A/N: Surprise, people. I didn't think I could write this chapter during my two-week break. But here I am and hopefully you enjoy it. I'll be gone again, unfortunately! Examinations, start!

I also apologize if this chapter is bad because I wanted to get this done as fast as possible.

POV: Ruby Rose

"I know!" Ruby saw Nora talking. "We'll have some sort of signal! Like a distress signal! (gasps) A secret signal so we can find each other in the forest! Can you imitate a sloth?"

"Nora?" Ren was telling her.

"Yes, Ren?"

"I don't think sloths make a lot of noise."

"That's why it's perfect! No one will suspect we're working together!"

"Come on, Nora, let's go."

"Not together-together..." Nora giggled after that. Ruby and Yang were watching them as they packed up for the examination. Yin had already packed up and was waiting for them outside.

"I wonder what those two are so worked up about," Ruby finally asked.

"Oh, who knows? So, you seem awfully chipper this morning!" Yang commented.

"Yep! No more awkward small talk or "getting-to-know-you" stuff. Today, I get to let my sweetheart do the talking," Ruby answered her as she opened Crescent Rose. She sighed happily as she stroked her weapon.

"Well, remember, Ruby, you're not the only one going through initiation," Yang lectured her sister. "If you wanna grow up, you're gonna have to meet new people and learn to work together."

"You sound like Dad!" Ruby whined. " Okay, first of all: What does meeting new people have to do with fighting? And secondly: I don't need people to help me grow up! I drink milk!"

"But what about when we form teams?" Ruby suddenly became anxious after that.

"Um, I don't know, I... I'll just be on your team or something..." she answered Yang.

"Maybe you should try being on someone else's team?" Yang suggested as she stroked her hair.

"My dear sister Yang, are you implying that you do not wish to be on the same team as me?"

"What? No! Of course I do! I just thought... I don't know, maybe it would help you... break out of your shell!"

"What the-?! I don't need to 'break out of my shell'! That's absolutely-"

POV: Yin Xiao Long

"Ridiculous..." Yin whispered to himself. "Absolutely ridiculous. They were supposed to be here by now and yet I'm still waiting, twenty minutes behind schedule!"

"Anything wrong, Yin?" a female voice spoke. He turned around to see Blake looking at him like something was wrong. And there was something wrong! Ruby and Yang knew that he was a person of punctuality and yet they haven't arrived yet. And he waited tweninutes after the summon for the initiation and they weren't still here!

"Yeah, I'm just waiting for Ruby and Yang to show up but it has been TWENTY minutes since the summon!" Yin yelled in frustration. "TWENTY! What am I supposed to do, place a plate of cookies here and wait for Ruby to show up?"

"Why cookies?" Blake asked, curious.

"Oh, Ruby is an absolute sweet tooth," Yin answered her question, his mood suddenly changing. " Any candy, cookie, milk or sweet food that she comes across, it all goes in and there's no more anything for the rest of us." Blake laughed at that joke, imagining in her head that Yang and Yin would only have one cookie while Ruby would take the entire plate.

"So what do you think about the initiation?" she asked her friend.

"Well, I think I'll do okay," Yin replied. "I don't know what team I'll be on so I'll just hope for the best."

"Could I see your weapon?" Blake questioned.

"Oh, sure." Yin made his palm face up and she saw... nothing.

"I don't see anything..." she told him.

"My bracers are my weapon," Yin explained. The bracers came off of his hand by itself, disintegrated into millions of small pieces, and morphed into what looked like a pistol.

"That's amazing..." Blake breathed in shock.

"Basically, my bracers can change into any sort of weapon," Yin continued. "It can transform into whatever weapon I see. For instance, if I take a look at your weapon..." The pistol broke into a million small pieces and changed into Blake's own weapon, Gambol Shroud. Blake watched intently as her friend showed her.

"I can copy it and use it myself. But I just prefer this..." The weapon broke up into pieces again and was then reformed into a wrist-mounted sword with multiple links into it. Blake, however, had another topic in mind.

"Do you even realize that your emotions just bounce off from time to time?" she asked Yin.

"People keep telling me that all the time," he said with a smile. "When I was just five years old, I think I was called the Emotional Rainbow. Not fond of that nickname." Blake laughed again at the joke that her friend made.

"Well," she informed Yin. "Should we get moving to the initiation?"

"Sure! I think Ruby and Yang know how to get there without my help. Let's get moving!"

A/N: And that's it. I'll be gone for the rest of the two weeks and that leaves you time to critically review as much as you want.

P.S: I may need some help for creating moments between Yin and Blake. I have some but it won't be until later that we'll get another moment between them.
