Why Would There Be Warts On Hogs?

A/N: Yay! Two chapters in one day. I will say one thing though; the song that Aura's listening too will be important later, maybe… Well off we go them! And by the way, another corny title. He he

A/N2: 10 points to anyone who can tell me the name of the song!

Everyone was half way through the ride on the Hogwarts express, it was a bit dark, and the sun had just set. Aurora had her legs tucked into her chest as she looked out of the window at the land scape. Hermione was looking at the Daily Prophet. Ron was buying something and Harry was looking at a girl. This Aurora noticed and she rolled her eyes as Harry sat down.

"She's not even that pretty," Aurora said barley auiable.

"What?" Harry asked, Aurora just shook her head.

"Can you believe this? They still don't know who did it," Hermione asked. Aurora rolled her eyes, it was all Hermione would talk about; "You know, Sirius would want to know about this. You did tell him about Aura too right?"

"Yeah he knows about her and vice versa," Harry said as he started writing a letter.

"Have you guys seen Trevor?" Neville asked as he opened the door to their cart. Hermione shook her head, and the three out of the four people in the cart stood up.

"We'll help. Aurora, you going to stay here?" Harry asked. Aurora smiled and nodded, and then everyone pilled out. Aurora saw this the perfect time to pull out her IPod, muggle technology she got from her favorite tutor, and put the head phones in and listened to music.

After ten minutes of looking out at the scenery she heard the door click open and someone walked in, she didn't bother looking.

"Well hello again Willows," she heard an icy voice speak over the music she was listening to.

"I told you, my name isn't Willows, its Aurora, preferably Aura," she said, not taking her eyes off the scenery. Though she felt cool eyes glare at her.

"It's not polite to when you don't look at someone who's talking to you," Draco said, Aurora reluctantly looked at him; her headphones were more visible now.

"What's that in your ears then?" Draco wondered, Aurora held up her IPod. It was a smaller square one with a sort of wide screen; it was a mint green color, which was being covered by a white case.

"My IPod, and headphones." She started looking at Draco.

"What's an IPod?" Draco wondered looking closer at it.

"Whoa there big boy, you might want to back up. This is muggle technology, it might burn your precious pure-blood skin," Aurora said. Draco glared at her.

"What's it do?" he asked.

"Plays music portably," she said; "the little box thing is the IPod, it stores the music. The wire thingy that goes in my ear is called headphones. They let you hear the sound when you play a song."

"So it's portable music?" Draco asked.

"Yes, but you wouldn't care, its muggle tech," Aurora mumbled, Draco glared at her. Aurora rolled her eyes and looked back out at the scenery.

"So, what house do you think you'll be in? A first year right?" Draco asked, Aurora glared at him for assuming so.

"Fourth year actually, and probably Ravenclaw, that's what dad used to say. I have the wit and brilliance of a Ravenclaw," Aurora said.

"A fourth year?" Draco snickered, "You're so short I would never have guessed. Anyways, Slytherin is the best house."

"Whatever you say chap, I'm just going to ignore you now," Aurora said.

"That's just rude," Draco said, crossing his arm. Aurora just made her music much louder so that even he could hear it.

"I only want you to see, my favorite part of me, not my ugly side," Aurora sang in a small voice. Draco rolled his eyes and walked out of the cart.

Aurora just kept looking at the moving scenery, and soon Harry and the others walked back into the cart.

"Oh you have an IPod? But how are you going to charge it?" Hermione asked. Aurora just shrugged.

"What's an IPod?" Ron asked, Harry let out a small laugh and Hermione just told Ron not to ask.

Aurora left Harry and the gang behind and went off with the first years to get ready for the sorting. But she heard all the commitment outside and curiously tried to peak out to no avail. But before she knew it she was being walked into the great hall with the rest of the first years to get sorted.

When Aurora walked into the halls with everyone else, she looked around at the four large tables. She easily spotted her friends at the Gryffindor table and smiled at them. But then she spotted one Draco Malfoy at the Slytherin table and he smirked at her. She rolled her eyes. But then she spotted her little brother Sebastian. They locked eyes for a moment, Aurora wanted so bad to look away, but her brother's angry gaze wouldn't let her.

"Willows, Aurora," Aurora heard McGonagall call, she walked up to the professor and stood in front of the stool. She took a deep breath and sat down, the sorting hat placed on her head.

"Hmm," she heard the sorting hat say in a voice only audible to her; "Where to put you? You have a steady mind, one that can easily learn and pick up things. What is this, it's photographic, I see. You have a sharp and witty tongue, Malfoy has been bit by it hasn't he? You've read almost all the course books that are taught in all the magical school, and most of the books in Hogwarts, well copies of them.

Everything points for you to be in Ravenclaw, but you have the courage of a lion. And you will stand up for your friends. Loyalty is something that lies big in your heart. You would thrive in Ravenclaw, so why I am so content to….." the sorting hat fought with itself. By now everyone was whispering, this was the longest in a long time that the hat had taken to place a person. It had been at least five minutes.

"Girl, you belong in Ravenclaw, but I know well, there's a place you need to be. So you shall be in…" the sorting hat said softly.

"GRYFFINDOR!" it yelled. Everyone looked at each other a moment, until Harry started clapping, then all the Gryffindor's joined, McGonagall pulled the hat off of Aurora and sent her down to her table, where she sat next to Hermione, across from Ron and Harry.

"I would have thought for sure the hat would put you in Ravenclaw," Hermione said.

"It wanted to. He told me everything about me generally screamed Ravenclaw, but I needed to be in Gryffindor. Why? I have no clue," Aurora said.

There was chatter in the great hall as everyone waited for Dumbledore to start the welcome feast. But he hadn't said anything yet. But when Dumbledore started speaking about making an announcement and being chosen for something and this castle being a home, Filch strangely ran into the room and up to Dumbledore. They whispered for a moment, and then Filch ran out.

"So, Hogwarts has been chosen to host a legendary event, the Triwizard tournament. So therefore we will be going three schools, one of each school will be chosen as a champion to participate in the tournament.

Let me make this clear, those who are chosen, you stand alone. And trust me when I say these contests are not for the faint hearted. But more of that later. Now I would like you to help me introduce the esteem ladies of Beauxbatons Academy of Magic and heir headmistress Madam Maxime!" Dumbledore said.

Upon Dumbledore's speech, the doors to the great halls opened and girls in blue uniforms came strutting inside. They stopped every few steps and curtseyed. Once they stopped in front of Ron and Harry and curtsied, Ron was in trance by the girl's beauty. Hermione looked sort of angry and Aurora just rolled her eyes.

Then the girls started running a bit and stopped, as little butterflies, or birds, appeared and started running again, line by line to the front table, stopping before Dumbledore. Then walked in a very tall woman, known as Madam Maxine, followed by two other girls, and when they reached the front of the room, they all bowed and the butterflies turned into sparkles.

"Blimey, that's one tall woman," Seamus said about Madam Maxime, Ron only nodded, as everyone started clapping.

"Now welcome our friends from Drumstrang and their headmaster; Igor Karkaroff!" Dumbledore said, and yet again, the doors to the great hall opened.

Then a bunch off tall more muscular boys walked in, slamming their canes on the floor creating sparks. They came some grunts as the kept marching and they twirled their canes in a very manly way, and slammed it again on the floor. They stopped and twirled their cane again, slamming it on the floor causing more sparks.

Then they dropped the canes and ran to the front of the room cartwheeling and sort of break dancing, as that was going on, in came one Viktor Krum and the headmaster of Drumstrang himself. Ron was star struck, and again Aurora looked like she could care less about the boy and watched the performance.

Lastly one of the boys blew fire out of his wand; the fire took shape of a phoenix then disappeared. The headmaster of Drumstrang went over and gave Dumbledore a slight hug.

Then everyone was seated, and everyone was chattering again. Then the feasted was started and there were two new tables added for the guest of Hogwarts.

"Why would a hog have warts?" Aurora wondered out loud. Harry looked at her strangely, as did Hermione. Ron was stuffing his face as usual.

"It wouldn't," Hermione said, and looked at Ron in disgust.

"But… the school is Hogwarts," Aurora said, Hermione playfully pushed her.

"Oh go ask a real Ravenclaw your Ravenclaw-like questions," Hermione giggled, as did Aurora.

"Honestly Ron. The way you stuff your face, it makes it seem like we don't feed you enough at home," Aurora said, handing him a napkin. Harry laughed.

Soon the dinner was changed to desert and Aurora decided on a cinnamon bun and dug in.

"You really like cinnamon buns don't you? You almost look like Ron," Harry said.

"I love them. But no way I eat like Ron, you're over exaggerating," Aurora said and giggled as Ron shot them both looks. Then Dumbledore spoke again.

"Eternal glory. that is what the winner of the Triwizard tournament will win. But they will have to face three, very challenging and possibly life threating tasks. For this reason the ministry seemed fit to impose a new rule; anyone under the age of seventeen will not be allowed to participate. To explain all this we have Mr. Crouch from the ministry," said Dumbledore, but all of a sudden, the great hall was full of thunder and rain.

A few seconds later a beam of light was shot from the door by the head table and the rain and lighting was gone.

"That's Mad Eyed Moody," said Ron, looking at the person whose spell stopped the thunder. The man had one real eye and the other was like a eye-patch, literally. The eye on the "eye-patch" was rolling around. The man had one real leg and the other was mechanical. He was walking with a cane.

"Alastor Moody? The Auror?" Hermione asked.

"What's an Auror?" asked one of the other Gryffindor's.

"Dark wizard catchers," Aurora said, Harry just looked at the man.

The man, Moody, shook hands with Dumbledore, and then drank something. Then Mr. Crouch explained the rules of the Triwizard Tournament, and the age limit. Then Dumbledore revealed a large goblet, it had a blue fire coming from it.

"This is the goblet of fire. Anyone who wishes to enter the tournament, need only write their name on a piece of parchment and toss it into the cup," Dumbledore said, and then dinner was completed and everyone was sent away.
