Oh My Gawd! OK so I check My E-mail today and guess what!? I have Reviews! Like, A LOT of them for me anyways. And A LOT of story alerters! So. You will all be loved and thanked at the end of this growing chapter! And because I love you all so much;

THIS CHAPTER IS DEDICATED TO ALL WHO HAVE REVIEWED!

So, onwards! I was talking to a friend, and I obviously am really dense because… I DIDN'T KNOW Inuyasha WAS COMPLETE! I know, I freaked. But I was so shocked. Now, I am not an avid reader of the manga but I do love the story, except as you all know my fave paring is Sesshoumaru and Kagome so I was a little disappointed with the ending, and I felt empty after I read it. Yep, so I just had to get that out so yeah.

Iz-chan Love.

Never Assume Anything …

Getting Hit On Already …

The bell rung loudly and Kagome turned to see Inuyasha with an overly hyper look on his face. Raising an eyebrow Kagome stared at him for a few minutes as he picked up pace and headed down the hall faster.

"Um... Taka-baka? What does that bell mean?" Inuyasha turned to look at her. Not questioning the new nickname again. She had been calling him the nickname ever since his slip in the hall a day earlier. He had already shown Kagome around school campus and the outer grounds. Now headed down to the dining room Inuyasha was stoked.

"It's the dinner bell. Duh! We need to go purchase the tickets so that we can get ramen! Hurry Higurashi! You are so slow for a boy!" he moved faster, practically running to the lunch room.

"At least he still thinks I'm a boy." Kagome merely mumbled to herself running to catch up to Inuyasha and his fast foot race to the lunch room.

Dining room twenty minutes later …

"You eat like there's no more food for a week." The man with black short hair simply stated more than questioned to Inuyasha and herself, who were gobbling down ramen, literally like there was no tomorrow. There were five other people sitting with them today at dinner. A man named Satoru, Taka-baka's roommate, who was very much into 'spirits and dark arts', Bankotsu, who interested himself in a glaring match with Sesshoumaru, and Taka-Ichi himself, two other guys named Aki and Nao who had homeroom with Kagome and Inuyasha. Then it was Inuyasha and finally Kagome.

"He'll never win against Inuyasha. He can beat everyone in the school. Even Kouga and he's the top in dorm three, and dorm leader." Bankotsu hissed loudly to Sesshoumaru and Miroku. Kagome spared him a heated glare telling him to shut his mouth.

Currently she was having a ramen eating race with Taka-baka and was quickly falling behind. Deciding to do this American style, Kagome picked up her bowl and threw her head back, speedily downing the rest of the ramen bowl while Inuyasha was busy using his chopsticks.

Kagome threw her cup down and smirked triumphantly, crossing her arms and closing her eyes; perfect imitation of a gloating Inuyasha. The other four just stared in disbelief as Kagome patted her stomach happily.

"Well Taka-baka looks like I beat you." Bankotsu, Nao, and Aki started laughing and Sesshoumaru's mouth cracked into a barely noticeable smile at his brother's nickname and expression. Inuyasha was still staring wide eyed at the empty ramen bowl.

"Hey Higurashi! That's not fair! You cheated!" Inuyasha stood up and yelled at Kagome who still sat there smirking.

"Sorry Taka-baka. Maybe you should have set down some rules before we started." More snickers erupted from Bankotsu and Nao.

"What are you two laughing about!" Inuyasha growled in an upset tone. He had lost and now they were laughing.

"You actually allow Higurashi to call you Taka-baka?" Sesshoumaru raised an eyebrow to his little brother who was glaring at him.

"Don't worry Taka-Ichi! You have one too!" Kagome chimed in, a smile shining on her bright face. Things had gotten a lot better between her and Sesshoumaru in the last couple of days. Kagome grinned more as she remembered what had transpired.

Two days ago …

Kagome slammed the door shut on their dorm room and turned around with a huff. Sesshoumaru just watched with a half amused, half annoyed expression playing on his features lightly as he laid on his bed.

"May I help you?" he questioned tightly.

"This is my room too you know! You could be at least a little considerate and ask how my day was, or why I feel so down. Or maybe you could…" Kagome trailed off after looking at Sesshoumaru's stern stare. "Sorry. I just… had a bad day." Kagome walked over and put her foot on the base board of Sesshoumaru's bed, pushing on her leg she climbed into her bed on the top.

"You know Taka-Ichi. You sure are lucky to have a brother." Kagome said softly as she recalled the reason for her being in the academy in the first place.

"Hn." Was all he said from below.

"But that's why I am here… so it really shouldn't matter. I will find him." Kagome was now talking to herself, leaving Sesshoumaru extremely lost.

Only one thought ran across his path of mind that night, and it repeated itself for him to hear and evaluate many, many times. 'Interesting. Perhaps I underestimated this boy.' That evening Sesshoumaru found it wouldn't be so hard to be civil to Kagome for a bit, after all the boy had just arrived, and seemingly had not met some of the school's more… unique denizens.

After the ramen contest …

"So what do you guys want to do now? We have the rest of the night off and tomorrow will be Saturday so we have almost all day to hang out then." Inuyasha looked to everyone in the group.

"Didn't you say that you played soccer Taka-baka?" Kagome smiled while Nao, Aki, and Bankotsu groaned.

"Great idea Higurashi! I can show you some of the moves tonight!"

"No. Don't get him started. We don't need to see the 'brave young silver dog' tonight." Bankotsu whined, he regretted not inviting everyone over for a gory movie now. He would probably be forced to go by Inuyasha or Sesshoumaru.

"It's okay Bankotsu-san! You don't have to come if you don't want to." Higurashi had offered. Bankotsu was very grateful for Kagome's willingness to let him go, and he didn't stick around to wait for it to be revoked by Inuyasha.

"How 'bout you guys? Nao? Aki? Are you guys going to stay and watch Taka-baka here play some Soccer?" Both shook their heads to Kagome's question, and smiled sheepishly.

"Sorry Kagome, but we are actually going to head over to the basketball courts or the library. Maybe next time." With that they turned and left as well. Sighing Kagome turned to face Satoru. Only to find with great amusement, that he was gone completely.

"Satoru?" upon receiving no answer Kagome walked on to the fields with Inuyasha who chattered about 'the most amazing' moves that he'd ever done.

Sensing someone following behind Kagome turned her head slightly and saw that good ol' Taka-Ichi following slowly behind. Taking his own sweet time to get to the fields with them.

"Um… Taka-Ichi. You don't have to come if you don't want to. You probably have something to do." Kagome smiled.

"My name is Sesshoumaru, Higurashi, and I am coming to ensure that neither of you imbeciles accidentally knock your brains out with the foot ball."

"Did he just use sarcasm?" Kagome hissed to Inuyasha who was listening to the exchange of words as well.

"Yeah. The dick does that sometimes, but only when he's irritated. Maybe he needs some action." Inuyasha snickered and walked to his place of the field, not noticing Kagome's sudden pink hue to her cheeks. He began with his warm ups and dribbled the ball back and forth between his feet while Kagome went and stood next to the goal.

Sesshoumaru on the other hand, stood near the center of the field, a bored expression on his face as he watched the ball being dribbled back and forth by his idiotic half brother.

Kagome watched as Inuyasha swung his leg back, preparing for a huge kick from center field. His leg came down with a loud slap and the ball began to fly through the air. Unfortunately, as good of a player as Inuyasha was, and as cool of moves as he could do, he had poor aim. Kagome realized this about two seconds too late when the big black and white ball had effectively made it's way towards her body, five feet from the goal.

Sesshoumaru watched in hidden awe as his brother hit the mark. Well, the mark for him that is. Yes, Sesshoumaru was secretly praying not five minutes ago that his half brothers kick would hit Kagome, and now deep within his secretive head he was dreading that wish.

The ball slammed into Kagome with a sickening thud. Forcing her to fly backwards and land harshly on her back, and in turn smacking her head on the hard semi-frozen ground. The last sounds that Kagome heard were the voices of her two classmates screaming her name as her world went entirely black.
