Just a Doll

"Luna! Luna!" Seto called out into a long, dark cobblestone hallway of a deadly parkour map.

"Seto, stop this madness! Luna isn't real!" The familiar voice of Sky demanded, Seto looking back to see Sky hesitating to jump over lava to his friend. "You don't understand!" Seto cried, running into the hallway. "Luna! Lunaaaa!"

"You're like a little sorceress in that cloak, Luna!" A young Seto complimented, hugging a girl.

The girl, titled Luna, had blonde hair and blue eyes, her body covered with a dark pink cloak, her visible skin covered in scratches and dirt.

"A…a what?" Luna asked, watching the young Seto turn a knob over a tub, making water come out of the faucet.

"A sorceress! One of the magical people you would read in fairy tales!" the boy chimed in happiness, turning the water off when the tub was halfway full. "Oh…" Luna muttered.

"You do know how to take a bath right?" Seto asked, looking at Luna with regretless, innocent brown eyes. "Um…I think so…" "Ok! Then I guess… I'll be waiting in my room!" Seto smiled, leaving the bathroom.

"God damnit Seto!" Sky called out, jumping over the lava finally before running after his friend, Jerome suddenly right behind him.

Sky then stepped aside, letting Jerome run past with great bacca speed, pouncing on Seto when he got close enough. "Gah! Jerome! Get off me! Now!" Seto screamed, falling to the floor under the brown bacca's weight.

"Sorry buddy, but you need some help," Jerome replied, waiting for Sky to catch up. "NO! I said…GET…OFF!" Jerome was suddenly launched into the air and slammed into one of the walls by blue and purple tendrils of magic that kept him pinned there.

Jerome groaned in pain, Sky stopping in his tracks. "I have to…find Luna.." Seto choked out, trying not to cry. "Dude…she's not real.."

"No, she is! Why do you not believe me?!" Tendrils of blue and purple started to swirl around Seto's hands before circling around his entire body as his emotions started to take control of his magic.

Jordan, aka CaptainSparklez, suddenly appeared behindSeto with a clap of thunder. "Seto.." Jordan said calmly.

Seto jumped, turning around to hit whoever was behind him – since Seto and Jordan haven't yet met – only to have both his wrists grabbed and held tightly. "L-let go!" Seto screamed, the tendrils moving from Seto to Jordan, trying to reach his neck.

"She's not real, Seto…" Jordan said, completely ignoring the magic. "B-but...that's not…true.." Seto choked out, tears falling down his face. Jordan shook his head, trying to keep calm and collective. "She's only a doll Seto…"

"B-but…"

"I bought the doll…sent it to you for your birthday anonymously…but… with a spell…"

Seto's eyes went wide in both shock and disbelief. He wasn't ready to face the truth as he stared at Jordan with sad eyes. "N-no…not true.." Seto's voice was shaken, his hands trembling while his mind was still trying to grasp the reality.

"The spell made the doll look like a real human to the person it was gifted to… you were having a tough time with friends so I…"

Jordan sighed, a little shaken himself now. "I thought I could help…"

Seto stared at Jordan for a second, his mind finally grasping the reality of it all before he hugged Jordan, sobbing aloud. "S-she was… the best present…ever..."

"T-Thank you so much…."
