Chapter 4

Logan laid on his bed later that night. Rather, sometime between the last hours of the night and the earliest of the morning. His head throbbed due to all the alcohol he'd consumed over the course of the night at Mystic, and he wanted nothing more than to go to sleep.

But he couldn't. Those damn pink bunny ears danced across his mind and filled his head. She hadn't been on his mind so much since tenth grade, when he'd tried to plot ways to get back at her for walking in his area, when he'd reveled in having control over her because he'd taken her hat, and most of all, when he'd realized he had some kind of twisted admiration of her.

Louise Belcher was a phenomenon in and of herself: cunning, conniving, manipulative; and now piercingly stunning. She alone the ability had the ability to get under his skin and on every nerve in his body, then make him stay up late wondering about her, and to go right back to being unable to stand her. And after seeing her that night, he couldn't decide how he felt about her.

With a small smile, Logan realized how he could see Louise again. She'd hate him for it, but that was part of the fun.

Logan was shaken from his thoughts when the bathroom door opened. Paige stood there, leaning against the doorway, wearing nothing but a dainty little black lace babydoll slip. Her light brown locks spilled over her shoulders, making her look somewhat fragile.

She smiled sweetly at him, walking slowly over towards their bed. She climbed onto it next to Logan. "Hey, baby," crooned Paige, giggling a bit. The lingerie-clad woman stretched herself out, wiggling her hips sensually as she bent her head to kiss Logan.

Logan, his headache worsening, frowned in frustration. "Not tonight," he mumbled, roughly shoving Paige off of him. She cried out, upset at being pushed away and attempting to make Logan think that he'd hurt her.

Even so, Logan ignored Paige. An unhappy glare took over his face as he rolled over onto his side of the bed, pulling more of the blanket onto himself. As Paige sighed next to him, audibly unhappily, Logan welcomed the tumultuous dreams awaiting him.
