Musa and Riven finally made it to Magix FBI headquarters; the building was big and made of completely bullet proof glass. The sun was shinning through the glass making Musa's hair shine in the light; it brought back a memory of her hair dancing in the wind on their first date. Riven was snapped out of the memory when he heard Musa's voice. "Who's that?" She said her voice was still as melodic sounding as it was when he first met her while back. "That's Layla my probationary agent, she does everything I don't and she's very good at her job" Riven replied as they walked towards the agent.

"Hey." He said to her as they came to a stop, Layla smiled as a greeting then turned to Musa. "You must be Musa VanderBelle. I've heard a lot about you." Flattered, Musa looked at the woman before her and spoke "Thank you."

"What have we got here today?" Riven asked Layla as he took the folder from her hands. "His name is Robert Stag, they flagged him coming back from Sparx in response to our Snow White BOLO." Riven examined the papers within the folder and felt a small twinge of pain at the canter of his forehead. "More paperwork for me I see." Riven said with a sigh. "What's he carrying?" Layla smirked in response "Oh, you're gonna love this." She said leading the special agent and the criminal to the holding area knowing full and well He wouldn't.

When they got to the holding area there were 3 suitcases on top of the tables that were in the room. Riven opened one of the suitcases while Layla opened the rest. "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" Riven read aloud, shaking his head he turned back to Layla. "This is what triggered our alert?" Riven was now upset. He had to come in to work to find out that a children's book was what triggered the alert, he told Timmy that Snow White was as stupid name for their BOLO but Timmy assured him it wasn't and the most ridiculous trigger they would get would be some form of drugs but boy was Timmy wrong. Not only was it a children's book, it was an earth children's book a freaking earth children's book had set off their alert.

"What do we know about this guy?" Riven asked gruffly. "It says he delivers earth books to other realms." Layla replied flipping through one of the books. "Is there anything wrong with his paperwork?" Layla put the book down and looked around at the suitcases. "No, he brought in the same books and the same quantity on three other trips." Musa was looking at the book in her hand very carefully making sure to take everything in. "Pixie, we wasting are time?" Riven asked directing his question towards Musa.

The blue haired fairy glared at the special agent for a moment. She didn't like being called a pixie it was offensive, she was much stronger than a pixie and wanted acknowledgment for it, not discredit. "Well they're not limited runs or special editions, you can get them on earth; nothing really special about them, pretty cheap too." She finally said not looking at Riven. "So why go to the trouble of flying them in?" He asked "Well he's pretty nervous for having the right paperwork." Layla interjected "Well set up a meeting I wanna talk to him." Riven said trying to understand who would go through all that trouble. "Will do Sir." Layla said as she walked out of one holding room and into another.

In the other holding room a man was sitting shaking his leg nervously as he looked around the walls of the room. He notice that the room didn't have any windows and was all white making him feel more uncomfortable than he already was.

"Riven Sheffield, FBI." Riven introduced himself as he walked in to the holding room.

"FBI?" The man said slightly frightened. "They're really kicking it up a notch?" Robert asked nervously. It could be seen that a thin sheet of perspiration had developed on the man's forehead. "So you're a book dealer?" Riven asked getting straight to the point, he didn't have time to beat around the bush plus he was already in a bad mood after seeing Musa's new living arrangement.

"Well yes, like I've told everyone here, repeatedly my job is to import and sell rare books." The man said as he reached into his back pocket, pulled out a business card and handed it to Riven. Riven barely took a glance at the card before he asked his next question. "How rare could these books be if you have 500 of them Robert?" Riven was not buying any of this guy's story at all. "There is no snow white in the magical realms so very rare." Robert said to Riven Rather harshly 'snippy, I think I hit a nerve' Riven thought to himself.

Eyeing the man in the chair for a moment before sitting down at the edge of the table Riven was trying to get insight into this mans life. "What are the books really for?" Riven questioned, but before Robert could answer Riven heard the door open. A rather buff looking man with a trench coat and briefcase walked through the holding room to where Riven and Robert were seated. "I'd appreciate it if you didn't speak to by client, constitution and all." His spoke with conviction in his voice as he silently suggested to Riven it would be best if he left.

Riven didn't need to be told twice, he might not have pasted the bar but he knew enough that t when a lawyer asked you to leave the room to talk to their client, you leave; Riven didn't want to lose this case because he had violated attorney client privileges. Sour with a scowl Riven left the two men alone in the holding room.

Walking out into the hall Riven spotted Musa looking around the building with Layla not too far away from her talking to one of the other probationary officers. "Where's the customs inspector?" Riven growled loud enough for Layla to hear and know he was mad.

Pointing in the direction of where Riven just came from, she motioned for him to come over as she walked to Riven and Musa. "Musa is right; the books really aren't worth much you can get them on the web for a few bucks." Musa smirked feeling accomplished for knowing what she was talking about.

"Why didn't you tell me he lawyered up huh?" Riven said to the customs inspector, Riven was getting real fed up with everyone's incompetence at the moment. "You know the second he makes that call I can't talk to him." Did no one know the law around here?

The inspector furrowed his brow and shook his head lightly. "He didn't call anybody."

"Then how the hell did his lawyer know that -?" Riven began to yell but then realized if he didn't call anyone then that couldn't be his lawyer. 'shit.' Riven cursed to himself as he began running back to the holding room with the inspector, Musa and Layla right behind him.

When they had got to the holding room the door was open and there sat a dazed Robert. Riven ran up to the man and looked him in the eyes, he could see there was a clear void. Riven slapped the man to see if he would snap out of it, and when he didn't Riven cursed. "Shit! Someone get a medical fairy, he's spelled." The inspector ran out of the room in search of a fairy medic.

Riven paced back and forth before he barked out again. "No one bothered to see if the guy was who he said he was? Or even see if he had mind control powers? God!" Riven said over the intruder alarm that was not going off. All Musa could do was bite her lower lip anxiously while Layla put her head down in shame because she knew that she had let her mentor down.

Back in the other holding room where the 3 suitcases filled with earthling children's books were Musa Riven and Layla. They had been looking through the books trying to find some sort of lead to what the book dealer was really up to. "So we've got a spelled book dealer, a lawyer with dark magic who also had mind controlling powers and a bunch of worthless books." Riven said as he tossed one of the books back on the pile in front of him as he walked away in frustration. "All right, come on. As a reformed professional counterfeiter, what is the Marked Men's interest in these?" Riven pressed Musa.

As he had the right to; this, this right here right now was the whole reason why Musa was out of prison. It was the only reason why Riven agreed to this deal of her, or so he thought. If you want to catch a criminal then you must think like one, and what better way to think like a criminal than to be one? It was time for Musa to prove her worth to Riven and hold up her side of the deal, if she couldn't do that she'd be more useful in prison in Riven's eyes.

Musa studied the book back and forth with tapping a ruler on the table as she looked through the pages of the book. She was looking at the front inside cover of the book when something caught her attention. "Published 1944 in Madrid." She whispered to herself so lightly Riven had missed it even though he had been eyeing her. She looked at what she had just read trying to remember what was significant about it. She could recall something about this date but her mind was failing her. Thinking back to important dates it hit her.

"This is what they're after." Musa said more loudly than her previous statement as she took the ruler and slid it under the top sheet of the inside cover. This caught Riven's ears as he watched her slide the ruler under the paper. "Top sheet?" The magenta haired agent asked questionably. What could the Marked Men want with the top sheet of an earthling children's book? "More than that." Musa replied "This is a piece of 1944 Spanish press parchment." Riven's day was starting to look up. "That's what they want. Good, this is really good." Riven said as he and Layla walked up to the blue haired criminal.

"They're going to counterfeit something that was originally printed on paper like that." Layla said understanding where Musa was going with this. "Well that's what I would do." Musa said further confirming Riven thoughts on how to catch a criminal. Musa had successfully slid the ruler under the top sheet with out ripping it and handed it to Riven. "Robert made 3 prior trips with these." Riven said still trying to figure out what would Robert be copying. "2 blank sheets per book that's 600 sheets." Musa said aloud. "Too many for painting not enough for currency." Riven said doing the process of elimination, what in the world could Robert be using that many blank sheets for? Thinking like a criminal an idea hit Riven.

"Bet our book dealer knew, Layla where's his wallet?" Riven said with a smirk emerging on his face. Layla handed Riven the wallet, Riven opened up the black leather wallet and went through it. Sure it was an invasion of privacy but Riven could care less at this point. A white piece of paper looked out of place with the green money. Riven took it out and smiled to himself before dropping the paper on the desk for Layla and Musa to look at it. "That's where he went before he left for earth." 'The Universal Archives.' read the white ticket on the table.

"Yeah, I remember him" said the small petite woman who was the head of the tour guides at The Universal Achieves Museum. She had brown hair tied up in a bun with green eyes that were overshadowed by her big round black glasses. Musa thought that the women had the potential to be a real looker if she would stop dressing like an 80year old grandmother and dressed more like a sexy librarian as she took in what the women was wearing.

"He came by several moths ago and then again last week." She said meekly as she showed Musa and Riven to on of the displays. "This is what he came to see." She said as she stopped at a podium looking display. "The Solarian Victory Bond." She finished as she stepped back so Musa and Riven could get a better look. Musa knew that this bond was a very important one and was rather valuable so she was really delicate when she was inspecting the bond. "He took several photos of it." The women said to Musa when she got closer for a better inspection. Musa took in the entire bond, the colors the righting the image in the background, the ink; every single detail of it. Riven who didn't know much about it stayed back and let Musa inspect, but that didn't stop him from catching a whiff of her lavender scent which use to drive him insane; but he would have no time to think on the past, specifically theirs.

"He said he was going to write a book, it ashamed he spelled and can't recall a thing." The women said shaking her head, it really did somber her heart because she was actually looking forward to reading the book. "This Bond has an interesting history."

"It's a Roya." Musa said out loud to the women. "Yes; a beauty isn't it?" The women smiled as she was grateful to be in the presence of something so important in history. You could tell that history had this women heart.

Riven who had been taking the backseat to Musa finally stepped up to the bond. Taking out the top sheet he had put away in the inside pocket of his jacket, he unfolded it and put it over the bond Musa was holding in her hand. "Ah, look it's a perfect fit." He said "You're starting to earn you're 700 a month." He said to Musa with a slight smile. Musa smiled back happy to know she was of good use today. "So you say this bond has an interesting history." Musa said looking at the women.

"Yes, very few have been redeemed after the war in Solaria. But they say there are boxes hidden away in caves and caverns in Solaria, wouldn't that be delightful if they found them?" The women said as Musa eyed the bond more. This time Musa ran her fingers over the letters and let the smell of the bond fill her nostrils; something was off and Riven could tell Musa was on the brink of finding out what.

"This is the only surviving copy." The women said proudly to Musa. "Except this is a forgery." Musa said flatly making the smile on the women's face disappear and Riven look at her with doubt. "No, that's not possible." The women said shaken up a bit. "What are you talking about?" Riven asked Musa not wanting to give the women a heart attack if it was in fact not a forgery.

"It's the ink.." Musa said looking Riven directly in the eye. For a moment Riven had forgotten how beautiful he thought Musa's eyes were and was taken aback when she looked at him but, quickly shaking of the feeling of attraction he motioned for Musa to continue her explanation.

"It's iron-gall dye mixed to match the colors but it hasn't dried yet, you can smell the gum Arabic." She said holding it up so that Riven and the women could smell the ink.

Riven happy to have found a new promising lead smiled at Musa. The women on the other hand was not pleased and in complete denial. "No. This has been here since 1954." She said her voice dripping in denial and shock.

"Sorry hun, but it's been here less than a week." Musa said matter of factly looking at the crushed tour guide who looked like she had seen a ghost. Oh boy did she have some explaining to do to her bosses.
