Hmm, I like some of the ideas people have been giving me for the pairing, the only thing I need help on is how will George be able to communicate with the dinosaurs?

Answers to reviews:

WolveHulk: Thanks.

JDTank75: Hmm, good point.

darkwarp: I like it. Though could you think of ideas on HOW he'll understand her?

BrxkenArrow: I appreciate the idea but I'm sticking with the pairing I have. Besides, there's no Lemons in this story, this will be one of the few I don't out as Rated M with Lemons and stuff.

Desert assasion: Got it.

George was sitting with Diego and Sid, the latter making a fire, after coming back from taking a walk while Manny went off with Ellie. The three friends then noticed Manny approach and Diego asked the question. "So...how did it go?"

"Hmm...not bad." Manny said before an angry Ellie went past him, Crash and Eddie on her back, and Manny groaned as the fire got extinguished thanks to Ellie stepping on a puddle that sent the water onto it.

"Okay, let's go." Ellie said in an angry and impatient tone. "We travelled with you all day, now you're coming with us at night." She went off.

"But... We can't see at night." Manny argued.

She stopped and looked back. "Then enjoy the flood." And then she walked off again.

"Making friends. Everywhere you go, just making friends." Sid said as they followed the angry trio. George sighed, rubbing his forehead. This was going to give him a headache.

The trio followed the trio of two possums and one female mammoth onto a rocky area. Crash and Eddie scouting ahead, George noticed a stump and walked over it. Sid...not so much.

"Watch out, there's a stump." Crash called.

"Not anymore." Sid groaned.

George shook his head with a sigh and felt like shooting himself.. If he had one one of his guns on him bad unfortunately he doesn't. George, Sid, and Diego hung back at the rear, watching Manny try to apologize in a way that clearly wasn't working with how Crash and Eddie were insulting him. George shook his head before falling through a rock at the same time as crash and Eddie did.

Everything started moving and everyone became separated on their own rock pieces. Manny and Ellie on one, Sid hanging onto Diego's feet, who was hanging onto the rock piece Manny and Ellie were on. George, Crash and Eddie were on their own.

"Stop moving!" Diego yelled and everything stilled, nobody moved. "Thank you." The sabertooth said in relief. The rock piece broke through another and Sid was sent crashing onto his own as cracks started to appear in the top rock piece. "Manny! Ellie! Lock trunks! Now!" The two mammoths reluctantly did. "George grab onto that ledge!"

George nodded and scooped up Crash and Eddie before carefully trying to make his way onto the ledge. And Manny just had to speak of the incident between him and Ellie.

"I'm sorry if what I said before offended you." He apologized sort of.

"What do you mean if it offended me?!" Ellie demanded.

"Now?! You are really bringing this up now?!" George yelled, shaking his head. "Unbelievable. Also, THAT it offended her Manny!" He yelled to the mammoth as the Ledge broke and George held onto Crash's tail when he nearly fell off his shoulder.

"I mean that! That it offended you!" Manny corrected. "You just overreacted, that's all."

"WHAT?!" Ellie and George yelled. Who would overreact to being told they had to mate with the opposite gender of their species just to save it?! That's not overreacting! She had a bloody right to react like that!

"Take it back!" George agreed with Crash on that one.

"There are other lives at stake here." And with Eddie on that one.

"Wait a minute, he's got a point!" Sid yelled to them, deciding to add his own two cents in.

"He's got nothing!" Eddie yelled back.

"It was a misunderstanding!"

"It was insensitive!" Crash, Eddie, and George yelled. The latter pulling the possum onto his shoulder again and looking around for a way off this ride.

"Apologize!" Diego yelled

"Why me? She overreacted!" Manny stayed defiant.

"Just apologize!" George yelled, starting to loose his own patience.

"No!"

"Do it!" George and Diego demanded.

"Okay, I'm sorry!" Ellie yelled and everything stilled.

"WHAT?!" Everyone yelled in shock.

"He's right, I overreacted."

Suddenly, everything began falling apart. "Okay, time to go!" George yelled as he ran for it, the two possums clutching his jacket tightly. George jumped from ledge to kedge before eventually landing on the ground with the others while Manny and Ellie caught Diego. George breathed a sigh if relief and stayed laying on the ground with a heavy breathing Crash and Eddie leaning against his sides joining him. George only had one thing to say about all this.

"Never again."

Later, they found a good place to camo and George slept against a tree, Crash and Eddie against his sides. Ellie smiled as she approached, before carefully taking Crash and Eddie up onto the tree branch, then climbing up herself while George stayed leaning against the tree trunk.

The next morning- George got woken up when something hits the tree trunk and he fell into what felt like water with Ellie, Crash and Eddie. George spat water out of his mouth with an unamused expression as Crash and Eddie jumped onto his shoulders, shrugging when he sent them confused looks of what was going on as half the camp was filled with water.

"What's happening?" Ellie asked.

"We overslept." Manny answered. "We need to move."

"What if we're the last creatures left alive?" Eddie asked. "We'll have to repopulate the Earth!"

"I..really don't want to know how we would agree to that as there's just one female and a couple of guys." George said with a shake of his head. "Where's our Sloth?" He looked around.

"Right here." Said Sloth walked into view. "Wow, what a night. You'll never guess what happened to me."

"Sleepwalking." George said with a raised eyebrow.

"No, I was kidnapped by a tribe of Mini sloths."

"That was going to be my guess." Diego said sarcastically. The group then continues on, ignoring Sid going on about the mini sloths worshipping him. A few minutes passed and George was on Ellie's back, after she let him up, with Crash and Eddie. The group then all noticed the vultures watching them, a LOT of vultures.

"You know, usually Vultures go for the dead." George whispered to everyone.

"I wish I one what they were thinking." Sid whispered back.

Food, glorious food…we're anxious to try it
Three banquets a day, our favorite diet!
Just picture a mammoth steak, fried, roasted or stewed
Oh, food, wonderful food, marvelous food, glorious food!

Food, glorious food,

Poached possum served flambé,

Broth made from a sloth,

Or a saber-tooth souffle,

Why should we be fated to, do nothing but brood, on food, magical food, wonderful food, marvelous food?!

Food, glorious food, flesh picked off the dead ones.

Rank, rotten, or chewed, soon, we'll be the fed ones!

Just thinking of putrid meat Puts us in a mood for food, glorious food, marvelous food, fabulous food, beautiful food, Magical food,

Glorious food!

At the end of the song, thebherd had went off a cliff and were hanging on an branch above the ground, the vultures watching them. Everyone was holding onto someone.

"There. Now you now what they were thinking." Manny told Sid before branch snapped and theybfell to the ground, the vultures flying off afterwards.

"Food! Glorious food!" Sid sang.

"SID!" Manny, George, and Diego yelled at the sloth.

"What? It's catchy." Sid shrugged before they all looked forward as they reached the top of the hill to see they had made it to their destination...

The boat at the end of the valley.

Who enjoyed that song? I sure as hell did. Sorry if the typing sucked. We are close to the end if Ice Age 2, probably one or two more chapters and we'll be on the third.

So, I need ideas on how George will communicate with Momma Dinosaur.
