Injuried Chapter 4
"You should rest," Itachi told Sakura, expecting Sakura to follow Itachi as he left the room.
Entering Kisame's and Itachi's shared room, Kisame was in the bathroom. Itachi sat at the end of the bed, right at the end of the bed; Itachi was able to lean back against the wall behind him. Patting the bed beside him, Sakura stood staring at Itachi confused. Pointing to the pillow at the opposite end of the bed before pointing to Sakura.
"Lie down, sleep," Itachi ordered, slowly Sakura got into the bed sitting at the opposite and she watched Itachi not sure what to do.
Rolling his eyes at the younger girl, Itachi glanced at her sitting up watching him.
"Lie down," Itachi ordered, watching as Sakura pulled the covers back and laided down.
Resting her head on the pillow, Sakura moved her legs down the bed being aware of Itachi. Looking at Sakura's feet moved further down the bed, he saw them stopped not too far from him. Listening to his senses after Sakura had closed her eyes; Kisame took his minute to enter the bedroom from the bathroom. Staring at the scene before him, a large smirk crossed across his face. Ignoring Kisame, Itachi glanced at Sakura before returning his gaze back to Kisame. Walking to his bed, Kisame sat down eyes on Sakura lying in Itachi's bed.
"You ruin all my fun," Kisame told Itachi; angry that he couldn't have his fun with the girl.
"Kisame, she is protected by me," Itachi answered, aware of Kisame's want to touch the girl.
"I know, but still. Don't you want to touch her and feel her?" Kisame questioned, once again questioning Itachi's sexually.
"She is here to heal me, when she finishs healing me, she will be safety returned to the leaf village," Itachi said, knowing this would annoy Kisame the most.
Sensing Sakura's uneasyiness beside her, Itachi knew the girl was listening to the conversation. Ignoring the fact that Sakura was listening because he didn't care if she listened there was nothing new she would learn for listening.
"You can't be serious," Kisame asked, worried that he may be telling the truth.
"Why would I lie about this?" Itachi asked, Kisame looked at the girl annoyed that he wouldn't get to touch you.
"What was the deal?" Kisame asked, wandering why Itachi was going through such an effect to ensure this girl was kept safe.
"She heals me and the Akatsuki stay away from the Leaf Village," Itachi answered.
"She just heals your eyes, isn't that kind of a bad deal?" Kisame asked.
"Sakura, will heal me whenever I need, even after she returns to her village," Itachi answered.
"Why are you returning her to the village in the first place? Couldn't she just stay here and heal you?" Kisame asked.
"If she stays I have to watch over her, if she returns to the village I still have full access to her, but haven't the need to take care of her to any great degree," Itachi replied.
"What about her leaking information?" Kisame asked, Itachi glanced at Sakura knowing that she was close to fall asleep.
"She is smart enough to not share any information, she will be classed as a traitor by the village if everyone knew," Itachi answered, across from him Kisame yawned.
"Nite," Kisame yawned, switching off the room light and returning to his bed to lie down.
Sitting in the darkness, Itachi listened to the room around him. Itachi knew when Kisame feel asleep, he knew Sakura was struggling to fall asleep but didn't let Sakura know. Waiting for her to fall asleep before he could let himself rest, it was early hours in the morning before Itachi had fallen asleep. Sleeping past his usual wake up time, Itachi wasn't the first to stir. Opening his eyes, Kisame was surprised to find Itachi still asleep, it was very unusual for Kisame to see the Uchiha sleeping. Usually Itachi would be up way before him. Seeing Itachi sitting at the end of the bed and the girl lying down was so strange.
"You know that is creepy," Sakura said, seeing Kisame staring at her and possibly Itachi.
No reply was said; Kisame remained quiet not knowing how Sakura had knowing he was staring at them. For the first time this morning, Sakura opened her eyes looking straight at Kisame. Sitting up in the bed, Sakura tilted her head to the side as she stared over at a tired Kisame. Moving her gaze to Itachi, who was still sitting at the end of the bed. Not knowing what to do, Sakura watched as Kisame stood from his bed and disappeared into the bathroom.
"Sakura, once Kisame is finished you need to shower and change," Itachi told Sakura, his gaze on the bathroom door.
Moving his attention on to the door leading outside to the rest of the Akatsuki base, Kisame was quick to exit from the bathroom, the smell seemed to fill the room. Standing from the bed, Itachi knew the smell was of Kisame's body wash. Turning from Kisame, Itachi looked at Sakura, expecting her to be up on her feet. Moving to his dresser, Itachi found the smallest set of clothes he could find and held them out to Sakura. Standing from the bed, Sakura took the clothes from Itachi found the smallest set of clothes he could find and held them out to Sakura. Standing from the bed, Sakura took the clothes from Itachi, being careful not to touch his hands.
"Shower," Itachi ordered, nodding once Sakura headed for the bathroom.
