Echo awakened with a yawn as he slowly rose from the bed he layed in. Everything took time registering, specifically the mass amount of soreness the protested any further movement. A familiar smell wafted in the air. The smell of something undeniably sweet and fluffy. Pancakes. Ignoring any sense of pain, he somersaulted off of the bed to his clothes and continued to sprint like a madman out of the dorms and into the workshop.

When the hatch door slammed open, doll nearly jumped up 5ft in the air. "Hey Elena! Making pancakes!?" He said excited to finally taste something other than his own blood. "Why yes dear hunter." She said in slight delay, remembering the name he had given her. She shuffled the last of the golden brown goods as Echo watched in absolute awe.

Doll allowed him to have his treat, and did he have his treat. Forgetting everything about civilization, he simply crammed the first few cakes into his mouth with delight. He then realized that he should savor his reward and slowed down. He enjoyed each bite while doll simply watched. Since she really couldn't eat or consume anything, she just watched and wondered if this is how he acted on the hunt. "Is it good hunter?" She asked as he continued his feeding."Elena if I liked it anymore, you'd be in a wedding gown right now." He said with a smirk on his face as she ran out covering her face in response.

Once finishing he walked out to see her sitting on a small elevation from the steps. "Hey Elena. If you may, could you please channel my strength like last time? I may need it for the next hunt." He said as she nodded. Silently she knelt down and held his hand. He allowed the surges through him and let out a satisfied sigh. "Thanks. Also I wasn't kidding." He said with a wink.

He disappeared at the tombstone, leaving a confused and embarrassed doll. "He acts like I'm human. Why though?" She wondered out loud.

Echo reappeared and found the father and daughter leaning on each other, asleep. He smiled softly as he continued through a graveyard. Their he found two tall men moving about. One going down some stairs away from him, and another entering the graveyard from another set of stairs.

"Time for work..." He mumbled as he kinda wanted to kick in for the day or whatever he could measure the time in this world. The taste of the syrupy pancakes still drifted on his tongue and mind, causing him to almost droll under his mask.

A man had noticed him as he finished his fantasy walk down the steps and roared, attracting the other back into the yard. The men fought in such a way so human like, it was scary. He dodged a quick jab of a staff as his cleaver ran into his chest. He than duck under a swipe from the one who had entered and kicked his knee as he pulled the weapon out of the other. He fell to a knee as he cleaved his weapon down from his shoulder into his chest. He felt their blood echoes enter him as he pushed on only to hear chains and thumping. He turned and saw a large beast, as tall as a building, patrol by. He followed silently in pursuit. He watched as it stopped at a second gate too low for him to move through and mindlessly turned to see him.

He held a large battle axe as he now began to attack. Slamming the massive weapon down and effectively destroying anything in its path. Echo dodged just in time and charged at his ankles. His cleaver slashed out his Achilles heel. He dropped with a low pained groan as Echo circled back around. Now face to face. He jumped on the head of his axe and brought out his own. He than slammed it into the giant's skull. The giant dropped with a rumbling thud with a man rolling the remaining soreness in his arms and shoulders.

"Thanks for the work- OH SHIT FIRE" He screamed as he jumped away from a flame sprayer. He moved to the side and quickly used a trick attack to rip him in half. He moved through the ally ways and found himself cutting through hoards of beasts. "Damn! How many of you cunts are there!?" He screamed in frustration.

Finally he found himself in front of the church doors. He walked of the stairs. He found massive groups of messengers holding notes and letters about a beast ahead. "Time for fire I guess." He said glancing at a message.

He than found a small woman sitting in a temple room. She clutched a pendant to her chest and prayed. "Please... please don't come near me..." she begged him softly. Only to find herself transforming into a large beast. He watched in horror as her flesh sprouted fur and grew and ripped, till she was a massive beast.

She turned with a hungry look to her. He let out a gulp as she roared at him. She charged in a seconds notice and he was sure he was going to be sent back to the dream. The following actions was never expected from such a beast. She snatched him off the ground and huddled over him. He had no time to register this as he dropped his saw cleaver and gun. She looked from under her headdress at the man in her claws as he stared back in shock and awe.

He attempted to pick back up his weapons but he was foiled by a clawed arm swiping him into a stony pillar. He felt his breath leave his body so suddenly he couldn't even remember to breath when he was picked up from the ground by the monster. It whimpered and snarled at him until it caught a scent. It sniffed him up in down as he struggled to take in air, pushing out instead of in. She growled in a lighter tone as she gave another sniff and tucked him close to her chest and pendant. He had no idea what was going on but the white fluffy fur comforted his bruises and, maybe broken, bones. She purred as she curled up and he felt the odd embrace of such a beast.

A surge of sleep induced thoughts swept into him as she cuddled the man. Echo was so use to the cold air of the streets that the feeling was intoxicating. The two feel into slumber as the beast soon subconsciously turned back into the woman who was once scared out of her mind about herself. She now slept peacefully and felt herself imprint onto the hunter as he showed something. Something... beastly.
