Julien chuckled, eyes love heavy as he just stared at the bird before him. His finger traced over her wing as he chuckled lightly.
"You know... I can't believe I never saw you like this before, Julie..." Kitka tilted her head and smiled with lowered eyelids as well.
"Mm...like what?" The king questioned her words.
"Like... this! I never saw how charming and sweet you are before..." Kitka chuckled, playing with the fur on the lemur's ear with her other wing.
"Oh thank you!" Julien then purred. "You are not too bad yourself," He slid a finger under her beak teasingly. ",you know…"
"What...?"
"You are beautiful! Look at you, silly predator!" Julien exclaimed, beholding her. "What, were you not knowing dat?"
Kitka chuckled. "I never thought about it..."
"Well I am thinking about it!" The king exclaimed. "I cannot STOP thinking about it!"
The falcon giggled, flattered. "Really?" she batted her eyelashes at him.
"Of course!"
"Ooh, you're so sweet, Juju..."
Julien snorted in amusement. "Juju?"
"What...? It's cute!" she smirked.
"No…YOU are cute!" The lemur poked the tip of her beak playfully.
"No, YOU'RE cute." the falcon giggled, pulling the lemur closer.
"Yes you are right, I am."
Kitka pressed her beak against his lips in a kiss.

"…I'm just saying…!" Skipper went on. "It wasn't-"
Maurice, Mort, Rico, Private, and Kowalski rolled their eyes and said simultaneously in monotone. "-It wasn't Kitka."
"-wasn't Kitka." Mort finished last in the group. Everyone looked at him and he gave a giggle.
Skipper blinked at them, continuing walking. They were at the gates of the zoo. "So all of you HAVE been paying attention to me…Good."
Kowalski let out a sigh. When would his leader let go of his little belief?
Yeaaaah though he was not a genius when it came to the art of feelings and touchy subjects, even he knew the answer to this one. Never. The answer was never.
Mort skipped in front of everyone in the line, heading through the zoo gates. He was the only one happy. "Oh yay we're home! Did we find King Julien?"
"No." Kowalski answered simply.
"Oh…" Mort frowned sadly, looking down.
The penguin analyst sighed.
"…I mean I'm JUST saying ANYONE could have stolen a single LEAF from ring-tail's crown! Is that so HARD to believe?" Skipper chuckled but no one laughed with him as he looked around.
Marlene walked up to the returning group. "Hey guys I have GREAT news its-"
Skipper exploded. "IT WASN'T KITKA! DO YOU ALL HEAR ME? IT WASN'T-" The leader continued but Rico had placed a fishbowl over his head, Skipper continuing on regardless but they couldn't hear him.
Marlene raised a confused. "Okay…no…its not that…" She blinked at Kowalski, pointing to the leader penguin about to ask but was stopped. "What's with-?"
Kowalski moved his flipper to the lemur habitat and pointed at something there.
The otter turned. "Yeah that was the surprise I mentioned earlier…you know…five seconds ago…but hey Julien's back!"
"YAY KING JULIEN!" Mort ran for their habitat.
Maurice gave a sigh of relief that the king was alright.
Marlene wasn't done yet. "Uh huh and that's not all, no! Someone…okay…has a girl in their habitat!" She announced.
"A girl? ... Since when?" Kowalski asked, narrowing his eyes.
Marlene shrugged. "Since you guys left?"
"Uh... Skipper?" Kowalski looked at the leader, expecting his reactions to this.
The leader smashed the fishbowl on his head with a random hammer. "Well there you see? Ring-tail was just playing hooky from the zoo! I told you all," Skipper went on walking right in front of the lemur habitat with closed eyes. He opened them. "-that this has absolutely NOTHING to do with Kit- HUH?!"
Private gasped with flippers over his beak, covering his own eyes.
Rico raised a brow. "Wooooow..."
Maurice did too. "...your majesty?"
Kitka and King Julien were at the bar kissing.
Skipper's eye twitched.
Kowalski gulped. This wasn't going to end well...
"WHAT IN THE NAME OF EISENHOWER'S AND ROOSEVELT'S GUT?! RING-TAIL?! KITKA!?"
The female bird's eyes widened. She pulled away and gasped. "O-oh, Uh... H-hi S-Skipper!" she greeted like nothing happened.
"Hello silly penguins!" Julien greeted with a wave, casually.
"I need an explanation here!" Skipper demanded.
"An explanation for what?" Kitka kept her nervous grin, pretending to know nothing about anything.
"For THIS!" Skipper whined, gesturing between the two. "What's happening here!"
"Oh uh... w-we're together now..." the falcon said simply with a smile.
"Yeah!" Julien laughed. "We totally are being!"
"B-but HOW on earth did you- WHAT on this earth is-" Skipper stammered.
Kowalski cleared his throat and stepped forward. "I believe what Skipper is trying to say here can be translated simply into this… : WHAT, WHY, WHEN AND HOW!" He coughed then added. "And sometimes WHO."
"I ain't no owl buddy!" Julien responded crossly with a waving of his gray fist.
Kitka laughed then stroked the lemur's back fur, calming him a bit. "Well... I can tell you when this started... It was... uhm... a few hours ago... Why do you ask?"
"A few hours ago!?" The leader exclaimed. "Kowalski I need an analysis here!"
The scientist wore a proud smirk on his face. "It seems I was correct. Julien's disappearance WAS caused by Kitka."
"SHUT UP KOWALSKI!" Skipper glared.
Kowalski blinked. "Uh, o-okay..."
Kitka chuckled. "Skipper! Why are you so tense? Julien asked for a quick fly over the city, so I gave him one. No harm done..."
"You were kissing!" The leader whined. "With your faces! We never even got to do that!"
Kitka raised a brow. "For your information, we were about to... but Julien interrupted, remember?" she chuckled a little, eyeing the monarch.
"HA! It is being in your FACE, silly penguin!" King Julien gloated, pointing in the commander's face.
"If you're so angry now that I have Julien as my pair instead of you, then why did you break up with me?" the falcon narrowed her eyes at the penguin.
"Um…" Skipper looked away, rubbing the back of his head trying to think of a suitable excuse.
