Sorry for taking so long guys, I'm having a bunch of tests at college this week. But here it is, the last part, the point I wanted to reach since the beginning! Hope you like it.

"Hey." Walter approached the three them, slightly nervous about seeing Paige for the first time after the fight. Walter hadn't heard what they'd been talking about before he got there.
Happy and Toby so closed their eyes, afraid of what Paige could do in the forward moment. There was no worse moment for the guy with the 197 IQ to arrive, and the ex-waitress was already too weak due to the lately circumstances.
"So that's the way you would prove me I was wrong?" it was the only thing Paige said, glaring at him. Walter frowned.
"What are you talking about?" he stepped closer. The married couple decided the best to do was not interfering, or maybe they were just trying to get themselves out of the trouble.
"Toby was right, you have weird manners of surprising us." Paige shook her head in a sign that Walter was able to read as disappointment. "You know what, I'm taking the day off." She completed.
"Ahm… Well, that's not what I've meant!" Toby tried to point out with his finger, but it was useless.
The ex-waitress left the kitchen, gathering strength for not crying, just in the exact same way she did in the last time she was there. The similarity was almost funny in her mind after all. Who would've guessed? It turns out her relationship was actually falling down, and this time it felt way more real. Shit, she hadn't gotten that sensitive since Ralph was born.
"Paige, did I do something?" Walter's baffled face followed the woman, and it was all it took for her to lose the patience.
"Do not play the fool with me, genius boy." Paige sarcastic tone came up. "If this is what you want, so that's how it's gonna be." She stated before getting out of the garage and slamming the door behind her.
Walter just stood there, completely puzzled as if he had missed a part of the story. And the anxiety rising again on his body warned him it must have been a pretty important part. He raced back to the kitchen to collect some information from his friends, who certainly had something to do with this.
"What did you do?" Walter exalted. Happy's and Toby's guilty faces told him the couple had a special participation in what have happened.
"Well, you are not gonna like it." Toby muttered.

After being pressed to speak, Happy ended telling Walter about the conversation they had with Paige right before he came in this morning. Clearly, Walter got pissed. If it wasn't Cabe to hold him back, he would surely have hit Toby.
All the genius wanted to do though was to run after Paige and clarify this huge misunderstanding. However, once more he was restrained from going due to some Homeland special case that showed up just for simply disturbing. It was already evening when the team got back to the garage. Mad with Happy, not speaking at all with Toby and without even changing his clothes, Walter left his own place to head into Paige's. He'd texted her during the entire day, but he got no response.
Walter was worried. This couldn't be the end, she couldn't do it to him without even knowing all he had planned for her. Walter had no idea of what he was supposed to say to her this time, but he needed to find a way of undoing what Toby did. When he stepped in her floor at the building, he was sure she wouldn't cooperate. So, that was all on him. He needed to be smart and not get lost on his feelings anymore for managing to get her back.
So, Walter pressed the bell button and decided to rest his thumb on the peephole, blocking Paige's vision from inside. The chances of her opening the door might be better if she didn't know it was him knocking.
"What the hell?" He heard her low voice speaking to herself inside the apartment, probably after figuring out she had no view of the outside. "Who is there?"
He didn't answer.
"Okay, Walter, do you think I am stupid? I know it's you. And I'm not opening." She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.
"I know you do. And I knew you would say that. I just want us to have a fair conversation. If I can't see you, you can't see me. Or we can both see each other if you open it." He negotiated and sighed.
"There will be no fair conversation cause there will be no conversation at all. Just leave." The ex-waitress kept her ironic tone.
"Paige, I need to explain my position to you."
"You mean the one when you told me you were gonna prove I was wrong and then secretly hanging out with Florence again?!" now she laughed. "Save it for yourself!" she raised the tone.
"I had a reason for doing this, please, you need to trust me!" Walter begged, raising the tone as well.
"Shit, get out of here, Walter! This has already hurt me enough!" Paige yelled. Despite it, Walter almost didn't notice her whining voice. She was crying. Shit.
"Damn it, Paige, don't you think it is hurting me too?" The genius punched the door with his free hand. "Who do you think I am?"
"A robot, as you've always been!" The crying was way too evident at this point.
"Oh, really? Was I a robot in all of our intimate moments so?"
"Get your finger out of there!" Paige changed the focus, refusing to respond his question. The more she kept yelling, more her voice failed.
"No until you open the damn door!" He insisted.
"I'm not opening the damn door!" She answered in the same way.
"Paige, please, your neighbors are certainly hearing all of this and you know I'm not leaving." Walter backed off, breathing slowly. He was struggling to keep his feelings in control since the moment she started with the tears.
Suddenly, and for his surprise, he heard the door being unlocked.
"Fine, you wanna come in, so come in, doesn't mean I'm talking to you though." She stated before running into her room, while Walter opened the door and stepped in. When he saw her trying to hide herself from him again, he was fast enough to run and prevent her of closing the bedroom door.
"Stop with this, Paige. Look at me." It was his strength against hers.
"I don't wanna look." She spat out the words.
"Deep inside I know you want. Otherwise you wouldn't let me in." His voice was calm. Paige took some seconds, but after it she softened and surrendered, stopping to push the door against him. Finally, Walter was able to get in and look at her eyes. They were pinky. "Paige, I..."
"Why?" She whispered, sniffing.
"Why what?"
"Why were you with Florence today? You said there was a reason. I wanna know." He could see she was fighting against the rest of the tears.
"Well, actually..." Walter realized he had got himself into a trap. He couldn't tell her already. "I... I sort of can't say yet..." he closed his eyes. He was sure this was not even close to the right thing to say. But what so? He didn't wanna blow the surprise.
"Oh, you gotta be kidding me." The woman mumbled, turning around and glancing at the wall.
"Paige, c'mon, I thought you knew I'm not this kind of person."
"Yeah, well, I thought I knew too." She nodded and left the room. Walter followed.
"Right, so in your logic it's not fine I hurt you with Florence but it is fine you to hurt me by saying that? Cause you know, insinuating that I am the kind of men who does terrible things on purpose hurts as well!"
"You were the one who came over here to have a conversation and now you can't handle it?" She made her way to the kitchen and started to dig on something to eat in the freezer.
"I was expecting you to be more reasonable!" it was Walter's turn to be sarcastic.
"You weren't even capable of telling me what you two were doing together today! What am I supposed to think?!"
"ANYTHING BUT THIS!" He screamed, outraged.
"Well, guess what, I have three words for you, handsome. PROVE. ME. WRONG." She turned to face him, her tone harsh but her expression sad.
"FINE, PAIGE, YOU WANNA KNOW WHY SO YOU'LL KNOW, screw the surprise, whatever, I'm tired of this." So he searched for something in his pocket, pulling it out very quickly. "HERE IT IS YOUR STUPID PROOF, and now I'm leaving, as you wish so badly." Walter threw a little red velvet box at the kitchen counter and started to make his way out of the apartment.
Paige glanced at the little box and her mind blowed in confusion. She took a few seconds to realize what was happening. In the exact time she did, her stomach rolled inside. She could never see this coming.
Paige caught the box and ran fast to reach him up. Fortunately, Walter was stepping into the elevator when she got in the hall of the floor.
"Walter, what is this?" She tried to speak, but it was getting harder to breath. He stopped to walk and looked at her.
"Have you opened it?" He muttered. Walter seemed lost. He didn't intend to ruin things like this. He was truly thrilled about his plan.
"No, what is this?" She asked again, louder and serious.
"Just open it and…" he was shaking his head when her anxiety took control of her words. Paige interrupted his stalling.
"Walter. WHAT THE HELL is this?" she stared deeply into his eyes, her hands shaking.
"DAMN IT, Paige, you know exactly what this is!" Walter exalted. His arm was still holding the elevator door.
Paige passed her hand through her head while she sat down at the ground. She tried to catch her breath again before speaking. Walter waited for her to slow down; he knew this was almost like a bombshell to her. And, to be honest, it wasn't being easy for him too.
"What were you going to say?" She managed to talk after a while, without the courage to look at him anymore.
"Well, a bunch of things." He sighed lightly. "But mainly that even though I've failed in my first commitment with you, I wanted to show you that I genuinely intend to change this. That I've realized I wanted to be your partner forever. And... that I went to Florence for help cause I had no freaking idea about how to propose, and she was the only non-genius woman I know besides you to get some advices from." Walter was not even finished and Paige started to cry all over again.
"This... this is wrong." She hid her face between her knees. "You were not supposed to throw something like that on me from nowhere. And… God, this is all my fault. I'm sorry, you were just... and I ruined it." She shook her head. Walter sighed and let go the elevator, taking a step towards the woman.
"C'mon, let's go back inside." He offered his hand, which she quickly caught. Walter brought her up and led her back to the apartment. When the both of them finally adjusted themselves in the couch, Paige began to speak again.
"Walter, I meant it, I'm sorry for being so complicated." She was staring at her hands. "I'm sorry for all of this, the whole fighting. I was scared. I got too involved in our relationship, and I've promised I wouldn't do it again after Drew. But then you came and I dived fully in it and… since Flo got in the way she seemed to understand you three hundred times more than I do and you know I wasn't good enough to Drew so this felt like..." Paige was running out of breath, and she couldn't even find more words. She was nervous. She was still holding tight the little unopened box.
"It's okay." Walter caressed her face, cleaning her tears. "We are both complicated. You always understood me. And I understand you now. I am sorry for making you feel replaced. I also should have told you more about how important you are to me and how someone would never fit this whole space in my life as you do. The thing is... you are good enough to me, Paige. I may be terrible on expressing it, but you still are. I know your traumas. But I'm not Drew, neither your mother. I am not going to leave you. Ever. You and Ralph are my family."
Suddenly, she hugged him. Walter shrugged; it seemed like a lifetime since the last physical contact between them.
"Do not apologize. I fell in love with you and all the awkwardness you've got at showing your feelings. I shouldn't be that insecure." Paige whispered against his neck. Walter noticed she was trembling.
"That's not your fault. I've learned in the last couple of days that there are feelings we can't control." He sighed. "Look, when we had that arguing on Friday, I got destabilized. I've never counted with the possibility of our break up in my head cause... cause to me we were already endgame, everything is so freaking right when I'm with you that... it never occurred to me this could happen. And now we've been through this mess I realized I don't want ever spend my life without you again. That's the reason why I decided to do this. And it was also because I wanted you to have no more reasons for feeling insecure again. I wanted to prove you my feelings are real. I'm sorry if maybe I startled you, I've never intent to rush over things."
"Boy, you are breaking me down." She gave him a soft smile when she backed off his arms. Her eyes were still letting out some teardrops. "Yeah, I wasn't expecting this, but… I don't think you were rushing. Actually, I'm feeling horrible that my actions made you give up of your plan, I'm really sorry." Paige handed him the box. Walter took it back and sighed.
They kept silent for a while, not daring to look at each other. Inside his mind, Walter had a bunch of thoughts going on. When the noise in his brain became too much, he decided to make the move.
"Guess what? I doesn't matter." He stated, taking a break to prepare himself to what he was about to do. "I planned a big surprise, yeah, but right now I don't wanna wait for any second more to end with this tension between us." Walter stood up, and Paige gave him a desperate look. She didn't know if her heart could make it under the scene she knew it was about to happen. In a way, she had never had the chance to imagine it happening. It seemed so… a distant and unreachable dream.
But, against all that she ever expected to see, the genius quickly got on his knee.
"Oh, boy." She whispered to herself.
"Well." Walter took a deep breath and finally opened the box. Paige glanced at the ring. It was definitely the sweetest thing she had ever seen. So delicate and so beautiful. "Paige Dineen, I may don't know exactly how to do this, but still, will you marry…"
"Yes." She answered before he could finish the sentence. Walter looked at her eyes. "Yes, Walter, I'll marry you, and you did it just perfectly."
"Will you?" the shine on his eyes made her entire body to melt. God, at this point nothing else in the world mattered. Not Florence, not Drew, not anyone.
"Course I will. I love you." She stood up and took his hands, bringing him up with her.
"Ahm…" Walter got nervous when she stepped closer to his body. "Can I… Can I kiss you?" he awkwardly asked. Paige giggled.
"Yeah, I think that's how it usually works." She joked, and he smiled.
So, Walter leaned in to catch her lips in the most desperate way he had ever done. Paige kissed him back passionately while he quickly deepened it. It felt like they hadn't kissed for a life. And now that they were feeling their bodies together again, there was no more insecurity and no more tension between then. They just knew what they had… no one could ever break.
After a while since he held her waist and they kept kissing, Walter broke the moment to ask another question.
"Where's Ralph?" he whispered.
"Sleepover, a friend called Jack." She caressed his cheeks, without taking too much distance from his face.
"Hum. Good." He stated, making her laugh. She totally understood what he meant with the question, and, desperate to reach his seconds intentions, she came back kissing him.

Yeeeeey this is the end. Well, if you enjoyed the story... now it's time to review it, please, go make a writer happier!
Well, I wanted to say that this is what I genuinely think it could happen in the season finale. "Shocking turn" can mean just a few things in my view and I don't think the writers would run the risk of the ending the show in a bad way since no one knows if it's gonna be renewed or not. But, less likely but still, a shocking turn could also be a baby! I like to imagine that, and it really fits with the teaser that says "there are secrets that need to be revealed until the episode ends" AND with the synopses of 4x21 that states something about Paige's mother instincts. Maybe Paige and Walter take a break at 21 and at 22 she is pregnant and has no idea of what to do with the information. Who knows, yeah? Well, for me it would be an amazingggggg plot to develop if Paige and Happy got pregnant at the same time. But we will know just in a few days.
Soooo that's it. I apologize once more for the English mistakes. Please review the story, see you!
