to somehow free her memories. On the other, the other didn't seem pain-free either. She looked at Harry again. "I…I trust you," she said finally.
"Lily! Are you sure?" James asked. Rose stayed quiet. She trusted her mother. And that meant she trusted Harry. It was that simple for her.
Lily nodded stiffly. "I want my memories back," she said. "And if they think this 'anti-magic' sword can bring them back, I'll try it."
James was still concerned, but he felt he could trust Harry. He nodded stiffly as well.
"I'll use Legilimency to free Potter's memories," Snape said with a small sneer. He may have put his demons to rest, but he still had some animosity towards this Potter. He turned to Harry and said, "Remember to use the finite spell when swinging."
Harry nodded. He took Black Ivy out of its sheath and held it high above his head. "You ready?" he asked.
Lily nodded. She braced herself for what could happen. As Snape called out his spell, Harry said, "Finite Incantantum!" and brought the sword down, flying through Lily's skull like it wasn't even there, but it did have an effect.
Lily fell to her knees screaming in agony. Her memories came back in full force. Her Hogwarts letter. Her first train ride. Marrying James. Bringing Harry home for the first time. Her and James preparing to leave for Potter Manor when Voldemort attacked. And Dumbledore erasing her memories of her son.
You vile, sickening, horrible old fool! she thought demonically. I'll tear you limb from limb! I'll disembowel you with a rusty spoon! I'll dig your damn twinkling eyes out their sockets with damn TEA CUP! And that was just for tampering with her memories. No one screwed with her mind. NOBODY. No, all that paled and died tragically in comparison to the tortures she had in mind for him taking her son, her baby boy, away from her.
James wasn't any better. As his memories came racing back, he felt Prongs was ready to impale a certain old fart. He gritted his teeth and contemplated how to torture Dumbledore first. It was a toss-up between feeding him to a bunch of Basilisks he would Transfigure in the old coot's bed and pushing him through an Industrial Food Processors he saw one time in Muggle London while on a date with Lily.
Harry had run up to Lily's side as soon as she began to scream. Rose ran to her father. Lily's screaming subsided and Harry shook her gently. "Um, Mum?" he asked tentatively.
Lily's head shot up and stared at Harry. Her eyes began to water as she pulled him into a bone shattering hug. "Harry! My dear sweet boy, I'm so sorry! I sorry I couldn't be there for you!" she cried as she held him tightly.
Harry had winced when she grabbed him, which only made her tighten her grip. He felt his eyes water. His own mother was hugging him! HUGGING HIM! He had dreamed of this for so long it felt like an eternity! It felt good, to be hugged by her. Much more enjoyable than Mrs. Weasley's hugs. Nothing against the woman (yet), but her hugs were smothering. Lily's felt…just right.
James turned and smiled at them. He and Rose came up and joined the hug, all of them crying. James because of all the emotions coursing through his veins and Rose because she had just found out she had a brother that someone was keeping away from her and her family. She couldn't comprehend why someone would do that. Padfoot strolled over and rubbed his head against the reunited family.
Snape and Amelia smiled. Harry finally had a family. The family he was supposed to have. Amelia felt happy for them. Snape was happy too, but mostly he felt dread. If Lily was alive, it meant his punishment he would've received in the afterlife was coming very, very soon.
Oh, how he hated his life sometimes.
An: And that's it. Review and tell me what you think. Just remember, YOU GUYS voted on this plot twist. Sorry if you don't like it, and if you do like it, I apologize if it seems rushed or cliché or something like that. But at least you guys got to see a bit of Black Ivy in action!
This is what each of the plot twists would've done:
Unexpected turn: Harry and Snape, somehow I wasn't really sure, found the real Dumbledore is tied up in an abandoned insane asylum and Grindlewald was masquerading as the Hogwarts Headmaster.
One more reason to hate Dumbledore- Harry finds out that Petunia and Vernon were placed under spells to make them hate him.
"This manipulation is the last nail in your coffin…Dumbledore!"- Harry discovers his parents had their memories erased by Dumbledore and he has an eleven year old sister now.
'Till next time!
