Chapter 4
Albus sat at his desk, pondering the conversation that he had with the Weasleys. He was gratified that by the end that Molly had finally come to accept leaving Ginny with Harry.
His eyes then fell to the ancient tome before him. Arthur had returned to the Burrow to fetch it, as he was sure that Ginny had known about it. It was a Weasley family heirloom and was the source of the spell that Ginny had used.
Sighing, he reread the passage that followed the explanation of the spell.
When the life transfer is used to save another, the two shall become as one, inexorably binding together the souls of the participants. Any attempt to interfere will cause the death of both parties.
Albus closed the book and as he gathered his thoughts, he rose to go inform Poppy about what he had learned. Shaking his head, he wondered how this would effect the path that lay before Harry and the destiny that he had to fulfil.

Ginny stared at what lay before them. They were standing atop a small valley that lay sprawled below them. A pastoral meadow filled with flowers of all colours led down to a forest with a small stream meandering through it.
Where they had been was a world of grey hues, the valley was awash with colour and life.
"What's down there?" she asked softly.
Harry shrugged, "I don't know, I've never gone down there," he replied. "I've never felt that I could before."
Ginny turned to Harry and she looked at him in confusion. She had to shake her head as she took in the change she saw. Though moments ago he had been slightly shorter than she was, he was now slightly taller.
Harry smiled at her. "Would you come with me?" he asked, gesturing toward the valley below.
Gathering herself, she said "I'd like that very much."
With a gentle tug on her hand, Harry led Ginny into the meadow. As soon as they entered, Ginny was hit with the wonderful scent of the wild flowers that surrounded them.
Glancing around, she saw butterflies dancing from blossom to blossom. Bees buzzed as they gather nectar and swallows swooped and darted just above the flowers. Ginny had never seen a place so beautiful.
Ginny felt Harry pause and she looked over at him. His eyes were closed and she saw him take in a huge breath through his nose. She saw him smile and she felt him relax as the tension he had been experiencing melted from his body.
She was struck by the realization that this was the first time she had ever seen him look at peace.
Harry exhaled slowly, letting the wonderful feelings he was experiencing wash over and through him. Still smiling, he turned to Ginny and said softly, "Come, lets go exploring."
As they started forward, Harry reached down and plucked a large yellow flower and gently tucked it into Ginny's hair, behind her ear.
Ginny shivered from the unexpected feelings she experienced as Harry's hand softly touched her as it trailed down the side of her face. She looked at him wide-eyed with surprise at the intimate gesture. If she was expecting Harry to act embarrassed or shocked, she was surprised by his shy smile that betrayed none.
Reaching out Harry retook her hand and led her towards the woods below.

Poppy Pomfrey sat nursing her cup of tea, trying hard to piece together the puzzle that was Harry Potter and Ginevra Weasley. Though both were obviously alive, she could only detect one life force. After careful observation she had noted that they breathed in time and their hearts beat in sync. As far as she had been able to determine that had never been recorded before.
Her ruminations were interrupted by the arrival of the Headmaster.
"Would you like some tea, Albus?" she asked.
With a wan smile, he replied, "That would be most welcome."
As she served him, Albus pulled out a roll of parchment and laid it upon her desk.
Placing his tea before the Headmaster, she took the scroll and began to read. As Albus watched, he noted her eyes dart to his several times.
When she was done, she slowly set the parchment down and looked at him. "I guess this explains what I've noticed," she said softly.
"And what is that?" Albus asked, his curiosity piqued.
"Well, I've observed that they breath in sync and that their hearts beat that way as well."
Looking quite pensive, Albus nodded slowly, digesting what the matron had said.
"What will become of them?" Poppy asked.
With a sigh, Albus replied "Only time will tell."
Both sat there, sipping their tea, each lost in their own thoughts as they contemplated the couple who lay in the ward outside the office.
Finally Albus finished his tea and set his cup down and rose. "Thank you for the tea," he said quietly.
Poppy looked up at the venerable Headmaster and though it was unnecessary she said, "If there is any change, I'll notify you immediately."
With a nod of his head, Albus turned and departed, leaving the matron to her thoughts about the young couple under her care.

As Harry and Ginny descended through the meadow, they talked quietly. It was mostly about the scene around them, each pointing out wonders that caught their eye, from spectacular colourful butterflies and birds to the astonishing array of flowers that surrounded them.
Though that wasn't all, Ginny found herself talking about growing up at the Burrow and her life with having six brothers. They shared many a laugh and smiles at the stories she told.
Ginny found it amazing that even though Harry had told her of growing up at the Dursley's, he added more information and stories in response to what she said.
Looking at him, she knew somehow that the things he was telling her, he had never told to anyone else before and she felt herself growing closer and closer to the boy who walked beside her.
Though they had come quite far across the meadow, it seemed like it had taken no time at all because they had been so engaged in talking.
Looking up, Ginny noticed they had come to the edge of the woods. It was a veritable paradise of trees and shrubs, many blooming with fragrant blossoms that perfumed the air. The shade was a cool welcome after the sun of the meadow.
Both youngsters paused at the same time though neither had said or done anything to signal the other.
Without words, they turned and stared into each others eyes. Ginny was astonished by the emotions she saw as she gazed into Harry's deep emerald eyes. She found her breath catching at the intensity that she felt.
After a moment, Harry slowly reached out and gently ran his knuckles down across her cheek. He didn't say a word but just smiled softly at her, letting his eyes and actions speak for him.
Ginny's eyes never left Harry's and at his touch, she felt a shiver run up and down her spine. Never before had such a simple gesture had such a huge impact on her.
Ginny's mind was in turmoil, she felt she wanted to say something about what she was feeling, but words failed her.
If Harry was aware of what she was going through, he gave no indication. He just gently took her hand in his and gently urged her forward into the forest.
Ginny let the serenity of their surroundings wash over her and she felt herself relax, feeling utterly content, no longer concerned about where they were and how they would get back. She was happy to just enjoy being where she was and being with Harry.
She noticed Harry looking at her, a grin upon his face. "What?' she asked, with a smile.
"You're beautiful," Harry replied, his smile widening.
Ginny's eyes widened in surprise. She felt her face flush slightly at his compliment but that didn't come close to the warm feeling she felt inside.
Before she could respond, Harry added "And I don't mean just on the outside, though you certainly are."
The warm feeling inside exploded a hundred fold and Ginny felt her eyes tearing with the emotions she was experiencing.
She noticed Harry's expression become much more serious with a tinge of sadness.
"I've wanted to tell you that for some time now," he said lowly.
Not knowing what to say, she turned and took him in a warm embrace, letting her action speak for her. She was gratified when he wrapped his arms around her, returning her hug.
Ginny felt his physical warmth merge with the one she felt deep inside and for the first time since her disastrous first year she felt safe and secure.
Her eyes drifted shut and she laid her head on his shoulder and a feeling of contentment she had never felt before settled on her.
Time seemed to stand still as they both just enjoyed being in each others embrace.

Poppy Pomfrey stood at the end of the bed holding Harry and Ginny, her intense gaze taking in the subtle changes that she could see. It had been nearly a week since they had been found and brought into the hospital wing. Though they showed no signs of reviving, she did note a subtle change in their positioning. Ginny had slide slightly to the side and now lay half on and half off of Harry's torso.
She could now see part of Harry's chest and was surprised to see a mark there. It was centred over Harry's heart. On close inspection it was clearly a double palm print, but view from further away it looked like a heart, at least she thought so as it was still partially covered by Ginny's hand.
The matron was pleased to see that the look of fear had faded from Harry's face but she couldn't make out precisely what had replaced it. He didn't quite look like a normal coma patient with a neutral face. There was a small hint of a furrowing of his brow, but nothing very prominent.
Poppy then turned her attention to Ginny. Now that her face wasn't tucked directly down, face-first into Harry's shoulder, she could make out her features. Ginny's head was still on Harry's shoulder, but now she was laying on her cheek, facing towards Harry.
Ginny's look was much more serene than Harry's, with a hint of a small smile touching her lips. To all appearances she just looked like she was asleep, snuggled up tight against Harry's body.
The only odd thing that stood out was that she could see that their chests rose and fell as one.
Shaking her head, Poppy turned away after making a note in her chart and returned to her office.

Harry took Ginny's hand once again and led her deeper into the woods. In no time at all they came to the small stream that ran through the centre of the valley. It danced and meandered over rocks and stones, small falls and dips making the water splash in a melodious manner.
The couple turned left and followed the water downstream, both quiet as they listened to the symphony of nature.
As they turned a bend, the stream opened into a small pool. Standing on the opposite bank a doe and her fawn stood drinking from the cool, clean water. The doe picked up her head and looked at them but it must have sensed no threat because she watched for a moment before returning to drinking along side her fawn.
Ginny smiled as she watched the pair drinking, then she glanced at Harry and noticed he too was smiling. It warmed her heart to see his smile, something he had done little of as of late.
The small pool ended with a drop of several feet, a small waterfall being the result. Ginny took in a deep breath, smelling the clean damp air, scented lightly with the fragrance of the pines that stood around them.
Ginny was once more taken with the peacefulness and serenity of their surroundings. It was so totally different from where they had started from.
The path they were following branched away from the side of the stream, leading them back into the woodlands. They hadn't gone far when the area before them opened up into a wide space.
Standing in the centre was the largest tree Ginny had ever seen, it's base the size of a small house, its massive branches blotting out the sky above. The ground around the tree was carpeted with a deep soft layer of pine needles that seemed to absorb all the sounds around them.
As they rounded the tree they were surprised to see a wooden stairway ascending up the side of the tree. Glancing up they could see it spiral around the mighty trunk, disappearing into the recesses of the branches above.
As one they looked at one another and with smiles on their faces they headed for the stairs.
"Shall we?" asked Harry.
Smiling wider, Ginny nodded and said "Of course."
The stairs were just narrow enough to make walking side by side impossible without feeling cramped. Harry motioned for Ginny to lead the way. Ginny reluctantly let go of Harry's hand and started up with Harry following close behind.
The pitch wasn't that steep so the climb was easy as they ascended into the tree. Upward they climbed spiralling around and around the trunk till they could no longer see the ground because of the dense branches below. Minutes passed and still they climbed ever upward, spiralling around and around the tree and just when it seemed the climb would go on forever Ginny came to an abrupt halt, causing Harry to bump into her from behind.
"Oh!" Ginny said in wonder.
Feeling Harry bump into her from behind, Ginny took a step forward letting Harry take the last step up. She turned and watched him as he noticed what had struck her as she arrived.
They were standing in a large tree-house that looked out in every direction. It had a full roof, supported by four huge posts at the corners, with a railing running between them.
The tree trunk was still as large as a large normal tree stood in the exact centre. What was the most striking and had caused Ginny's exclamation were the views. The branches had thinned and they could see for miles in every direction. It seemed as if the whole world was laid at their feet.
Ginny walked directly forward while Harry turned and walking in the opposite direction, both staring out at the vista before them. Everything else was below them, the extent of the forest was visible as was the meadow they had descended through, at the very edge of their vision the grey landscape they had started in was just barely visible.
Each was absorbed in looking out at the landscape and were taken a little by surprise when they bumped into one another half way around.
Their eyes met and locked, emerald green and chocolate brown each taking in the other. Time seemed to stand still and minutes passed without their knowledge.
Ginny felt herself being drawn further and further into the pools of emerald fire. The world faded away from her and all she could see was green. It grew and surrounded her as an all encompassing blanket. It was warm and welcoming, wrapping her in a sense of love and security. She had never felt so loved and cherished.
Harry lost himself in the liquid brown and as he was immersed in it he noticed for the first time flecks of gold and bronze that added depth and highlights to the brown. As it enveloped him he became aware of feelings of love and acceptance that he had never before experienced.
Slowly they both took a last step forward and Harry's arms came up to take ahold of Ginny, their eyes never wavering.
"Harry / Ginny" their minds spoke together.

Hermione was sitting in front of the fire in the Gryffindor common room. Her face furrowed in concern. It had now been over a week since they had been informed that Harry and Ginny had been found, but other than that there had been no word as to their conditions.
She heard the portrait hole open and she glanced over at the people coming in. It was Ron in the company of Dean and Seamus. She heard Dean make a comment questioning what could be the reason that Harry and Ginny hadn't returned to the tower and classes.
Seamus made a low comment, obviously for Dean's ears only but in the quiet atmosphere it carried so that Hermione heard it.
"Maybe they were caught together doing . . . you know," he said with a smirk.
Hermione tensed as she saw Ron's face as he turned and glared at Seamus. Dean must have seen it too as he hustled Seamus away towards their dorm.
"He didn't mean anything by it," he said apologetically, trying to avoid a confrontation.
Ron shook his head and growled out something that Hermione didn't catch, but she could tell he wasn't thrilled by Seamus' comment.
Hermione breathed a sigh of relief when nothing else happened and Dean and Seamus made their way up the stairs to the boy's dorms. Ron had stopped and continued to glare at the retreating forms of his year mates before turning and walking over to where Hermione sat.
He plopped down in the chair next to Hermione's, dropping his book bag rather forcefully. With a scowl he said, "I can't believe that prat Seamus!"
Taking a deep breath, Hermione said, "You shouldn't be upset because you know it's not true. Harry would never do something like that and neither would Ginny."
Ron shot her a look that could have curdled milk with its intensity. "Doesn't matter, he should never have said it."
Hermione rolled her eyes and gave a slight shake of her head. "No he shouldn't have, but you know how he is."
Ron sighed and sunk a little deeper into his seat but still had a frown upon his face.
Hermione stared at him for a moment. "You don't believe that, do you?" she asked pointedly.
One look at Ron's guilty glance and she knew he had been thinking something along those lines. "How could you?" she asked indignantly, her voice rising in tone and volume.
Ron's scowl deepened with his anger. "Well, what the bloody hell is going on then?" he spat. "I mean it's been a week now and nothing! We can't see them. They haven't sent any messages, nothing!" came his bitter retort.
With a sad sigh and not even bothering to correct his language, Hermione said. "I. . .I don't know, Ron. I wish I did but the last time we spoke to McGonagall she wasn't very forthcoming with any information. Only that she'd let us know when there was any change."
"I just wish I knew. . . Something!" Ron exploded, standing suddenly and pacing in front of the fire.
Hermione looked thoughtful for a moment and then said hesitantly, "Have you asked your Mother?"
Ron's eyes darted her way. "Ah. . . no I haven't. I figured we'd hear the same time they sent anything to her."
"Well I think it's worth a shot," Hermione said slightly apologetically.
Ron stopped pacing and looked thoughtful for several seconds and then with a frown said "I guess it couldn't hurt."
Hermione brightened and reached for her bag, pulling out a quill, ink and a scrap of parchment."
Rather reluctantly, Ron took the offered items and scratched out a hasty note. As Hermione grabbed her quill and ink, she said, "We have just enough time before dinner to stop off at the Owlery."

"Harry? / Ginny?" two minds spoke as one.
With wide eyes Harry and Ginny stared at one another, to shocked for the moment to continue.
"Harry?" Ginny tentatively sent.
"Ginny!" Harry excitably sent back, his eyes dancing in delight.
Ginny eyes then mirrored his and a smile spread across her face. Though surprised, she found the experience wholly delightful.
Two sets of eyes continued to stare at one another, neither seemingly aware that their faces were drifting together. With infinite slowness two sets of lips came together, sharing loves first kiss. It was warm and soft, unhurried as two became accustomed to the other.
After an indeterminable time their lips separated, though they stayed wrapped up in each others embrace.
Ginny laid her head on Harry's shoulder, closing her eyes, a small smile upon her just kissed lips, letting the warmth she felt inside of her fill her completely.
Harry's cheek rested against the back of Ginny's head. He nuzzled slowly into it, letting the soft silky feeling and sweet intoxicating fragrance of Ginny's radiant hair wash over him. He had never felt something so all encompassing and fulfilling as the sensations he was currently feeling.
"Harry?" Ginny tentatively sent.
"What, my love?"
Harry's response caught her by surprise. Though she could feel his love, she didn't expect him to say it to her so easily.
"Do you mean that?" she asked softly.
"Yeah I do."
Though both had their eyes closed, each could tell the other was smiling.
"Good, cause I love you too."
Harry gave her a quick squeeze and exhaled contently. "I'm sorry for taking so long to figure it out."
"No matter," she sent with a giggle. "I'm just glad you finally did."
Harry felt her sadden slightly.
"I'm sorry for what I called you," she sent softly.
"It's okay," he replied tenderly. "You didn't know."
"But I should have."
"It's in the past, Ginny. Let's not go there. I only want to concentrate on the future."
Ginny felt Harry's love wash over her and she snuggled closer into him. "What future do you see?" she asked, her curiosity getting the better of her.
Harry snaked his one hand up and into her long luxurious hair, caressing the back of her head.
"One with you, marriage, a home, kids eventually."
Ginny felt her heart skip a beat. Only in her deepest dreams had she ever admitted to herself that she wanted the same future with him.
"Sounds wonderful," she replied.
"Yeah, it does, doesn't it."
"Umhmm," Ginny sent, contently.
Neither felt compelled to continue their conversation at the moment. They were satisfied to stand there, each lost in the sensations they were feeling being in each other's embrace.
Harry was gently running his hand through Ginny's amazing, soft, silky fiery hair as Ginny slowly and gently caressed Harry's back, her hand running up and down in a silent expression of her emotions.

Molly Weasley sat in her kitchen and stared forlornly at her clock. Ginny's hand still stood where it had gone over a week ago. It had at sometime changed from "At School" to "Lost".
She was upset with herself for not noticing it a first and it wasn't till Dumbledore had contacted her and Arthur about what had happened that she noticed the change.
Doing what she always did when confronted with something that stressed her out, she sat with the prerequisite pot of tea while waiting for the items she was baking to come out of the oven.
Though most of her thoughts were centred on her daughter, she couldn't help but think about the boy who was also involved, Harry Potter.
Her mind was in turmoil whenever her thoughts turned to him. What she knew and what she guessed about his childhood made her just want to break down and cry. How he had turned out to be the caring, noble and unpretentious person he was, was beyond her comprehension.
She couldn't help but remember all he had gone through during his time at Hogwarts. From saving the Philosopher's Stone his first year, saving Ginny's life in the Chamber of Secrets during his second year, his troubling third year and all that had happened, to having to compete in the Tri-Wizard Tournament in his fourth year and now this unexplained situation involving her daughter.
Dabbing the corners of her eyes with her apron, she jumped a little when the timing spell sounded signaling it was time to remove the pies and pastries from the oven.
With a sigh and a heavy heart she rose and removed the baked goods, switching them out with the loaves of bread she had ready to bake. With her tasks complete, she sat back down, refreshed her cup of tea and went back to thinking about her daughter and Harry.
As loathed as she was to admit it, she knew in her heart that somehow they were destined to be together. Her thoughts drifted back over the many late night heartfelt conversations that she and Ginny had shared concerning things that a growing young woman felt, especially her feelings for a certain raven haired, green eyed boy.
A small smile crept onto her face as she recalled the fascination that her daughter had as a young girl with the stories that surrounded the myth that was The-Boy-Who-Lived. It wasn't uncommon for any girl her age as most young girls her age were enamoured with stories of the boy.
Her smile widened at the memory of her then nine year old daughter's declaration that Harry Potter wasn't like what the stories made him out to be. She had been so serious in stating that he was not some story book legend but a regular boy who had lost his parents in a most horrible way and she couldn't fathom growing up without a mum and dad.
It still amazed Molly with the insight that her daughter had shown at that young age.
With a sadness that still made her heart ache, she recall Ginny's first year. The though of how close they had come to losing her still chilled her to the bone and if wasn't for that same boy, she would have been lost. Fighting back the tears that threatened to come she thanked God that Ginny had been saved.
With a wan chuckle she suddenly remembered a snippet of a conversation that she and Ginny had shared when she was tucking her six year old daughter into bed. She had just given Ginny a kiss on the forehead and was about to turn off the light and leave when Ginny had said quite seriously that she was going to marry Harry Potter when she was older.
She remembered smiling and laughing at her daughter at the time and saying offhandedly, "Of course you will."
Now that fact didn't seem so far fetched as it had back then.
Though she tried as hard as she could, she couldn't wrap her mind about the situation that Ginny found herself in with Harry. She knew that her daughter had just as noble a spirit as Harry had, but she wished there had been another way to save him besides the ancient magic she had invoked to save his life.
Time slipped past as Molly sat lost in her thoughts. She was only brought out of her ruminations by the chiming of the timing spell that let her know that the bread was done. With a rueful sigh, she turned her attention to the bread, giving a silent prayer for Ginny and Harry.

As Harry and Ginny stood together, eyes closed and gently touching and caressing the other they became aware of the sound of a bird flying in close and landing in the tree.
They gave it no mind though they heard in the background the sound of another one come in for a landing. Slowly they noticed the sounds of more birds flying in. First by ones and twos, then by threes and fours and finally in greater numbers.
Their curiosity piqued, they looked up. They were disappointed to begin with because the birds were higher up in the tree and they couldn't get a direct look at them. All they could see were small bits and pieces of the birds silhouettes.
They continued to crane their necks trying to get a good look at the birds but to no avail. It was only the continued arrival of more birds that they finally figured out what they were.
"Harry! They're Phoenixes!" Ginny said in breathless wonder, a smile lighting up her face.
"Yes. . . " Harry agreed, awe-struck by the sight of the huge flock above them.
And still they arrived, till the treetop and branches surrounding them were covered with the magical birds.
Finally the number of birds arriving tapered off as a last few came in for a landing. Harry and Ginny stared up in awe, the very tree was awash in colours. Mainly reds and golds, the primary colours of the Phoenixes. There were also splashes of blues, greens, black and other hues from the wing and tail tips.
"There's hundreds of them," Ginny whispered in awe.
Just when they thought no more were to arrive, one last Phoenix came winging in to where they stood.
It was without a doubt the largest of all of them, a good 4 or 5 times larger than any of the others. It came directly at the couple standing but the rail. It swooped up and as it came in for a landing it transformed into a beautiful woman.
She smiled at them with a look that filled them with awe and wonder. Never before had either felt so much love and understanding.
"Greetings," she said softly, with a voice filled with music. "The Flame has healed the Heart and now it is time for the Bonding to be completed."
Harry and Ginny exchanged puzzled looks. After a moment smiles began to creep onto their faces.
Harry reached out and gently cupped Ginny's face. "The Flame," he whispered, gazing into Ginny's eyes.
Ginny's actions mirrored Harry's. As she caressed his cheek she whispered "The Heart."
Slowly their faces came together and their lips touched in an intense kiss. As they did so all the Phoenixes above them trilled a glorious song, filled with the love they felt from the two below them.
Ever so slowly, Harry and Ginny separated, still gazing into one another's eyes. As one they whispered, "I love you."
After several moments they became aware of the woman standing near them. Turning sheepishly, they blushed as they looked at her.
Ignoring their discomfort, she smiled and said, "I am Amoria, Queen of the Phoenixes. We are here to give you our blessing."
"Why?" asked Ginny, glancing from Amoria to Harry and back.
Amoria's smile widened. "In ancient times a prophecy was given." She closed her eyes and spoke "The Flame shall save the Heart and bound together they shall lead the Light against the Dark. For only when the Heart and the Flame are One can they hope to prevail."
Her eyes opened and she looked at Harry and Ginny. "Please hold out your left hands."
Harry and Ginny did as instructed. Amoria reached out and as she did her index finger transformed into a talon. She ran it across each or their palms, cutting the shallowly.
"Join hands, forming a cup, please," she said softly.
Harry and Ginny did so, watching as their blood pooled together.
Suddenly the phoenixes above them started to swoop down, and in a continuous loop, each phoenix came and dropped a single tear into their cupped hands. Though their hands filled to the top, they never overflowed.
Finally the last phoenix above them came down and landed, one foot on each of their arms. Harry recognized Fawkes, who added his own tear.
Amoria, gently stroked Fawkes and leaned over and added her tear last, as it splashed in, the liquid slowly subsided, leaving their hands unblemished save for a small mark in the shape of a phoenix where the cut had been centred in each of their palms.
She looked at the couple before her. "The Phoenix Blessing is complete and now so is your Bonding." She glanced up at the assemblage above them. "Each of us, the One Thousand Phoenixes have given of ourselves to strengthen and bless your Bond."
"One Thousand?" Ginny said in awe.
"Yes, each and every one here are all the Phoenixes in your plane of existence," Amoria replied.
One by one the Phoenixes flew down in front of Harry and Ginny, trilled once and flamed away until only Amoria and Fawkes were left.
"Our time is about up and you will soon return to your selves. My parting gift to you is that now that you have our Blessing you also have many of our attributes," Amoria explained.
When Harry and Ginny looked at her in surprise, she added "You now can Flame travel so no ward or cell can hold you. You also now have the power of healing in your tears."
She gave a small chuckle at the shocked look on Harry's and Ginny's faces. "Also you now possess the ability to give hope and encouragement to those around you with the sound of your voice."
Harry and Ginny could only stare at her in disbelief, finding it hard to take in everything.
Harry final found his voice, "Thank you for these gifts," he said gratefully.
"Yes," added Ginny. "I can't express how much it means to me, to us" she said, glancing at Harry.
Amoria smiled at them. "Our time grows to an end for now. It is time for you to return and take up the mantle laid upon you both. May the Light shine on you always."
She looked at Fawkes, "Farewell for now Valiant One." With that she transformed back into a Phoenix and with a mighty trill, she flamed away.
Fawkes turned his head, looking at Harry and Ginny. "Time to go," he trilled.
Harry and Ginny looked at him in surprise as they understood him.
Fawkes chuckled and then they all disappeared in a flash of flame.

Poppy Pomfrey was sitting in her office, pouring over the charts of the two still ensconced in the bed on her ward. Sighing she sipped her cup of tea. Since she had last checked on her charges there hadn't been any changes.
Her attention was suddenly drawn to the ward as a flash of light brightened the room for a moment and the trill of a phoenix filled the air.
She rose like she had been shot out of her chair and she hurried into the ward.
She skidded to a halt at the end of the bed, taking in first the visage of Fawkes sitting on the headboard, trilling softly now.
Suddenly her attention was drawn to the couple on the bed. Her eyes widening as she saw Harry's eyes staring at her, a slight smile gracing his lips.
Ginny moaned softly, snuggling closer into Harry's side as his arm wrapped around her, tugging her in closely.
"You're Awake!" the Matron shouted.
