Scene 3 - After work

It's 6pm and Hiram awaits for the receptionist android outside closed doors. Hm... I never really asked for her name. He pondered to himself as he stood outside with a new set of clothes, nothing like the soggy ones from when he was caught in the rain.

Azra had changed her clothes, as she didn't think her Cyberlife uniform was appropriate for coffee. From her internal clock, she knew it was 6pm.

I should hurry before I'm late!

She ran from the changing room and exited the doors, spotting Hiram waiting.

He changed his clothes. He looks really nice!

"Hello Hiram, welcome to Cyberlife! What is your business here today?" she said, giggling.

Cheeky. He thought to himself as he watched her giggle. "I'm here for coffee with... " He paused for a moment. Her name. As a blush of embarrassment covered his cheeks, he asked. "I didn't quite get your name before."

He blushed! How cute

"Oh uh, my name is Azra! I even got to choose it myself. Well, when I say I chose it... I mean when I was created it I was given a name generator, and Azra was the third suggestion. I really liked it. It means helper! Which suits me because my job is helping people... Go through a turnstile but still helping people!"

Azra stopped talking abruptly.

Shit. Why do I babble so much?

"Do you have a place in mind? If not I can search Yelp for the best coffee shop in Detroit!"

Azra He thought, smiling to himself. Hiram grumbled embarrassingly as he remembered his turnstile problems earlier today. He scratched his head lightly as he tried to think about a coffee shop. "Well.. I may know one or two coffee shops that are android friendly. Does Cyberbucks ring a bell to you?"

"Oh yes, I go there sometimes! When I'm allowed time at the weekend. See that's the benefit of working for Cyberlife, they let Cyberlife employees have lives outside of the office, unlike other androids! Though sometimes I think we might be an experiment!"

She looked around, noticing the ugly stares from people walking past.

I forget. I'm not human. It's not usual for androids to be out and about so freely

"It's probably best we walk to the shop now"

Hiram noticed her blue expression, hence he held his hand out towards her with a grin on his face. "Shall we?"

Oh... Oh… OH. He wants to hold my... hand? I've never held anyone hand before! I mean technically I've held James's hand but he's... He's James

Azra gave him a warm smile and took his hand.

"Yes"
