I do not own Ouran High School Host Club or Love Hina. Nor do I own any of their respective characters. I do own the character of Ren.
No profit is obtained in any way from the writing of this story.
I'm gonna rate this story Mature for general suggestive content and probably some other stuff down the road that I haven't thought of yet.
This story will be based on the Love Hina manga (which I find is better than the anime) and the Ouran anime (since I haven't read the manga).
Chapter IV
Ren remained where he stood, hot poker in hand, though he lowered it away from Motoko's back. "What the hell are you two doing down here? Front door's up top," he scowled, tucking the poker back into the coals.
"Ren-chan?" Honey said, recognizing his former schoolmate. "What are you doing with that lady?" His hands lowered and his body language relaxed a bit. Mori remained ready for battle though.
"Therapy," was all Ren said on the matter. Walking over to the wall, he lowered the chain binding Motoko's hands over her head. "I think that's actually a good place to stop this time anyway Motoko. You've made a big breakthrough already. If there's any more to bring to the surface, we'll cover it another time." He unlocked the manacles and gathered up her clothes, handing them to her. "Don't put those on just yet, so hold them so we don't see anything," he ordered calmly.
Looking over at the two Ouran hosts who'd so rudely barged in, he said, "How about you guys head on up to the surface? I've got a bit of wrap up with my client here. Just head up the tunnel that way and use the exit I've marked in green." Early in his exploration of the tunnels, Ren had used glow-in-the-dark paint to mark paths and exits so he knew which tunnel exited where.
"Alright Ren-chan we'll see you later!" Honey said happily as he climbed onto Mori's shoulders so the stoic youth could carry him away.
Once they were alone, Ren shook his head and sighed. he'd never get how trusting that kid could be. Seriously, if he'd come across this sort of situation, he would have beaten the guy up and then asked what was going on. "Come on Motoko, let's head into my 'office' so you can unwind a bit before we rejoin the others."
"Ummm, okay," she said, still a bit shocked by what she'd admitted to himself and herself a few moments ago. She liked girls. Why hadn't she realized this before? Maybe Ren knew. He was still a vile pervert, but that seemed to help him know stuff about people.
He showed her to the reclining couch one would find in a normal therapist's office. "Just lay on your stomach here and I'll massage your shoulders a bit." At her glare that he would dare touch her, he rolled his eyes. "Will you take a chill already? Your shoulders are sore from being in that position for so long and you'll need them relaxed and loose for your training later."
"Oh... yeah..." She was deeply ashamed at having jumped to the wrong idea so quickly again. She'd been getting better than Naru at holding back, often only gripping her sword without actually drawing it. And if Ren was going to be a pervert with her, he'd had ample chance earlier. So she merely laid down as he'd instructed.
She gasped when she felt the warm massage oil hit her shoulders. That gasp turned into a low moan as Ren's callused hands began working her muscles with expert skill. "Where did you learn to massage like this?" she asked.
"I'm rich remember? I've gotten plenty of massages like this before, so I merely paid attention when I got one," he replied with a shrug as he continued to work her tense muscles.
She relaxed under his touch for a few more minutes until he was finished with the massage and got up so she could dress. "Why did I never realized I was a lesbian before?" she asked, sitting up on the couch and facing the Gothic young man.
Ren sat down in the chair at the desk nearby and picked up a notepad, jotting down a few things. "My guess is it's your training. At least partly. You throw yourself so completely into your training that you completely forget there's more to your than just the warrior." Reaching into a desk drawer, he pulled out a pair of half moon glasses and set them on his nose so he could read his own notes better as he wrote.
"Now I'm not saying that doing so is strictly a bad thing. After all, bushido is all about devoting yourself to a task. But you also need to take time to reflect upon yourself and what you want out of life. Ever since you were a kid, you've done nothing but train and go to school right? I think that, more than anything contributed to your dislike of men. I know that you felt betrayed to a degree by your sister when she stepped down as the heir to the Shinmei-Ryu school to get married. But, I'm guessing things run deeper than you ever considered when it comes to your hatred towards men.
"A lot of people who don't realize they're homosexual will often lash out at the gender they aren't attracted to. Think about it. Your sister fell in love with a man and when she left with him, it caused you to automatically label any male you encountered from that day forward as a pervert and sexual deviant. But you see, in many cases our sexuality is hardwired into our genetics. Not all the time, but in most cases it is. Anyway, yours is probably genetic and on some level, even at the young age, your mind recognized a strong woman like Tsuruko as your ideal partner."
"And you think that when a man took that ideal away, I lashed out at all men?" Motoko asked.
"Bingo. Now we should probably get back up top before people begin making rumors, namely before Kitsune does. And before Su destroys the inn looking for you."
Back up in the main building, everyone was relaxing in the living room while the Ouran hosts regailed the Hinata Hunnies with some of their more intersting adventures. Those retellings ended however, when a panel of the wall slid aside to reveal Ren and Motoko, along with Honey and Mori behind them.
"... I told you to follow the marked paths," Ren was saying. "But no, you have to run off and get lost in one of the tunnels I haven't put lights up in yet. Not a very smart idea for someone who's afraid of the dark Huninozuka."
"I'm sorry. I must have gotten distracted and forgot where I was going," the petite blonde youth said.
"Well why didn't you point out the error Morinozuka?" Ren wanted to know.
"Didn't want to upset him," the towering young man said with a shrug.
"You two are as useless as the rest of them," Ren sighed, shaking his head and placing his hands on his hips. "Well at least now we're all toge-"
He was cut off as Honey launched himself at Haruhi with a loud cry. "Haru-chan! Look what we found for you in town Haru-chan, I think you'll look very pretty in it." Reaching into his gi, Honey pulled out a layered sundress.
"Thanks guys but you know I'm not really into wearing dresses," Haruhi protested gently, holding up her hands.
Naru frowned at the blonde's actions. "Why would you give Haruhi a dress?"
"Because Haruhi's a girl of course. Girls wear dresses all the time," Keitaro said, unaware of the circumstances surrounding Haruhi's membership as part of the Host Club.
What little color there was to Ren's face drained as Keitaro uttered those completely innocent words. "Oh dear," he muttered as Naru's and Motoko's faces darkened with rage.
"A girl?!" all the gathered females exclaimed at once.
"You perverts are forcing a girl to be in your Host Club?" Naru snapped, rolling up her sleeves. "What sort of filthy things do you make her do?"
"For such an atrocious act, I have no choice but to send all of you to the afterlife," Motoko said calmly, drawing her ever present sword.
The Ouran boys had all gathered together; Honey and Mori in combat stances, ready to defend their friends; Kyoya was jotting down in his notebook, looking as calm as ever; Tamaki and the twins were cowering together, whimpering like scared babes.
"Hey wait, they don't make me do anything weird or anything," Haruhi said in their defense, but Naru and Motoko were beyond reason at this point. Just as the brunette was about to try and become between her friends and their would be executioners, Ren intervened.
He started with Motoko, using her distracted focus to knock her legs out from under her and kick her sword away. "How many times must I get onto you about dishonorably attacking unarmed people who haven't raised so much as a finger against you?" he scowled before turning his attention to the true problem, Naru.
Moving to stand between her and the Ouran boys, Ren's eyes glared at her. "Now you listen here you little bitch, I'm sick and tired of this crap from you. Okay, so Haruhi's a girl and a member of their school's host club, big effing deal." He paused to look back at Haruhi. "You guys just flirt with the girls who come to the club right? Nothing more?"
Haruhi nodded. "And if a girl comes to us with a problem, a lot of the time we do what we can to try and fix it," she said.
"There now, see? No harm done," Ren told Naru.
"I don't care. They shouldn't be using a girl to make themselves more popular with women, it's disgusting," Naru snapped. "And I'm tired of getting lip about my behavior from a filthy pervert like you, Ren. God only knows what you're using Kitsune for every time you pull her into your room."
He rolled his eyes at this. "Are you really that dense? Since when have I hidden what Kitsune and I do? We have sex between two consenting adults. There's nothing wrong with it at all. We don't expect anything from each other except a bit of mutual pleasure. She's not after my money, and I'm not just using her. Hard as it is for you to comprehend, she and I are friends. Friends who happen to enjoy sleeping together from time to time."
He was beginning to wonder if Naru was a lesbian as well. Sure, she'd been turned down by Seta when she'd had a crush on him all those years ago, but still. Her hatred of males made Motoko seem like a fan of his gender. Stalking towards naru, he grabbed the collar of her shirt. "Now you listen to me real close, Narusegawa. I'm going to say this one last time before I start getting violent with you. Stop just assuming every male interaction with a female is a perverted, nasty thing. Whatever Haruhi's reasons for being in the Host Club are her own. And as much as I don't like these guys, I know they'd never hurt a girl or doing anything perverted towards one."
He let her go and turned towards his former schoolmates. "I can even tell you why. Honey's too sweet, Mori's too stoic and keeps by Honey. The twins are just playful, never truly meaning any harm. Kyoya rarely does anything without cause for personal or financial gain. And Tamaki's just too damn stupid."
Moving over to Kitsune, who had been frowning at her friend's words, he took her hand. "Now if you'll excuse us. I think now's the perfect time for a bit of angry sex since we're both pissed at Naru," Ren said. He smirked at Kitsune, who flashed a wicked grin on her own.
"Lead the way, sugah," she cooed, latching herself onto his arm as they headed up the stairs nearby to scratch their mutual itch.
By now Motoko had gotten to her feet and collected her sword. Ren's words, no matter how many times he said them, were always such a painful blow to her pride and honor as a samurai that she was instantly subdued. Seeing the Naru wanted was torn between chewing out the Ouran hosts some more and chasing after Ren to give him an earful, she walked over and placed a soothing hand on her friend's shoulder. "Naru, I think you and I should talk about last night up in my room." Turning to Shinobou, she said, "Shinobou, would you be so kind as to make some tea and bring it up to us in a bit?"
When the shy young woman, who's face was still beet red from how many times Ren had said the word "sex" moments before, nodded, Motoko pulled Naru upstairs and into her room that looked more like a samurai dojo than a bedroom. But then, most of the girls here had a unique look to their room.
Once they were settled across from each other and Shinobou had brought up the tea, Motoko sighed as she tried to figure out how best to word this. "I..." she began before stopping, still struggling to find the right words. "Naru... I know what happened last night between us was... sudden to say the least."
"You got that right," the brunette huffed, folding her arms over her chest. "What was that all about anyway, kissing me like that?"
Sipping her tea, Motoko looked anywhere but at Naru's narrowed gaze. "I don't know what came over me. I mean, I know now why I did it, but not why I did it so suddenly like that. After I k-kissed you, I went to Ren to see if he knew why." She held up a hand when she spotted Naru about to complain over that. "Please, let me finish. He didn't help me out last night, but he did take me into the tunnels for one of his 'sessions' this morning."
Motoko rubbed the back of her neck. "I know Ren's a pervert and I assure you that my opinion of him in that regard has not changed in the slightest. But he does come across as very wise in the reasons people do what they do. And he helped me discover something about myself that I'm ashamed to say I didn't notice earlier." Pausing again, the samurai finally met her friend's gaze. "Naru, I-I'm a lesbian."
Naru's eyes widened at this little bit of news. In all the years she'd known Motoko, never once had such a thought crossed her mind. She'd merely seen a kindred spirit in her hatred of men. Of course, this also meant that Naru hadn't given any thoughts as to the possible actual alignment of her own sexual orientation. "You sure that's what you are? Maybe Ren's just brainwashed you nto thinking that for some perverted reason."
"No, it's true Naru. Last night when you described settling down with a man at some point, I just got so jealous. And kissing you felt right. Despite my shock at doing so, I loved the way your lips felt."
Naru opened and closed her mouth several times as she tried to process this information. Finally, her mind managed to settle down. "If you're sure this is what you are, then I'm happy for you Motoko. Is there anything I can help with to make you more comfortable with this?"
Biting her lip, Motoko nodded. "There is one thing. I would like to k-kiss you again..."
Author's Note: Well here we have it folks, the latest update to my lovely little crossover of the Hinata Hunnies and the Ouran Hosts. That Ren's something else isn't he? I don't think I'd be able to hold back if I was chewing out Naru like that. Guy has the patience of a saint. Now the real question is, how is Naru going to going to react to Motoko's rather blunt request? Stay tuned and find out. As always, your comments and reviews are more than welcome.
