When the girls left, Stacie sat on her couch. Her eyes fell on the picture that was still on the coffee table where she left it.

She knew she had to inform the others about how the visit went. But she couldn't help thinking about that fatal day. The girls questions had brought back so many memories.

Tears welled up in her eyes as she looked at it. They had all been so happy on that picture. And now three of them were gone. She had lost her arm that day but she was lucky considered in comparison to what happened to the others.

She would give her right arm too if she could bring back the others. She would do anything she could to release the pain that some of them still had today.

The Bellas camping trip had been a disaster, but their last weekend together had ended in a nightmare. She could never forget the sight of blood that was splattered around the house they had been staying in.

College bound Stacie didn't listen to her doctors. Grown up Stacie hadn't change much. After her surgery, doctors had recommended her to get an prosthetic arm. She had refused. She was proud of herself with or without all her limbs intact. Besides living with one arm would help her remember to be grateful for what she had. To be grateful she was still here on earth. She simply refused to let her missing arm define her.

Her missing arm reminded her of the three Bellas that gave up more that day. Yes, she may have lost her arm while protecting her friends, they had lost their lives to make sure the rest of them still would have a live.

She would never forget how brave Ashley was. She willingly took the bullet that took her life in order to safe the life of her pregnant best friend. Nobody could have known then that Jessica's pregnancy would end in a miscarriage due to the things that happened that day.

She would never forget how brave Legacy was that day. She never doubted to take the punishment that was meant for her aca moms. That fatal day their Legacy lost her voice. She was still there but she couldn't talk anymore.

She never would forget the sight of Flo lying in a pool of blood. The little Guatemalan woman was beaten to death with an iron pipe. Slaughtered like she was some sort of animal.

She would never forget the sound of her and Beca's daughter crying when he chopped off her arm while she brought the two little girls in safety.

Stacie forced herself to stop thinking about that day. It was too painful. None of her friends deserved what happened to them. No one in the world deserved what happened to them.

She dried her tears and put back the picture where it belonged. It was no use living in the past.

In another state

Cynthia Rose was waiting impatiently to hear something from Stacie. The black Bella was one of them that was left with severe scars.

That fatal day she lost the sight in her left eye. Well she completely lost her left eye that day to be honest. And she lost the hearing in her right ear.

Every day when she saw herself in the mirror she was reminded of that fatal day. It had cost her her career. She couldn't fly anymore. Every thing she worked so hard for was destroyed in a couple of hours.

She could never forget how she had witnessed the quiet bella dying in her arms. Her own blood dripping on the Asian girls body while she refused to let her friend go.

Or how she first had to see how he beat Aubrey up with a baseball bat. The blonde had fallen unconscious on the floor. He kept hitting until he had enough.

Aubrey had survived but had been seriously injured. She had lost a part of het right leg. And he had caused her so much internal damage, that she would never be able to carry a child.

The same state, different city

Curled up in a ball on her bed, Jessica was waiting to hear something from her friend. The girls questions had brought up to many bad memories. Memories of flashbacks she couldn't ever forget.

The blonde soprano had been pregnant at the time. It had been her first pregnancy and she was excited to learn that she would have a daughter.

She had blocked most of the things that happened that day from her mind. But she could never forget how scared she had been when he pointed a gun to her head. Paralysed from shock she just stood there. Unable to say or do something.

Then Ashley had come to her rescue. Without thinking she jumped before her. The brunette had pushed her on the ground. She told her she loved her. Then the bullet that was meant for her killed her best friend.

After Ashley's dead she decided to call her daughter after the woman who saved them both. The event had caused so much stress to her that she lost her child. She divorced from her already estranged husband and moved away. Since then she had lived alone.
