This will be rough, but I'm gonna do this … without having watched the movie. You can kill me for it later if you want. I own nothing other than my OC! Enjoy!
A Deals A Deal
Sora's P.O.V
After getting back on the gummi, I set the course to Port Royal, and went to talk with Antonio about his friend. I found him in one of the lower parts of the gummi, trying to fix up some bandages on his arm when I walked in.
Sora: I hope this isn't a bad time?
Antonio: Oh, no problem.
He finished his handiwork and pulled the sleeve down his arm.
Sora: Are your wounds finally healing?
Antonio: Slowly. They would heal faster if I had the right bandages. Anyway, what did you need, Sora?
Sora: You mentioned your friend while we were still at the castle. What is your friend like?
He thought about it for a second before taking a seat in a chair, and I joined him in the opposite chair.
Antonio: Well, where should I begin?
?'s P.O.V, Antonio Voice Over
A girl runs through a now pirate and fire filled town, and is being chased by four large brutes.
Antonio: She's the same age I am, as tall as I am, but has cream white skin, focused orange eyes, light green hair reaching as far as her waist with a brown hair band. She wears a white shirt, dark blue skirt up to her knees, brown combat boots and brown jacket that reaches her boots.
?: Just leave me alone!
The girl grabs five yellow crystal from a pouch on her side, loading them into a cylinder like device with a shield attached to it, firing it caused a row of wooden spikes to appear from the ground, blocking their path.
Brute: You little wench!
The girl quickly ran into a back alley in hopes of losing the pirates, the spike barrier wouldn't hold them for long.
Antonio: She uses the science of alchemy as her weapon, using devices called Cylinders to use the power of the elements in crystal form. I'm not sure if you were told, but she's is the student of one of the four vates, or masters of alchemy. She is very skilled … despite her shyness.
?:Student of the Vate!
The girl reached the end of the alley, only to be stopped by an entire crew of skeleton pirates. She was surrounded. A man walked out from behind the crew of skeletons, and in an instant, the girl's anger had been unleashed.
?:You! You're the reason this happened!
The girl loaded five red crystals into the cylinder.
Sethes: Are you quite sure I'm the reason?
?: Who else would it be? You separated us from each other and Erinn! All of the people still there, what did you do to them?!
Sethes: Don't worry, I've done nothing to them … yet.
The girl rushed forward, cylinder first, firing an explosion of flames directly at the large man.
This accomplished nothing as the man purely stood there, but with his cloak burned off, revealing a large set of armor with the red blade holstered on his back, flowing with shadows.
Sethes: You'll need more than just your guard cylinder. Especially when your cylinders are broken.
The girl jumped back before starting to glow in a strange white light.
Antonio: Her name …
She summoned a large celestial like spear while transparent wings appeared behind her.
Antonio: … is Galena.
A clash of Light and Dark appeared in the town.
Sora's P.O.V
He finished his story by taking a swig of milk from a bottle he got from nowhere.
Sora: Wow … you know a lot about this Galena.
Antonio: I've known her ever since we first came to Erinn, as well as another. We've been the best of friends; people have even called us siblings. However …
He was silent as I noticed that we're above orbit of the Caribbean Sea.
Sora: I can tell you care a lot for her, we'll do all we can to find her and your other friend.
I saw a small smile across his face while I headed towards the door.
Antonio: Thanks, Sora.
Walking back to the cockpit of the gummi, I saw that Lea talking with Kairi.
Lea: Hey Sora, where do you think we should land?
Sora: Let's see … wait a minute, this doesn't look like Port Royal.
Lea: I thought you said this place was filled with pirates, this town just looks plain out boring!
Sora: Hmm, we'll have to go and look for Jack Sparrow, maybe he's seen something.
Kairi: Wasn't he the one that wanted the keyblade?
Kairi said, summoning her blade.
Sora: Ah, he's alright when you get to know him.
Antonio came into the room with a bold blue detective hat.
Antonio: Well then, we'll just have to find him. We'll have to look out for any Fomor as well.
Sora: The same with Heartless. Let's get to work.
I showed Antonio to the Teleport Pads, while Lea and Kairi already went on ahead. He took a bold step on one of the pads.
Sora: Oh wait, how are you with skydiving?
Antonio: Uh, sky-what?
He already teleported out of the ship.
Antonio's P.O.V
This is why my detective's intuition told me to wait for what he had to say, did I listen? Not at all. I found myself falling towards the sea at fast speeds, Lea and Kairi ahead of me taking care of what looks like flying monsters, they're not fomor … heartless? Unlike them, who clearly had practice in sky diving, I had no idea what I was doing and was flailing like an idiot.
Sora: Antonio!
Sora flew faster in order to catch up to me.
Sora:Try and keep a straight path till we get to the ground! We'll take care of the heartless!
He flew on ahead, while I tried to keep on path. I noticed cutlasses, pistols, ships, and pirate flags alike as we were falling closer to the world, as well as pirate looking heartless. Two heartless came flying towards me, faster than anything I've seen, and yet I still reacted. My eyes flashed green and my key bars came to my wrists. Key Bars … yeah, almost like their keyblades. I flung my bars off my wrists, latching onto the two heartless, and put all my strength into putting them under control, manipulating them with my fingertips.
Antonio: Yahoo!
I flew past the warriors and confronted a large group of heartless, another flash of green passing while I flew forward and twisted my fingers, spinning myself and the heartless into a small tornado, throwing them out of the stream and into space. The Heartless I controlled were destroyed and my key bars reappeared on my wrists … while I continued to flail like an idiot as we descended to the world. The warriors caught up with me, not looking surprised. I think I've surprised them enough that it doesn't even faze them anymore.
Kairi: That was awesome! But, listen to skydiving tutorials before going and jumping out, alright?!
Kairi asked while Sora and Lea gave a thumbs up.
Antonio: You got it!
We continued to fall … straight into the ocean.
Sometime later …
We ended up getting picked up by some fishermen who were passing by, and then took us back to the nearby then ran off somewhere. But there's another problem to deal with. It's only me and Lea right now, Sora and Kairi were nowhere to be found. I only hope they're alright …
Lea: Hey, Toni! Think I found out something useful!
Lea came up to me with a map of the town; apparently we were in a place called London.
Antonio: What's the circle here for?
Lea: I heard from some of the citizens talking about an explosion occurring just last night before our arrival. There's some stuff left behind there, nothing this world has ever seen before.
Antonio: Sounds like our place to be, lets go!
The towns people looked very sophisticated, however they paid me no mind because of my detective wear, Lea … he just stuck out. We had reached the explosion site, Lea was right, something about this place just seemed … familiar to me, but different to everyone else. Guards with rifles stood in front of the site. Maybe asking politely will get us by.
Antonio: Excuse me, good sirs? Do you know what happened here?
Guard #1: We are not in liberty to say, young man. Everything beyond this point is currently being inspected.
Guard #2: If your try getting by us, you will be arrested on sight!
Antonio: I understand, thank you very much!
Walking back over to Lea, I let out a deep sigh.
Antonio: Ugh … I know the law is to be respected, but in terms like this, the law is just MEANT to be broken.
Lea: We'll have to find a way around them somehow … do you think knocking them out is a valid option?
Antonio: No, it is not! Dang it, Lea!
Lea: That's my name, got it memorized?
Antonio: Yes!
I hit myself in the face …
Antonio: Wait a minute, don't you know magic? Isn't there some kind of sleep magic?
Lea: There is sleep magic, but … I haven't gotten around to it just yet.
I hit myself in the face again …
Antonio: Alright, let's see if I have something useful.
I started pulling random items out of my pouch. Dice … no, firewood … why do I even have these with me? Ah ha!
I took out a light blue lyre from my pouch, while Lea once again was astounded.
Lea: Where do you keep all of that stuff!
Antonio: Magic pouch! Why? You don't have one?
Lea: No! I don't have one because I'm not Milletian!
Antonio: Oh … right.
Lea: And why a lyre of all things? How would that help us get by the guards?
Antonio: You learn some things while on Erinn …
Touching the strings, I felt an odd feeling, one I haven't felt in a while, and another that was new …
Great Spirit: The Music chain broke ever so slightly, and only three songs have been released. Keep at it …
One of them is all I'll need.
Antonio: Lea, cover your ears, and don't let go until I give the ok!
Lea: Uh, alright!
Out of sight of the guards, I started playing a soft melody, its sound echoing throughout the alley and over to the guards, to the point of which the guards started getting sleepy, and both knocked out. The same with any citizens nearby. Oh well, I have work to do. I waved a Lea to come over while I quietly ran past the sleeping guards, they won't be asleep for long.
Antonio: Magic music, it does wonders, Lea.
Lea: Interesting …
Antonio: Now then, let's see what we can fi-
I stopped at the sight of a spear wedged in the ground, as well as a shield lying next to it. That was all I needed to know.
Antonio: No … no, no, no!
Lea: What? What is that?
Antonio: This …
Picking up the shield, it was revealed to have a cylinder attached to the left side. It itself looks very expensive. This is Gale's Rebis Guard Cylinder, used for advanced alchemy …
Antonio: If these are here … then she's in big trouble …
Lea tried pulling the spear out from the ground, but it didn't budge at all.
Lea: What is this thing made of?!
Antonio: Not everyone can use this, let alone pick it up.
I grabbed it and picked it up with no effort whatsoever.
Antonio: Only those with powers of a god can wield the Holy Sword … Brionac.
A slight holy light enveloped around me, with black feathers falling me, as well as transparent wings appearing at my back.
Lea: What the …
Antonio: Only Galena should use this legendary weapon, I have no use of it.
I put it back in my pouch for safe keeping, and my god status disappeared as well.
Lea: Why not stay in god tier? It would help us out a lot!
Antonio: I've always hated using my power of awakening, it's too powerful … and to be honest … I can't control it. If I stay in that form for longer than five minutes, I can lose control and go on a rampage. Gale has more control over it as for her affiliation with the Goddess of Light. I have affiliation with the Goddess of War and Vengeance, which is more destructive than anything.
Lea: Oh … I see. Sorry for bringing it up then.
Antonio: It's no problem. Now ... time for some tracking.
My eyes started glowing a brighter red on Gale's Guard Cylinder. I can see the links of items and their owners. Items such as a Guard Cylinder are soul locked to its owners once received. It went out … to sea.
Antonio: Lea … we're gonna need a boat.
Lea: Ah, great.
?: Halt!
The guards woke up, and they brought friends.
Antonio + Lea: Ah, great!
Gale's P.O.V
Well, this is just great. I went and got myself caught. While fighting Sethes, he used the power of the unholy sword, Tyrfing, to almost steal all of my power. I've never felt this weak before, not even starting out on Erinn … I wonder what happened to Antonio and big sis … I know sis can handle herself, but Toni … I hope he's alright. Now … how to get out of here …
?: It was just as Sethes thought, Blackbeard! The detective has found Brionac and is currently following our trail.
Blackbeard: Good … as for the rest of what we've discussed …
?: Don't worry, I will help you get a mermaid as we planned! All you have to do is rid us of the two Milletians!
Blackbeard..? A mermaid? Just what world am I in – world. I'm in another world. If that's the case then … we can die …
Blackbeard: Head for Whitecap Bay! Full Sail!
Crewman: Captain! Lookout has spotted two people at sea!
Blackbeard: So what? Pass them by!
Crewman: That's just it, Captain … Jack already knows of this, and he claims to know one of them, says he would be useful.
Blackbeard: … Damn that … Fine then, go ahead, bring them up! Just let Jack know he's not getting any food for the night!
…
All gone quiet … from what he said, I'm on a ship, so jumping overboard is not a good option …
Getting up, I got a better look of where I was, a medium sized room with only one door out, no doubt locked and being guarded, and a window showing a wide open sky. What I failed to notice before was that my hands were tied. They probably only put me in this room because they weren't accounting for prisoners..? Wait … whoever this Blackbeard was talking to, they said rid of the two Milletians, and detective..!
Gale: Antonio's here?!
A loud bang followed on the other side of the door.
Grunt: Keep it down in there! You little wench …
Hmph! I sat back down on the floor, just out of spite and somewhat of happiness. At least I know he's alive.
Sora's P.O.V
Whoever's ship this is, they helped us out of a jam! Kairi and I ended up separated from Lea and Antonio, and we ended up on some wreckage, from what, we're not sure. Soon after they helped us on board, however, they all pointed flintlocks and cutlasses at the both of us. A large man with a black beard walked up to us and pointed a flintlock right at my head.
Blackbeard: Alright, lad, you have five ticks to tell us why you and this lassie were out at sea!
Sora: I'm sorry to say, but I don't know as much as you do!
I summoned the keyblade and pointed the tip right at his neck.
?: Hold on a moment, matey. You don't want to do that, Sora.
A familiar voice came from the pirate crew, pushing away their weapons.
Sora: Jack! I've been looking for you!
Jack: Me of all people? Well, you've caught me at a bad time, as you can see.
He says, looking over at the guy holding the gun to my face.
Kairi: Um, do you think we can just talk this over, without weapons involved?!
Blackbeard: Now be not the time for this! Jack, they be your responsibility!
Jack: Aye!
Blackbeard took the gun away from my head, only to be replaced with another gun behind my head, the same with Kairi.
Jack: Forgive me for doing this, mates, but I have no choice but to do this. Take them to the brig, we'll talk later. Be sure to tie them up good, ya scallywags, the lad's a crafty one!
The pirates swiftly took us to the lower floors of the ship, passed by a strange blue haired girl with a mask and flute, tied us both together, then tossed us into an empty room.
Kairi: Ow … Sora, is Jack normally like this?
Sora: Uh … sometimes, though I've never seen him take orders from someone else …
?: Huh?
Turns out that we weren't alone in the room, there was someone sitting on the wall next to the window, a girl with green hair.
Sora: Um, excuse me?
The girl moved slightly further away from us, while we got up to sit.
Kairi: Why are you in here? You don't look like you'd do anything wrong.
?: The problem isn't if I did anything wrong …, it's what I am …
Sora: What..?
?: I'm not sure what you two have to do in this …
Sora: I'm friends with one of the pirates, but it looks like we have to be stuck in here to talk to him. What about you?
?: At this point, I believe I'm here for two reasons. One, to be bait to a friend, and to die along with that friend.
Sora: Oh … sorry …
?: It's alright …
Kairi: No, its not!
She had scared me with the sudden outburst.
Kairi: You can't just let them kill you!
?: There isn't much that I can do, my weapons are either broken or back in that town …
Kairi: But you don't want your friend to die either, right?
?: Of course not! He's … important to me …
….
She had stayed quiet after saying that. It sounded like it was something she didn't want to say out loud …
Sora: Sorry … listen, why don't you tell us your name? I'm Sora.
Kairi: I'm Kairi!
?: … Galena …
Galena?
Meanwhile …
Antonio's P.O.V
Well, well, what have we here?
After a good thirty minute chase around the city, the guards caught me while Axel got away. I assume he went back to the gummi, and did not just abandon me to another extent of the law that is possible – never mind, will kill me with gallows. The guards took me and a slowly balding man in front of the gallows, but the man was stopped by a man in a privateer outfit and a missing leg replaced with a peg leg. He couldn't give less of a damn about me, until I listened in on their conversation, it seemed like they were going out to sea for something, just what I needed.
Antonio: Wait!
Privateer: What? Who do you think you be, lad? You entered restricted area even after getting warning from the guards. Even more the items being investigated were missing after you arrived!
Antonio: I have a keen eye; I could help you find the place you're looking for!
Privateer: Boy, you have no idea what we're looking for!
Antonio: Please, just give me a name!
The Privateer pondered for a moment, then walked over to the balding man before coming back to me.
Privateer: Fine then, keep well in mind you only has one go.
Whitecap Bay …
Antonio: Alright … One moment please.
I walked out past the gallows and my eyes glowed a pure purple, I saw far past the sea itself, following along a trail, past a ship close by to a island … Whitecap Bay …
I pointed over in the direction of the island, while the Privateer walked back to the balding man, and back to me in a hurry.
Privateer: By order of me, Hector Barbossa, Welcome to His Majesty's Navy, Master …
Antonio: Antonio, Detective Antonio.
I had faced a … magical incident a while back, then whenever I needed to find something, all I needed was a name, and I could find where it was. Of course, there is a huge side effect, a harsh pain and temporary blindness for say … five hours? I ended up slumping to the ground before my sight faded.
Barbossa: What's your problem, now?
Antonio: Its nothing … just … lost my sight. Its only temporary, don't worry.
Barbossa: As long as it comes back, I don't care! Master Gibbs, help him aboard! We set sail soon!
I assumed the balding man was Gibbs. He helped me get on board and I took a seat … I don't even know where, I have to rely on everything else for now.
Gibbs: Why did you want to come along on this, boy? This may well cost your life!
Antonio: I have my reasons, Mister Gibbs. I have my reasons …
Whatever this … Whitecap Bay is, it'll lead me straight to Gale, and hopefully to Sora and Kairi too. Although, I couldn't help but notice something … off, about this Barbossa. I felt … an evil force surrounding him …
End of Part 1.
Two things.
Is this writing style any better than before?
How much trouble am I in for not posting anything for how many months and trying to do this while not watching the movie enough times?
I imagine I'm in a lot of trouble … oh god … =.=
