Pokémon still doesn't and ... surely never will belong to me. (you can chose if you put sadly or luckily in the free space)
This is the first Chapter in Lucarios POV. I really need to know what you think about it.
R&R
Lucario gasped when he fell onto his back, but it jumped back up and used his staff to knock Aarons out of his hands. The Aura Guardian in counter destroyed Lucario's and both went on fighting with material arts.
After a long time Aaron finally called: "Enough!" The moment he did Lucario fell onto his knees from exhaustion. He and Aaron looked at each other and smiled. "Let's go for a walk", suggested the Guardian and Lucario nodded and pushed himself up. They walked through a small wood and over a field, chatting and laughing. Lucario was happy in a way he hadn't been for long, but he also felt some nagging feeling inside of him, that he should be somewhere else.
He shook the feeling off when he got bumped and fell into a stream. Aaron laughed and Lucario growled, then he splashed water at the Guardian. Both had fun in the water, when suddenly a blinding white light lit up the sky. Both looked up and their jaws dropped when Mew floated down towards the.
"Aaron, Lucario", greeted the legendary Pokémon. "Mew", greeted Aaron back and bowed. Lucario repeated the action, although his nagging feeling of being at the wrong place was stronger than ever before. "What do you want here?", asked Aaron curiously.
"I'm here to give Lucario the chance to live again", answered Mew. "It is your decision. We face a dangerous time and the one we trust our lives to had the honour of the decision of bringing one Pokémon back to live and he chose you."
"Why me?"
"If I say that you'll know who it was and you have to decide without knowing it", answered Mew with a playful glint in her eyes.
Lucario thought. Maybe going back to life would make this nagging feeling disappear, but he didn't want to leave Sir Aaron again. Suddenly the Guardian spoke up: "Lucario, I think you should go." Surprised the Pokémon looked at his master and he went on: "Whoever it is, he seems to have a big heart. You are needed out there Lucario." The Pokémon glanced between Aaron and Mew, then it smiled and nodded.
"I'll go back", answered the dog-like Pokémon and Mew smiled.
"Take my hand", asked Mew gently. Lucario took it and immediately they flew up. Lucario held back a scream of surprise and Mew instructed: "Brace yourself for some pain!"
Then there was a light-flash and a burning pain cut through Lucario's soul, causing him to scream in pain. Soon he blacked out cold.
-The End of an Era-
Everything was black and cold. Gosh Lucario couldn't remember when he had last felt that cold. But after a while he felt warmth coming back into his muscles. "Hey Lucario!" The Aura-Pokémon was startled by the voice, but the voice didn't seem to mind and repeated: "Lucario, Lucario wake up!"
I'm asleep, wondered Lucario, then he remembered. Mew had tried to bring him back to life and he had blacked out in pain. "Common Lucario wake up", begged the voice now and Lucario tried to somehow to show that he had heard.
"Did…did his tail just move", asked the voice.
"Appears so", said another familiar Pokémon voice.
"He's fine", soothed a foreign Pokémon voice the other two. "I can feel it. Coming back to life just cost him much energy."
"I'm relieved, but when do you think Mew will wake up?"
It was silent so Lucario guessed the third voice had shrugged. Finally Lucario was able to do anything but open his eyes, standing up and using his aura. With a mental gnarl it fought against the darkness surrounding it and finally he opened his eyes to see the ceiling of the central chamber of the tree of beginning. With a gnarl he sat up. His whole body ached and he mentally, while making sure no one heard it, cursed Mew for not warning him more. Suddenly there was the first voice again.
"LUCARIO!" The next thing he knew was, that he was hugged by a sixteen years old trainer with a strong aura, Sir Aarons Aura. Lucario went wide eyed at the sight of how much this boy had grown and asked: "Ash?"
The teen grinned at him and said: "The one and only. I'm so glad it worked, I missed you so much." Lucario smiled. He should've known it had been Ash who wanted him back. Suddenly he was tackled by a yellow blur. Lucario tensed, just to relax when he saw Pikachu.
"Pikachu it's good to see you."
"Same here", squeaked Pikachu happily.
Suddenly Ash turned away and asked out loud: "Why are you hiding, it's not like Lucario will bite your head of…and...That's no reason to be rude." Finally he heard a sigh and then a small blue Pokémon ran up to them Lucario was stunned. He didn't know Ash had a Riolu, but then, he had been away for a few years. The teen scoped the Pokémon up and held it towards Lucario. "Lucario, that's Riolu, Riolu, Lucario." Lucario held his paw out and Riolu did the same, relief flashing over its features.
"And I thought you wouldn't like me", meant the Pokémon , but sounded a bit angry.
"Why wouldn't I?"
"Don't know", replied Riolu with a shrug. "Just felt like it." Lucario smiled and shook his head. Then he glanced around and saw the unconscious legendary nearby.
"Mew", said the Aura-Pokémon shocked.
"She's alright", said Riolu. "She is just exhaust. But the moment you can run we have to leave."
"Why?"
"We are in great danger, but we can't talk about it yet, we've got to get back to Pallet Town", answered Ash. Lucario heard the nervousness in their voices and nodded. He pushed himself up and tumbled a bit, but was able to stand.
"Let's go", meant the Pokémon. Ash nodded and picked Mew up. They ran on and fast they had left the tree of beginning. Out there Lucario wondered how they would get to Ash's home, when the trainer took two Pokéballs and threw them.
"Staraptor, Charizard, you need to get us home!" Impressed Lucario eyed the Pokémon. Their auras were strong, caused by their adventures they had with their trainer. "Common Lucario, you ride on Charizard with Riolu. Pikachu and I will take Staraptor with Mew." Lucario nodded and slowly walked up to the fire-type.
"Hello, I'm Charizard. Glad to meet the Lucario Ash talks so high from." Lucario raised an eyebrow and Charizard laughed: "He was very down after you…well, I bet he's really happy that you're alive again."
The aura-Pokémon was thankful Charizard left out the word 'died'. Then he climbed onto the Pokémon's back and Charizard glanced at Riolu.
"Riolu, what's wrong?"
The small Pokémon glared at both, then it sighed and climbed onto Charizards back. Lucario moved to the side to give Riolu some space, but the blue Pokémon just sat in front of Charizards wings. They flew off while Lucario still wondered why Riolu behaved so strange. After a few hours of flying, Mew woke up and looked around.
"A few hours and then we'll be back", she exclaimed.
"Mew, it's good to see you again", called Lucario over.
"Same here my friend!"
"Hey Riolu", called Pikachu now. "Wanna play something? I'm bored."
"No", was the only reply the electric type got.
It looked at Riolu surprised and now Lucario knew something was wrong with the young Pokémon.
"I'm gonna play with you if you want to", offered Mew. Lucario had to smile when Pikachu nodded happily, but before they could start, they heard a loud explosion. Everybody looked up and Mew screamed in fear. "What is that", shouted Ash and Lucario shivered at the fear in the boys voice. Over them was a dark-blue Portal and suddenly an Ice-Beam shot out of it and went for Riolu.
"Look out", shouted Lucario and covered the small blue Pokémon. The beam hit and Lucario felt how his body started to get covered in ice, then everything went black once again.
-The End of an Era-
Lucario groaned when he started to wake up, then he remembered why he blacked out and jumped up, to tumble into a tree. He held on tight there and gazed over the clearing he was on. With fear rushing through his entire body he spotted Riolu who was lying in a crashed rock.
"Riolu, oh no", exclaimed the Pokémon in fear and ran up to the young fighter.
"Riolu", pleaded Lucario. "Riolu wake up. Please wake up. I can't face Ash ever again if I let you die."
After a while of shaking it Lucario was about to give up, but then Riolu stirred and opened his eyes. They were misty, but he was alive. Lucario felt incredible relieved and without realising what he was doing, he pulled Riolu into a hug.
"Wh-aaaa, Lu-Lucario what are you doing", exclaimed Riolu and tried to struggle free.
"I'm just glad you're alright", explained Lucario, not intending on letting go of the small Pokémon soon.
"If, if you wouldn't have woken up I would've never been able to face Ash again. Because then it would always haunt me that I allowed his Aura-Keeper to die."
"Au-Aura-Keeper", asked Riolu confused. Lucario nodded and answered: "You can just get one in your life, one person your Aura can connect with without you even noticing it. I had Sir Aaron, you have Ash."
"So, you're not going to take Ash away from me?" Lucario let go of the young Pokémon immediately and asked: "That was what you were so angry about, that I would steal Ash? I like him, he's a good friend and I would do everything for him Riolu. But he isn't Sir Aaron, even if both have the same Aura. You belong to his side."
Riolu smiled and Lucario smiled back. Suddenly he was hugged by Riolu who sobbed: "I'm, I'm soooo sorry for how I've been."
"It's alright", answered Lucario friendly, then he said: "But now we have to find Charizard."
Riolu let go of him, dried his tears and nodded. Both started to walk, always looking around for the orange dragon. Suddenly Riolu spoke up.
"Lucario, can't you look around with your Aura?"
Lucario would've slapped himself for forgetting this. How could he forget this? It was so obvious. "Thanks for the idea Riolu", exclaimed Lucario finally and closed his eyes. He sent out his Aura and immediately picked up Charizards Aura. Lucario ran on and Riolu followed fast. With a scream of surprise both saw the Pokémon, buried under a pile of rocks, his tail barely in flames.
"We have to free him", exclaimed Riolu and aimed an Aura-Sphere at the pile. Lucario's eyes widened.
How can he use this, wondered the Pokémon. No Riolu can. Finally he snapped out of his surprise and stopped Riolu. "Don't, you could cause more stones to fall on top of him." Riolu nodded and Lucario asked: "What attacks can you use?"
"Force Palm, Aura-Sphere, Bone-Rush and Quick Attack."
"Why do you know how to use Aura-Sphere and Bone-Rush? Those attacks can only be learned by Lucario."
"In the kingdom I lived in before I met Ash I trained long and finally managed to learn Aura-Sphere. I could've evolved already, but I don't want and I learned Bone-Rush because of that."
Lucario nodded and said: "Well, we still will have to pick up the stones since all our attacks will cause more stones to fall on top of Charizard." "Okay", exclaimed Riolu and both got to work. While they worked Riolu asked: "What attacks do you have Lucario."
Lucario was silent for a while, then he answered: "I haven't used any except for Aura-Sphere for long, but if my memories are not entirely wrong I had Aura-Sphere, Dragon Pulse, Flash-Canon and Shadow-Claw."
"Wow, those are strong attacks", awed Riolu and looked up at him with big eyes. Lucario laughed and meant: "All in all, you are still stronger than me."
"Why so?"
"It took me many months, even after I evolved, to get to control Aura-Sphere." Riolu smiled at this and Lucario laughed again. Suddenly they heard a growl and then Charizard burst out of the rock pile and roared loudly, just to see the two of them from the corner of his eye and attack them with Flamethrower. Lucario was frozen in place. Being half a steel type was a huge disadvantage now. Suddenly Riolu jumped in front of him.
"Riolu don't…"
"I know what I do", shouted Riolu and clasped his paws together.
"Aura-Shield!"
A surprised gasp made its way out of Lucario's mouth while the blue shield that Riolu created out of his Aura-Sphere blocked the attack. When the attack died down, Charizard still growled, then it recognized them and said: "Sorry, I thought you were that dammed Pokémon that caused me to crash."
"What was it?", asked Lucario curious. Since he had been hit with an Ice-Beam quite early he didn't know what happened.
"No idea", answered Charizard. "I didn't make it much longer than you."
The three stood in silence for a while, then Charizard said: "Climb up, we have to catch up with Ash again."
Both Aura Pokémon nodded and climbed onto Charizards back.
Yes, Riolu and Ash trained Riolu to be able to turn his Aura-Sphere into a blue glowing shield. During the whole story (Ash and Lucario will be able to use it too sometime) i will call it Aura-Shield.
