Alucard and Seras senses were assaulted by the smell of perfumes and cigar smoke. Neon lights blazed and electric music sent a throbbing pulse. They stood on the roof of the club, the tucks were coming into position a block away. Seras hairs stood on end, she could sense at least 80 vampires crawling throughout club while young delectable humans excitedly entered, unaware of the predators surrounding them. Extending her senses further she detected the trafficked humans further beneath the building; virgin, afraid and so very young. Seras barred her fangs, one was only 5 years old Alucard pressed his thumb against Seras throat, rubbing her pulse point as he sensed her anger. He lifted Seras up and nuzzled her ear. Calm yourself draculina. Retrieve the humans, I will handle the vampires.
Seras mewled, tension seeping from her small body. Alucard released her. She wrapped her body in shadows, blending into the night. Seras darted through an open window, swerving between legs. She spotted a vampire guarding a passageway, he stood unnaturally quiet. He was a big as her master, yet the throngs of people occupying the club seemed completely unaware of him. If she wasn't a vampire she probably would never have noticed him either. Seras leapt to the ceiling and scanned the club. All the club goers were human but the staff were vampires, from the bartenders to the DJ playing music. In the corner of her eye she spotted one vampire beckoning a young girl towards him. She was entranced, ensnared in his gaze. Seras ran across the ceiling, she landed soundlessly next to her and sank her fangs into her ankle.
Go home!
The girl yelped. She looked down at her leg yet nothing was there. A wave of nausea assaulted her, she had waited so long to get into the club, it was all her friends could talk about, yet she felt if she stayed a minute longer she would go insane. She quickly turned around manoeuvring her way to the entrance. The vampire gaped in shock as his prey escaped him. Seras wanted to tear his throat out, she should sense his grotesque thoughts, his degrading intentions. But her master would take care of him, she had her priorities, and so she turned her attention back to the guard.
Another vampire approached him, tall beautiful but with a depraved smile on her lips that no beauty could disguise. Seras probably wasn't one to judge considering the moral standing of her master and the arguably cruel actions of her superior, even Seras had taken the lives of both vampires and humans. Her master, however; was a wholly separate entity from any human or supernatural being. Too powerful to empathise with humans, too old to engage in the petty ambitions of his kind. He seemed to be perpetually bored with the world, except when it came to his fledgling. Seras honestly did not know whether her master was capable of feeling love but she knew he felt attachment towards her, as strong as the attachment she felt towards to him.
These thoughts seemed to ruminate in her mind as she darted past the vampires through the entrance. The guard felt an echo of consciousness as he opened the door to the vampiric guest yet it passed in an instant, taking with it any memory of unease.
The basement of the club was a maze of corridors and rooms, unlike the stone brick structure of the Hellsing basement, this building was dripping with elaborate statues, paintings, accents and other decorative extravagances. But, having spent decades with the cultured heiress of Hellsing organisation, caused her to realise much of the decadence were copies of classic art. Nothing but hollow imitations. She passed dozens of mingling vampires engaged in power plays and slithering schemes. Her master would no doubt enjoy killing them as he viewed such vampires as insults to the name Nosferatu, none seemed to possess the power or grandeur of past Hellsing enemies. Seras stopped infant of a barren wall. Her senses told her that the humans lay beyond it. She supposed there was some hidden lever or lock to open it but she merely phased through the wall.
60 humans exactly. A few had been hypnotised into sleep, judging by the bruises some of them had, they were likely the ones who had fought back. Many were silent, consumed in their dark predictions, while others were devoid of conscious, their minds having been broken after witnessing the horrors committed by their capturers. The room was clean yet completely dark, and with their human eyes, they were practically blind. Seras could see all of them and besides their rising chests, the only signs of life they showed was the occasional whimper
Seras expanded her power, reaching every crevasse and encasing every human. She wrapped herself around the minds of every individual dulling their fear and taking their despair. And then with a shuddering pulse, she teleported all of them to the Hellsing soldiers. Captain Bernard gasped, one moment they were standing in wait for the vampiric agents and the next 60 humans appeared before them. Both groups regarded each other in confusion before the Captain's mind snapped to attention and he barked orders to his gaping subordinates.
Seras heaved, she had done that only once before when a recruit drove a tank into the swimming pool. Just as she was about to turn around to leave the entrance opened. Three vampires stood in shock at the now empty room, their gazes landing on the now visible kitten. Whelp, looked like she would be killing some vampires tonight
As soon as Alucard sensed the humans leaving the building he made his way into the club. He was unnoticed by all as he stood in the elevated VIP area. He could easily just start killing the vampires but knew it would undoubtedly enrage Integra who would impose a mundane punishment on him. Like weeding the manor's 50 yards worth of gardens. Granted he used his powers to complete the deed in mere minutes, yet the sight of the No-life King performing such an act caused his draculina to laugh uncontrollably. He grinned remembering the sweet cries she made later that night.
He signed as he released his powers commanding every human to leave. The vampires were frozen in bewilderment as the crowd seemingly moved as a single unit, leaving the club empty in seconds. Alucard then sealed every exit
Pulling out the Jackal and Casull he fired at the vampires. They screamed in agony, some drew their weapons and fired at him. Bullets spewed forth shedding through Alucard yet he continued to laugh delighting in the destruction he was causing. More vampires flooded into the room bringing in heavier guns until finally, he collapsed. Relief swept through them at they tentatively crept towards his corpse. One vampire prodded him with his boot, staring down at his mangled body. Alucard smiled at him. He shrieked, staggering back as Alucard impaled his hand through his chest and tore out his heart. The vampires cried with fear, firing off their weapons again, with little care if they were harming their partners, the only thought that possessed them was to down the monster before he killed them. Alucard bathed in their fear, tearing each vampire apart until blood pooled along the floor, decorating the walls
He entered the basement, as patrons and staff scrambled about, banging on exits, crying in terror. He tore through the building. Rendering vampires into nothing more than slabs of flesh.
Seras leapt on onto the nearest vampire. In this form using her fangs and claws would be pointless so she expelled her shadows, wrapping them around her targets throat and squeezing until his head burst off. The other two vampires hissed in outraged. One tried to grab her as she leapt off the vampire's corpse, the other pulled out his gun trying to get a fix on her. Seras darted across the room, even with their vampiric senses they could barely keep track of her. She propelled her shadows forward into a giant spear and impaled one of the vampires throw the chest, hoisting him up in a macabre display that would no doubt delight her master. The remaining vampire fled. He had no idea what that thing was, only that it would kill him if he didn't run fast enough. Unfortunately, he was facing the No Life Queen. Her shadows easily captured him. He cried in sheer terror, he clawed at the ground, yet Seras merely drew him leisurely towards herself. She turned her shadows to impaleā¦Fire ripped through he
Seras cried as her body was thrown to the side. She could feel multiple bullets melting her flesh. Staggering up she saw a towering vampire. A pristine white suit, long blonde hair, brown skin and amber eyes. She panted in pain, yet pushed passed it. Trying to invade his mind, she came up against a barrier yet discovered who he was. As she suspected he was Luke John. Shit, she couldn't just kill this one. Seras expelled more of her shadows attempting to restrain him as she tried to expel the bullets from her body.
"Well can't say I've ever faced a vampire like you before" Luke declared breezily as he moved swiftly like a whip, dogging the striking shadows. This one was far more powerful than the vampires he employed. They were his fledglings and judging by their master they should have been a lot stronger. Was he unaware how to do so or was he deliberately keeping them that way so they wouldn't be a threat? Seras shook the thought from her mind, she would find the answers after she captured him.
"You've caused quite a lot of trouble, I'll enjoy feeding you to my dogs," Luke laughed as he deftly moved between the shadows. However; Seras senses were a lot sharper than his, she kept track of his moments, spotting a pattern she moved her shadows into place tearing at his limps. Luke cried in agony, furiously he drew out a second gun and fired indiscriminately towards her. Seras hissed, she summoned her shadows in front of her blocking them out but one nailed her in the shoulder causing her to collapse. Luke grinned triumphantly, his face bloody as he stalked towards her. Seras barred her fangs, she would not be defeated by this little shit. She was about to summon her shadows again when the wall beside Luke exploded sending him crashing into the other side. Alucard stepped through in all his unholy glory, the vampire Seras had been chasing laid limply behind him.
"You dare touch my Childe!" Alucard thundered. Luke staggered up, he locked gazes with the No Life king, the Ultimate vampire. His body was paralysed in fright, weapons laid forgotten beside him as he gasped, choking on his own fear.
"She. Is. Mine' Alucard hissed as he tore through his mind with excruciating cruelty. He ripped apart his psyche, pulling out every piece of information contained in his arrogant mind. When he was done his body laid slack against the wall, his eyes clouded with unconsciousness. Not enough. Alucard summoned his shadows, taking the form of a ravenous beast it consumed him, there would be nothing left besides dog shit.
Alucard stalked towards his panting fledgling, she tried to stand and was about to collapse when Alucard swept her up into his arms. He had just finished off the last of the vampires when he felt her pain vibrate down their bond. He felt blazing fury when he spotted her bloody form. Alucard used his shadows to delve softly into her body, removing each bullet with gentleness. Nonetheless, agony resonated through her, Seras gritted she would not cower in pain caused by that filth in front of her master. Alucard tongued at her wounds. Relax draculina, the fight is over.
Seras felt her self encased in warmth as Alucard transported themselves back to the manor
Phew, that was a long one. It was so ironic. Just like last time I was gonna write a new chapter, but then my computer broke down. Twice. It was a real shame since I felt the urge to write. Sorry that this didn't have the general fluffy goodness. I'm actually a very plot focused writer, it's a natural part of my writing. Next chapter there will be a lemon, thanks for all the feedback. I imagined it as filthy, frankly I think a good lemon is one that gets you tingly. It will probably be released around the start of April at the latest, we'll just have to see when I finished. Please let me know wether you liked this chapter. If you didn't like the plot focus then I'll dial it back.
