Okay, this chapter was very short in the original. The only reason it suppressed 1000 words was due to the introduction to a trio of characters for later, this time that won't be included as I don't wish to spoil my plot. Especially with the alterations that I'm making.

Usagi walked through the park, it had been a couple of years since her adoption and the birth of her brother. She was now 12 and nearly forgot about the 2 years of her life where she was a orphan on the streets. She had grown quite a bit, she was still a bit of a crybaby and quite clumsy but that was just part of her charm. She had amazing relationships with her family, even though they sometimes got on her back for her low grades. She still loved her Shingo, they were very close despite the age gap that they had. Oh and she was still best friends with Naru and Umino, but that was to be expected.

She sat down at a nearby bench, smiling to herself. Yeah, the last few years had gone by and she was doing way better then when she was a child. She gently combed her dyed hair with her fingers as she looked around the peaceful park. Sure, there were some noisy kids about but that just added to the tranquility of the park and she loved it. Well, that tranquility wasn't going to last...

A loud bang rang through the sky above, scaring every person in the park. Usagi covered her ears and looked upwards, seeing a swirling cloud of pink. It seemed to be like a hole or something, like it led to another world. The concept was proven when a cat-like ball dropped to the ground, the small sphere that was connected by a small wire was glowing and blinking. Usagi was surprised by the ball, but then she got shocked even more by a little child that landed on the grass nearby. The child was a little girl with pink hair, that was tied back into rabbit-styled odangos, and pretty red and golden eyes. Wait, red and golden. Surprise would be an understatement of how Usagi felt when she saw those eyes, the same eyes that she naturally had.

Suddenly those eyes whelmed up with tears of pain as the child began to cry, loudly! She had to do something, so pushed herself up off the bench and walked over to the pinkette. She gently held a hand out, whilst saying in a kind voice. "Are you alright, little one?"

The child stopped making noises, but her eyes still had tears within. She looked at Usagi, before slowly taking the older girl's hand. She didn't answer and just let Usagi lead her to the bench. Usagi sat the little girl down before sitting next to her. She needed to know the answer to her next question, so it slipped out without a second thought. "So, sweetie. Why did you come out of that weird pink hole in the sky?"

"Oh...uh...um.." stuttered the little girl, like she didn't know how to phrase what she was going to say. "Mommy told me to come here...and well, um...we live in the future so I had to travel to the past. Isn't that right, Luna-P?" she looked up at the ball-like thing that was now floating.

It seemed to have a conscious, that was interesting to Usagi. It nodded to the little girl's question and then floated down into the pinkette's lap, which caused the little child to hug it. Usagi was definitely shocked at the idea of the child being from the future. But judging by the little girl's entrance, it was somewhat believable for her to be from the future. Suddenly, the little one's face changed. "Oh...I should um introduce myself, shouldn't I?"

"Well, it would make a start and we can then figure out what your mom wants."

"Okay...my name is Small Lady 'Usagi' Serenity," the small child listed her name, making it seem very easy to pronounce which it clearly wasn't.

"Sma..." Usagi tried to repeat what the little girl said, it was quite ridiculous that this 'Small Lady' had a name like that. "Well, that does seem like a rather unnatural name in our generation. You know, the little name you said 'Usagi' happens to be my first name. So considering you kinda look like me, would it be alright for me to just call you 'Chibiusa' instead?"

The little one's eyes lit up, like she loved the name or something. "Of course you can!"

Usagi chuckled, liking the girl's reaction. "Well, I guess that's settled then. Do you know why your mom sent you to the past? There has to be an important reason for her to send a child like yourself to my timeline."

"Well...she said something about learning the Earth's culture before the great freeze that brought about Crystal Tokyo," Chibiusa said calmly, like it was obvious what she was talking about. "But I don't like reading books and since she agreed with me, she gave me a time key and told me to come to the past to learn from her past self."

"Past self..." Usagi repeated, thinking about something. "Did your mom tell you her past self's name?"

"Yea, she said 'Usagi Tsukino' or something along that line," Chibiusa responded, looking up. She looked into Usagi's eyes and realized. "Is that you?"

"Well. Considering that we share a name, I'm assuming so," the blonde responded. She sighed, it was definitely surprising that Chibiusa was going to be her daughter and her expression was all the pinkette needed to know how the girl felt. "I can't believe this...I'm going to be a mother in the future..."

"Isn't it natural to be mothers?" Chibiusa said, innocently.

Usagi chuckled, ruffling the little one's hair. "Not always, sweetie," she grinned a little. "Though, I'm glad that your my daughter. Your so cute."

Chibiusa's face went red with embarrassment, which left her stuttering. "Um, uh...t-thank you?...My mommy usually tells me that I have to look beautiful for our subjects..."

"Subjects?" Usagi was a little surprised by that, she knew from the moment that the little one didn't mean school subjects.

"Oh...I forgot that you don't know what I mean. Well...lets see on how to explain this. Mommy's the queen of Crystal Tokyo...and I'm the princess, I guess. That's kinda the reason that my real name is Small Lady. She wants me to be a lady, but it's been over 500 years since I last had a growth spurt..." Chibiusa explained, chuckling and making the fact that she was over 500 years old seem normal.

"Wait a minute, how OLD are you?" the blonde stressed the word 'old' out quite a bit.

"Uhh, roughly 850 years old. Give or take, I lost count of the amount of birthdays I had..."

"So your immortal?"

"Hmm, I guess," Chibiusa muttered before explaining about it. "Mommy made it so that the world would always be at peace, so everyone's ages got locked at about 30. Except me...my abilities have yet to develop so I got stuck in a child's body."

"Well, that is quite surprising...that I would do something like that...even if it's future me," Usagi commented, before getting up off the bench and stretching out. "Today has been totally crazy...finding out that I'm going to be a mother to you and that I'll be a queen. My grades say otherwise, but if you say that it's true then I'll at least listen."

Chibiusa didn't reply immediately, but she nodded and then began to speak in a somewhat calm voice. "Um, yeah. My Auntie Mars told me before I left that you had bad grades...I didn't believe her, you always seemed so smart and responsible in my time...you are a queen after all...maybe it's just maturity that I'm thinking of..."

"Auntie? I don't have a sister as far as I know..." Usagi commented, not understanding Chibiusa's statement. "And the name 'Mars'?"

"Oh, she's just honorary family according to mommy. All...um 7 of my aunts are. And the name 'Mars' is just a term to represent what planet she rules over...I don't know her past name, she never told me."

"I see, that makes a little more sense. But 7? That's curious that that's how many female friends I'm going to have."

"Well...it's not just 7 friends...you have many more. Like Saturn, she's my best friend. She's just too young to be considered an aunt. She's Aunt Neptune and Aunt Uranus' adoptive daughter after all and a couple of years older then me."

"So basically all my friends share their representative names with planets?" Usagi concluded with a sigh. She looked over her shoulder at her future daughter and said in a somewhat calm voice. "That's quite weird...oh well, I guess I'll figure it out when I meet them."

Suddenly, she saw Chibiusa's eyes fill with fear. She knew that look, she often had it during the two years of her life when she was an orphan. She pulled one of her contacts out, revealing her golden eye. She looked around and eventually saw the supernatural, a werewolf that was snarling at them. She chuckled nervously, she hated werewolves due to what happened to her birth parents. "Okay, best for us to get going. Its not safe here..."

"Uh huh," was the answer. Chibiusa took Usagi's hand and the two ran away from the park. Luckily, the werewolf didn't follow them after Usagi placed her contact back in. She quickly concluded that Chibiusa's sight wasn't as powerful as her own, but the supernaturals could still feel it. Chibiusa breathed in and out when they were far enough, she still looked terrified. "What was that?"

"A werewolf, supernatural lycan. Doesn't appear often, even for those with the 'sight'," Usagi explained, adjusting her eyes to the glass piece after she slotted it in place.

"Supernatural? Sight?" Chibiusa's voice was filled with confusion, she had never heard the latter term and she hadn't expected Usagi to say the word 'supernatural'.

"I didn't tell you in the future?"

"No..."

"Definition of 'sight':a inheritable power that causes people to be able to see supernaturals. It's rare nowadays due to the blood line being diluted. Mine happened to be one of the strongest since I have two parents with 'sight', my mother just didn't use it as often. Your father must be normal as your aura is much weaker then mine, the lycan didn't follow us after all," the blonde explained, looking very serious.

Chibiusa's eyes filled with shock, she had never expected that she had a ability like that. Suddenly, she wasn't as impressed as she said. "Wow...b-but I don't want to see these supernaturals..."

"Well,...I have a way to lower the aura that we give off. Wearing contacts to change my eye color seemed to have a unique effect as the glass supressed my aura and I haven't seen another supernatural until today," Usagi responded. "Maybe I can do the same for you, change that golden eye into a red one to match. I'm sure your mom, future me, will understand."

"Well...I wouldn't mind it, some people bully me for my eye colors. Saying it doesn't look natural and things like that."

Usagi smiled and nodded, she knew Tokyo like the back of her hand nearly and so it was easy to lead the young child to the nearby glasses shop. Now for a cover story so nobody questioned why she was with the young child. "Okay, to get you in there. I'm gonna act like your baby sitter so act your appearance as opposed to your age."

Chibiusa understood and followed the older girl into the shop. The shop keeper seemed to recognize Usagi as he said. "My, Usagi-chan. Did you contacts break again or something?"

"Not this time, Akagi-san," Usagi explained, chuckling under her breathe. She had been here many times due to her clumsiness. "I'm babysitting this little one here and her mother asked me to get her a contact. She gets bullied at school due to her golden eye and her mom wants her to have a contact to change it to red like her other."

"I see, well I happen to have just gotten a batch for red contacts. Their not expensive and I can give a discount for my long time customer," Akagi-San responded. "I can make it so that you only need to pay 500 yen on it."

"That's definitely cheap," the blonde replied, before rummaging through her purse. She got pocket money every week and had been saving up, but she didn't mind breaking into it for her future daughter. She handed over the yen and took the contact. "Okay, sweetie. Hold still whilst I do this."

Usagi had practice with putting contacts in, so the lens quickly slipped into place. Seconds later, Chibiusa's golden eye was shifted to a similar color as her other eye. It looked more natural and keep her general appearance in tact. Chibiusa looked in the mirror and smiled brightly, she loved the new look. "Do you think mommy will like it too?"

"I'm sure, you look adorable regardless," Usagi smiled.

The two left the store and were stopped by an object in front of them. The object was soon revealed to be a gray kitten with large pinkish-red eyes. The most notable feature was the yellow crescent bald patch on her forehead, though she was also wearing a bell collar. Chibiusa gasped at the sight of the kitten. "Diana, did you come to pick me up?"

The kitten - Diana - nodded, seemingly understanding Chibiusa's question. Then something that shocked Usagi to the core happened, little Diana spoke. A cat, a cat, spoke! "Yes, Small Lady. Your mother sent me, she got a little worried about leaving you alone and so decided to wait until the sailor senshi have been activated in the past before sending you back."

"I'm going crazy..." Usagi groaned, holding her head with absolute confusion. "A cat is speaking, right in front of me...then again, if I can have a future daughter then I assume a cat from the future can speak..."

Diana chuckled, she had expected that reaction. "It's alright, Queen. It's to be expected from a girl, who isn't aware of us animals from Mau. I wasn't born on my parents' home world, but I inherited their gift to speech. Allowing me to speech to Small Lady, which is a pleasant gift. Even my sister, Selena, has the ability. Though her guardian has yet to be born."

"Mau...guardian? Okay, I get it somewhat. If your here to take Ch-I mean Small Lady back, it's probably best that you do. Before I get a headache."

"Alright, my queen."

Chibiusa grabbed a key that was hanging around her neck, summoning a large pillar of pink energy. She turned back on second, Diana now on her head between her rabbit shaped odangos. "Bye, mama. See you later, it's time for me to head back to Crystal Tokyo."

Usagi barely even noticed being called 'mama' as she watched the young pinkette walk into the pillar of light. Seconds later, she saw Chibiusa float upwards and vanished along with the pillar and Diana. "Well...that was intriguing..." she turned and headed home, wondering if she would see her future daughter again. Well, she would. But she meant in this time period before the little pinkette was born. That was a question, who on earth was Chibiusa's father!?

Hope you enjoyed this chapter, it feels less shoe-horned then in the original story. I think I gave a better reason for Chibiusa's appearance...ehh, now all you need to do is re-imagine the episodes with Chibiusa in and have Usagi know about her...
