If I owned Stargate Atlantis, it never would have ended! Therefore, I don't own it (sadface)

An hour of debating and a few face-offs between Rachel and J.J, they were nowhere close to agreeing on a plan to get Atlantis back to Pegasus.

"I'm telling you it's not the simple." J.J. said for at least the fourth time. Rachel's idea was to just hijack the Chair and send Atlantis back. Even if Meredith could install a program so the control tower couldn't override the chair, all it would take was one person to get to the chair and pull whoever was controlling it, off. Which would probably Rachel, the only one who had the ATA gene naturally, and who could control Ancient technology as easily as her father. J.J. couldn't help but be jealous, he was one of the 67% of people that the gene therapy wouldn't work with. The gene therapy worked with Meredith, but it wasn't like Rachel.

"But Jay-"

Meredith quickly cut her off, "Listen, we're debating over something that has already happened. Don't you remember what our parents always told us about why Atlantis came back to Pegasus Galaxy?" The other three looked at her and shook their heads. Meredith sighed, why was she not surprised? "An Ancient sent them back, maybe next time you'll listen to uncle Radek's stories."

J.J. muttered something under his breath about moonshine and Rachel punched him in the arm, "That's not nice."

He rubbed his arm, his sister could be so violent, "so you're saying that we just have to sit and wait?"

Meredith shook her head, "I did a little looking into the situation a few years ago and well, I'm not sure."

"Explain."

"I found a very well hidden hologram program hidden with in the operating system of Atlantis. I attempted to run it on one of the projectors, but it destroyed the projector. I didn't think much of it again."

"What does that have to do anything?" Sam growled.

"It was labled 'Ancient holo.' Who in Atlantis would need a hologram of an Ancient?"

"We would." Rachel said. "So does this mean we were always supposed to come back in time?"

Meredith shrugged, "maybe. You would think that our parents would have told us this. But that would have changed the future. . ."

"Mer, you can't change the past without changing the future." J.J. said wisely.

She looked away shamefaced, "I know that."

"So, here's the plan that we're going to go with." J.J. said, shooting a look at his sister before drawing out his plan.

Sam left J.J.'s room wishing he could do more to help. He always felt useless when science was involved, but at least he knew J.J. was just as useless. Most of his plan relied on Meredith's brain, which hopefully wouldn't fail them. But hadn't it already failed them? No one had mentioned it, but they had never meant to end up on Earth. They had meant to end up in the past of their planet.

Maybe he just shouldn't question those smarter than him on things like that.

"Where are you going?" J.J. asked.

He didn't know where he was going. He knew where he wanted to go, and that was where ever Rachel was going. But of course, Rachel was too scared (which she would never admit to being) to tell anyone in her family about them. He didn't like this, but if it was what she wanted he would go along with it.

"I don't know." he muttered.

"Where you guys going?" Rachel asked, bouncing up to them.

"Nowhere." J.J. said.

Rachel made a face at him, "Jerk. I wonder how Terra puts up with you."

"At least someone puts up with me." He shot back, "Beside, we're really not going anywhere."

Sam gave Rachel a 'sorry' look, "Has anyone seen Torren?"

"I'll find him." Rachel said, "You two have fun going nowhere." Rachel walked off in search of their friend.

"You should be nice to each other." Sam said after Rachel turned a corner.

J.J. laughed, "I'll be nice when she does. Not all siblings get along like you guys do."

Sam and his sisters were some of the closest siblings on Atlantis. They really didn't understand why other sibling fought all the time and "hated" each other. Makanna and Makayla were twins and were about 4 years older than Sam. Being twins made the two of them close, but they were almost opposites. Makanna is tough as nails while Makayla is quiet and shy. When Sam had been born they looked after him as he grew up and he knew he couldn't have had better sisters. They were protective of each other, which made his relationship with Torren a little sketchy as Makayla and him were practically engaged. More like engaged to be engaged. They had been dating for a long time and both admitted they wanted to get married, they just didn't know when.

Meredith had been standing in the background, listening to them. "I need to get to work." She announced suddenly and scurried off. She had to start building the holo program, look at personel files, fix the equation so they could go back home and a million other things to do.

Sam felt bad, mentioning either of his sisters upset Meredith. Makanna and Meredith did not get along and everyone knew that Meredith had a thing for Torren but Torren did not have one for her. It was a complicated triangle.

"So where are we going?" J.J. asked again.

"Torren! Come out come out where ever you are?" Rachel called, "Are you down this dark and incredibly creepy hallway? Please say no." Why had she even ended up here? This was the hallway Torren and his family lived on, but it was all dark and dusty. 'Damn.' She thought 'They must not live down here yet. No one lives down here.' She turned around to go back to the transporter, but a noise caught her attention. It was a scratching noise followed by some scuffling, like feet dragging. "What the hell? Is someone there? J.J., I swear to God if that is you-" Something hit her in the chest, cutting her off and causing everything to go darker than it already was.

Well. . . I really don't have anything to say..
