Azusa P.O.V

I've been wondering the building for ages already… I sure wonder where this Tetsuya guy is at, how does he even look like, anyways? I had pondered about those words that Magari-sama had spoken and the task that she had already given to me. "Listen, that boy isn't just really any common boy that would use the Book of Shadows nor come along that Shinozaki girl that had been only seen coming to this world with Kishinuma. Follow him, and befriend him. If you can find any leads of the Book of Shadows from him, it would be perfect. Take this as a redeeming for your mistakes; wanting to kill off our target to obtain information back in Heavenly Host…"

Maybe I wouldn't have made that mistake if I knew I were to being sent into these kind of missions, I want to be actually loyal to a certain someone… If this Tetsuya guy seemed promising, I would take him out for a spin, no doubt… I arranged my blonde hair and stopping for a short while before continuing moving forward. The surroundings certainly weren't wicked, and it somehow wanted to represent innocence and sorrow at the same time, the one who had took care of this place must have been all alone.

I attempted entering a room through the use of my Illegal Cross, a charm that the cult had given to me; I am its suitable user after all. My eye that was concealed by my hair glowed red for a short while, and the activation of the spell was indicated through the unlocking of the door. The room was full of lilies, and light wind can be felt as the breeze brushed through the flowers; its white yet pure petals scattering everywhere with the wind being its companion. Upon close observation, I can see someone—

The person was cloaked with a black and white combined stripes that were displayed throughout the actual clothe, displaying the melancholic feelings that I can feel throughout the halls. "Who… are you?" I asked, getting close to the boy as he waters his lilies and calmly looked at me, and his mouth widened a little before went back to a straight face again.

"Azusa Takai, member of Tomb of Martuva; what are you doing here in my personal castle? I presumed you got into here without properly getting my Memoirs that were scattered throughout the tower." H-How!? How did this boy know that I am a member of the Tomb!? This isn't good, he may be a spirit! I had to exorcist him, or dispose of him in this instant! I backed off and maintained a proper distance from the spirit, and made sure to use a charm and I chanted the spells.

Dark flames burned and were blasted towards him, yet he watched the actual projectiles flew to him without any actual emotion. "Lilium - Amplexus." Wha, what was he chanting? A big projection, taking on the shape of a lily that was planted on the ground emerged in front of the emotionless lad and took my attack straight on. My attack didn't work!

"Lilium – Impetus." The panels below him had scattered open like how flowers would, several rock cracks emerged from the broken grounds. All of the cracks reshaped themselves into pointy edges and was thrown at me, which I responded by scattering black sand Magari-sama gave me, and through the use of actual runes; summoned a barrier to protect me. All three of them strike the barrier, causing it to shatter and me blown backwards.

"Iyaaaah!" I gave a high pitched scream as I landed on the ground, the knockback of the barrier shattering and the attack was surely too high as I ended up almost on the edge of the room. "Lilium – Impetus." Oh, no… I'm out of luck, my leg is sprained, I can't afford to stand up; don't even mention guarding myself from the onslaught of attacks… this is it, for me…?

The projectiles were hauled at me once again, four at once. As they close in, I can hear someone yelling and dashing from the door which I've entered from—!

"ROOOOOOOOOOOOAGGH!"

The boy with blue-ish hair and a black stream of hair, wielding two blades that has the themes of Yin and Yang; rushed forward and cut down the four projectiles with his two blades simultaneously without error. The shards didn't even interact with me even a little, and I was amazed by his blade works.

The boy in the monochrome cloak smirked, and just walked away and vanished to the next room while muttering something about tea time. "T-Thanks for saving me back there." I hurried and thanked the youth; he sure saved me from having a cruel demise with those blades of his. If he hadn't appeared in time, who knows what could have possibly happen to me?

"No worries. Are you hurt?" The boy gave me a hand to latch on while I tried, and my foot just made me unable to stand up properly. "U-Urrrghh… I think I-I sprained my ankle…" The boy noticed and took some bandages from his pocket to treat me up, and helped me walk through the hallways.

"Speaking of which, how did you manage to get all the way here?" I asked the boy who was carrying me, and he looked at me with a weirded-out look. "Wait, before I answer your question; how did you get here and went past the doors that had been blocking the way to proceed?" Oh, no… this is tricky…

"Um, I had help from a friend. He and I separated so I ended up in that room." The boy was naïve enough to believe me, but the innocence part wasn't so bad. He could be trusted, and may be my way out of here.

"I see, well, there was a restroom not far behind, so we can head there and rest. Your foot is sprained, so I better get some medical items to treat you and make you able to walk in a much smoother matter." Leading me to the room he had described, he laid me down on the bed while he went and flicker around items in the cabinet to find something to help me.

"Aha!"
Tetsuya found Rubbing Oil.

"This'll make you feel better- uhhhhhhh." His face literally became red when his palms came into contact to my skin, my face felt hot too when he did so. "It's okay. Go on, or are my legs too rough for you?" Whoa! His face was so red, its like he's on fire! I should probably tone down on the actual teasing… "N-No!" He quickly muttered and without trying to explain for himself; applying the medicine for me. I intentionally sighed from time to time when he had applied the medicine, and I can see him nosebleed. Oh, lord… he's so cute.

"D-D-D-D-D-Done!" He placed the oil back into the cabinet and lied down on another bed in the room, facing the opposite direction so that he can hide his actual embarrassment. I am embarrassed as well, but I couldn't help but giggle at how cute he is to have such an amusing reaction. I laid my hands on the pillow and started to snore silently, falling asleep.

"Mnnnhh…" Groaning a little after waking from my slight nap, I can see the boy was having food- wait, what? Food? In here? That's a bento box… I never imagined despite the towerkeeper's wrath, he actually kept food here for the people that stay here for resources… "Hey, I left some food for you! Go and eat it before it becomes cold!" The boy called out to me, while taking care of his stuff on his side of the bed.

He didn't eat anything… did he purposely left all of these food for me? Nevertheless, I finished it whether he had intended to leave the food for me or not. "What are those blades?" I pointed at the black and white blades, they have an actual aura shimmering and I can feel them coursing through me, bringing a feeling of purging. "These are Toshio and Miki, they are my blades that was left by my dad and mom as an artifact. I thought they would be useful, so I brought them along and I was here without myself knowing what I did."

Thinking of a lie to make him not doubt me, I decided to tell him it was a summer camp thing and I was somehow transported here. "Don't worry; I won't force you to tell me if it was hard on you." The boy suddenly interrupted me from my inner thoughts and went back to the process of polishing his blades slowly. I nodded slowly and trying to understand why he had said that, and continued watched his works.

"Whew, I'm done! Let's go!" Finishing up, we started to wander around the various rooms of this tower. Along the journey, he had told me about how Memoirs work, and warned me to not barge in any doors without actually finding the right Memoir to get past the actual doors. "So this is like a puzzle thing?" I asked, wanting to know how the actual system works. "This isn't any fun puzzle…"

We started to move along with the hallways, and find pieces of Memoirs to open doors and get past them without triggering any sort of anger since the towerkeeper is a very malevolent spirit. I decided that it would be best to hide the fact that I have actual powers to fight and defend myself, as well as me being a certain member of the dark cult from him. We reached a room, again, filled with liles. The boy went and take a look at the clue that was give on the grave.

~A certain memory of b_ray_~

"Is is a Blu-Ray disk?" His sudden humor got me chuckling a little, and we went to check if there's actually any Memoir that we can find and use to unlock the gates. The boy had seen one, and triggered it before I can see the name of the person that was engraved on the gravestone before the world around us had whitened out.

Oh god… it's about that certain memory of my plans being revealed; beating up Ran and causing distrust amongst everyone, and my disloyalty towards those boys that was being played… don't tell me this is my Memoir… I don't know what I had to say when that boy watched on with what the Memoir was showing, and I felt awkward and embarrassed.

The Memoir ended, the boy just simply picked up the Memoir and walked towards the door and wanted to insert the memory piece that he had already taken. "Wait." I told him to stop, and he looked at me with an innocent look on his face; it's as if he didn't see anything that was shown to him, did he have bad memory?

"You… saw everything, didn't you…? What happens, if I betrayed you like that? Would you lose trust towards me and leave me in the dark corridors of solitude yet again…? Though, I don't really expect much from my acts… I know; I just met you… I'm just saying what if, that's all…" I was nervous when I had asked him that, I knew I just met him but, I really felt attached to the boy! Call me cheating, but… I'm not really sure…

"Well, I don't really think that is really an awkward matter… I just have to bring myself and trust you again, if that is the case and that would had happened in our journey finding myself, yours and my friends a way out of here!" The boy gave me a little grin, and opened the door. Even though our height and mindset has differences, I think…

I never had thought about opportunities from when I had met this boy, didn't I?

Hang on, boy… I promise, we'll get out of this place alive! Us, both!
