Takeshi was pointing toward a random object before the vendor was handing it over to him, "Here you are sir."
The pair noticed that the silver and brown haired duo traveled from booth to booth with a happy Haru and a small smile present on Hayato's face.
"Haru would like a chocolate covered banana with sprinkles." She eventually orders while she reads the venue's menu.
"And you sir?" The female vendor faced the other teen when she asked the question.
"Haru thinks you should get one too." She was urgently suggesting him to try one of their creations.
"I'll have a fried banana dipped in chocolate." The young man simply answered since he already had a idea on what he really wanted to try.
"You like your bananas fried? Haru finds that very weird but different." Haru states once she returns to her regular height.
"Having it fried is the best! I can't believe you eat yours with sprinkles." Hayato was calmly retorting as they were observing the woman quickly creating their respective orders.
"Haru says we trade to see who's right?" The brunette posed as it sounded more like a challenge than a question.
"Here's your chocolate covered banana sprinkles," She was handing it to Haru, "and your fried banana dipped in chocolate," and handing it to Hayato.
The duo then swapped their orders for the other, broke a bit of the banana off, popped it inside of their mouth and swallowed it.
'It's not that bad…' They both inwardly thought before they eagerly swapped back to what they originally ordered for.
"Haru must admit it... it taste good fried." Haru was honestly admitting after receiving her banana back from Hayato.
Chocolate orbs noticed the expression present on his face and sensed that he felt the same way but would not directly admit it to her, "You might...not have bad taste in food."
The teen girl brightly smiles at the statement since she knows that that was the closest she was going to get him to admit that it was good.
"Hey you two!" "Looks like you're enjoying the festival." Takeshi's voice was heard before she turned to face him and Kyoko's older brother, Ryohei.
Haru nodded her head while Hayato wondered why Takeshi just so happened to bother them right now. 'Something's up with baseball freak...I wonder what it is?'
It was at that moment, he witnessed the baseball freak handed her something from behind his back.
"Oh Takeshi-san, you shouldn't have!" The lone female merrily mentions once she happily accepts the black and white teddy bear with a wide smile on her face.
Green eyes noticed the rather quick expression that the tallest of the four wore on his face after Haru's reaction to his gift. "It's no problem."
Ryohei was opting to remain in a neutral position after feeling the intense glare that Hayato was sending toward Takeshi at the moment.
"By the way Takeshi, if you get another one, I don't mind you giving it to me since the more the merrier." The teen girl audibly whispers in one of the baseball teenager's ear.
It garnered a wide smile on his face before he stretched out to his normal height, "You can count on me!"
'So the baseball freak does as well…' Hayato was concluding before polishing off the rest of the banana after noting his close friend's actions.
The night went on without too much of a fuss except for when the fireworks were announced to be fired off in the next couple of minutes.
"Come on, I want to get a good spot so we can see the fireworks!" Haru urgently proclaims with the bear underneath one of her arm pits.
She was unknowingly reaching for her companion's hand before gently pulling him along with her through the massive crowd of people.
'I want to toss that stupid bear in to the damn trashcan!' He vehemently wishes as he stares at the bear the entire time Haru pulls him to follow her.
"You don't have to yank my arm off, you know." The young man mentioned to her in the process of being tugged but it went completely unheard.
"It's too late…we are already here." The brunette was casually retorting before pointing toward the night sky to see the various explosions of red, blue and green.
"This is nice…" She softly mumbled to herself once she peered up to see the various shapes displayed in the night's sky.
Green eyes stealthily peeks over to see a genuine smile across her lips and her face radiates pure happiness, 'I'm glad I could help.'
He closed his eyes and decided to just enjoy the moment right when he heard his name just above a whisper "Hayato-kun,"
The teen was glancing up to see Chocolate brown orbs staring at him with her eyes low before breaking her silence with "Thank you." The brunette quickly leaned in and placed a chaste kiss on his cheek.
"Eh Tsuna-kun? Did you just see that?!" Kyoko excitingly inquires toward Tsuna, who peers over his shoulder to see what happen between Haru and Hayato.
Tsuna was glad that the two were getting along so well with one another without arguing or teasing, 'Maybe it's the start of something.'

Hayato rapidly grew irritated at the fact that Haru blantantly avoided his question. The sudden sound of movement behind her provided an opportunity to flee from the silver haired male.
"I need to go check on Chiharu." She mentions while she hops to her feet on the ground.
'She still didn't answer…go get the sake bottle.' He was listening to the little voice's suggestion after watching Haru's swift retreat.
The young Mafioso slowly rose to his feet and with one last look at the shoji door made his way back to the living room.
The brunette was nervously waiting with her back against the door while one of her hands was resting on the slide's handle. Once she heard footsteps, she dropped down until the cold wooden floor was against her bottom.
'I can't tell you the answer to that question…at least not until you're ready for it.' She was concluding while peering over her shoulder before staring at Chiharu again.

Hayato woke up earlier than usual due to a regular routine he acquired when he was little. He then felt his head begin to intensively throb.
'I must've drunk too much again…' The silver haired Mafioso considered to himself before he secured his alarm clock in his hands. His slightly blurry vision reads the red digital numbers that informs him that it was six in the morning.
His body was desperately crying out for sleep yet his throbbing headache was forcing him to get out of bed.
A soft knock could be heard at his bedroom door, which sounded more like someone blew a trumpet directly in his right ear.
"Come on in…it's unlock." He says just loud enough for the person outside of the door to hear him.
The knob was twisting clockwise before opening to reveal the sight of a brunette woman, with a silver tray in her hand, appearing from behind the door.
'Miura…Haru?' He was shockingly wondering to himself while shaking his head to make sure that he was not dreaming.
'I thought she was still in America.' Hayato was assuming before rubbing his temples with his index fingers as the throbbing was starting to become worse.
What caught his eyes were the contents that was on the tray: it was a full glass of water, a slice of bread and an aspirin pill on a napkin.
Haru carefully placed it on the lamp counter that was on the side of his bed. "Are you really Miura Haru?"
She knew all too well how he was when he drank like a fish...short term memory loss, "Yes, it's really me."
"I see you still sleep with a shirt off...as if you're invincible to the cold." Haru was jokingly commenting while crossing her arms across her chest.
The silver haired male shifted his lower body so that he was now on the same side of the bed where Haru was to reveal that he wore red sweatpants.
'At least he's wearing some pants this time.' The brunette silently rejoices to herself as she watches him grab the slice of bread and eat it.
"You thought I forgot about what happened yesterday?" He promptly spoke up after he swallowed the slice of bread. The young man then reaches for the aspirin pill and water bottle at the same time.
"No...no I didn't. I saw you drank like a fish and knew you were going to have a serious hangover in the morning. It's the least I can do since you were nice enough to pick us up from the airport" The woman sincerely explains her presence.
The young Mafioso was twirling the pill around in the palm of his hand before popping it in his open mouth and gupping down water.
"Chiharu is your daughter, right?" Hayato inquisitively posed as he directly stared at her face once he swallowed the pill whole.
"Of course she's mine! Why would you ask a question like that?!" Haru was furiously questioning while watching him finish the glass of water.
The male gently rubs his temples with his hands again as the pulsations start to become dull pains. "I don't want to argue with you. All I asked was a simple question stupid woman."
There was a slight awkward moment between the two as she observes him rub his face this time. "Thanks."
"You're welcome." She announced before she hastily exited from Hayato's private quarters.
He allowed his mind to wonder a little about what all happened between him and his former lover. 'I wondered how will this work out…'
Meanwhile,
The dining room was quite busy since the Vongola Famiglia members were freely moving about to pick out their preferred breakfast selection.
Haru eventually entered the dining area with Chiharu attached to her hand. She then settles the toddler in a seat at the table and asks, "What do you want to eat?"
Chiharu's hands rapidly shot forward in order to imitate fireworks while she exclaimed, "Pancakes!"
"Alrighty, sit here and I'll get you some pancakes." The brunette was informing her daughter, who was eagerly cheering in anticipation for pancakes.
Kyoko finally arrives at the busy dining room when her eyes instantly land on Chiharu, who sits at the far end of the table by herself, "Good morning Chiharu-chan."
"Aunt Kyoko!" The energetic tot brightly beamed her a wide toothy smile, which caused her heart to simply flutter from the action.
"Is your mommy here?" Kyoko wonders out of curiosity since she did not see Haru anywhere near her daughter.
The child was pointing toward the direction of her mother, who was currently standing among the others that were placing food on their plate.
"Thank you sweetie," The older woman politely thanks her niece before she ambles her way over to where Haru stands.
"Good morning Kyoko." She warmly greeted the orange haired woman with a smile. "Good morning to you too Haru. How are you doing this morning?"
"I'm good. Did you see Chiharu?" The young mother was asking while fixing her child a plate of pancakes.
"Her smile just made my morning." Her best friend replies with a smile of her own.
"Children tend to have that affect on people, is there something up?" Haru questioned after she registered the particular expression that was present on her best friend's face.
"No, Tsu-kun told me to tell you that he wants to see you after breakfast." Kyoko relays the message from her husband.
The brunette woman was now wearing a weird expression on her face after hearing the message. "Sure, I don't see why not."
"You don't have to worry about Chiharu, I'll look after her for you. Besides, I do have to spoil my only niece as much as possible." Tsuna's wife reassures as a means to calm her friend's worries.
'I already know that but what are we going to talk about?' She was inwardly wondering while fixing her own plate before heading over to where her daughter was sitting.
Hayato was the very last person to enter the room only to realize that it was like being in the café area at college, except in a much smaller area.
The first person he spotted was the one that caused quite a stir in the house due to her sudden presence. That person was none other than the little girl known, as Miura Chiharu.
Green eyes made out a toothy smile on her face while her eyes were wide with delight at her new surroundings.
He also recognized Haru, who sat down next to her daughter with a plate of pancakes and another with some eggs and a small piece of sausage.
The 10th Storm Guardian watches as the toddler happily claps her hands all while she stares at her plate. Her mother purposely sliced her food to smaller pieces so it was easier for her to consume.
"Good morning, Hayato-san." Kyoko politely greeted him on her way out of the dining room. He was swiftly returning the greeting to the woman.
"Tsu-kun says he would like to see you in his office after breakfast. He also said it will be brief." She relayed the message on to the other party.
Hayato was then nodding his head to show that he was listening to her instructions. The young man opted for some pieces of fruit since he was not too hungry for anything else.
"Good morning octopus head." "Yo, good morning Gokureda-kun." "Don't crowd near me. I will bite you all to death."
The silver haired Mafioso returned each and every one of their special greetings minus Hibari, who bared his teeth or his tonfas, before he consumed his rice.
"Were you okay yesterday?" "I haven't seen you drink like that in a while."
Hayato was peeling the skin of an orange before replying, "Yeah you know...just drinking my problems away."
The 10th Sun and Rain guardians easily read through the subliminal message of his statement before their eyes fall on a brunette woman, who feed her daughter.
