A/N: I did say I would post a revised version but then I was like 'WTF am I doing?' so I just rewrote the chapters and made them between 1000 and 2000 words long so there is much more detail than the crap that was here before. You can yell at me through reviews and . but I hope that you can forgive me for being such a douche bag, even though I'm a girl, and fav/follow/review this story. As I word on this, my 7th chapter for Water and Fire Goddesses is in the works and will be up within the next few days, I hope so keep an eye open for that. I completely replaced chapter three with an entire new scene because the old one was just stupid and didn't make any sense to me or probably anybody out there reading this hot mess of a story. Any way, I am content with this and will continue to write this story with more chapters until I find a nice way to end this. Both stories I mean… So, without further a due, I give you the new chapter 3. (PS: if you have a chapter name for all of the chapters, please pm them to me, I don't like the way they are now and the chapter titles from Water and fire goddesses are all song titles. Just Fyi) Now- To infinity and bey- BLAST OFF!

After the two Fairy Tail girls had left, Jabal sat back down on the couch when his mother walked in.
"Does those two mages come back to collect the reward money yet?" Jen sat down next to Jabal and crossed her legs.
"Yeah," he said. "That older one was pretty hot- I think her name was Juvia, man she was pretty."
"You think?" Jen looked at him with a smirk on her lips. "Too bad she's from Magnolia and is eighteen and not fifth teen like you are, right? Otherwise you would be able to date her."
"Ugh!" Jabal groaned and rolled his eyes at that information. He stood up and turned to his mom. "Yeah, I could date her if I saw her again, I bet." He chuckled at his own joke while his mom only smiled.
"I'm going to go to my room and shower, later Mom." With that he disappeared into his room.
Jen continued to sit on the couch for a while, thinking about nothing specific when her communication lacrima began to glow. Jen knew exactly who it was, she called almost every day to talk to her, but Jen would never answer. Why would you answer the phone when someone you hate is calling you?
Jen didn't move to pick the lacrima up, she just waited until the glow died.
"If you answered her calls, then maybe she would stop calling you." David, Jen's husband walked into the living room from outside.
"If I answer she would just call even more than before. So, I can't answer her calls." She turned to David. "Besides, what the hell would we even talk about?"
"You could talk about anything, I mean you haven't spoken to her for almost twenty years now, I think that it is time for you to talk to her."
"No," with that Jennifer stood up and walk out the door and towards the beach, her husband's words fresh in her mind.
'How could he say something like that?' She thought. 'He knows good and well what had happened between us all those years ago. And he knows that she is the only person in this world that I truly despise.'
Juvia was walking down the town's main street, she was trying to follow a map to her Grandmother's house. Gray was walking by her side while sipping on a soda he bought earlier.
"So, we are going to see your Grandmother, right?" Juvia nodded in confirmation. "How long has it been since you've last seen her?" Gray took another sip of his soda.
"Oh, maybe years now- that's the seven years that we spent in Tenrou Island. Now that Juvia thinks about it, she has not contacted Grandmother since she left home. Juvia hopes she is okay, Juvia knows that she saw her in the Grand Magic Games so she is still alive. Besides," She turned to face Gray, "Grandmother was not that old when Juvia left. She was almost fifty back then."
"Oh, alright then." Gray continued to drink his soda. "Do you think that your Grandma would like me? I mean, what would she think of me?"
The two walked in silence for a few minutes before Juvia answered Gray's question. "Juvia is sure that Grandmother will love Gray-sama, I know she will because Juvia loves Gray-sama very much."
After that, they continued to walk for another fifth teen or so minutes until they came to a small house. The building was nothing extra special but there was dew on the grass and puddles scattered about. In the front yard was a flower bed lining the porch- Daffodils, Hydrangeas, lilacs, and even a lemon tree. The home was an old ranch style with a wraparound porch and seat swing. The shudders on the windows were painted white and the front door was white as well while the rest of the house was a dull yellow color.
"Things sure has changed since Juvia left." Juvia walking up the front steps of the house and knocked on the front door of the house. Juvia took a step away from the front door and breathed a deep breath.
"Coming!" a voice from inside called out. It sounded like a lady- a little bit like Juvia. A second later the front door swung open and a woman that looked to be in her late fifties greeted them with a warm smile. The woman had long black hair that had a long gray streak in it framing her smaller face. Her eyes were a deep dark blue, but were closer to black than blue. Her skin was slightly wrinkled and had the color of a ripe apricot. The lady had arched eyebrows and wide eyes, she also had thinner lips then most people but she was still very pretty.
The woman's eyes opened wide when she relized who was at her door. "Juvia!" she yelled and wrapped her arms around the young woman's shoulder and brought her into a tight hug. "Oh, let me look at you!" She grabbed Juvia by the shoulders and looked her up and down. "You have grown so much! Who is your friend?" She looked to Gray. "Is he your boyfriend?" She whispered in her ear.
"Yes, Grandmother," Juvia said, "this is Gray-sama. He came with Juvia from Fairy Tail to see you. Yes, Gray-sama is Juvia's boyfriend."
"Oh, hello young man!" The lady reached out and shook his hand rather harshly. "I am Marina Loxar. You can call me Grandmother. Oh, excuse me!" Grandmother stepped back and ushered them inside. "Come in, please, come in."
They were all siting down on the leather sofa in Grandmother's living room. Grandmother was sitting in an overstuffed armchair drinking coffee and staring intently at the couple in front of them. She was thinking about how much the little girl in front of her had changed in the last twenty five years. She remembered, what seemed just yesterday, when she had told her that she had wanted to learn water magic when she got older.
"Grandmother! Grandmother!" A young, chubby- faced Juvia Loxar came running into the room where her Grandmother was.
"What is it?" The woman looked at the tear- streaked face of her granddaughter. Marina went zero to sixty immediately. "What's the matter? Why are you crying?"
"The other kids keep calling Juvia an Ameonna and they called Grandmother a witch! They even thru Teru Teru into the mud and laughed at Juvia!" Juvia cried. Marina bent down and scooped the sobbing girl up into her arms.
"Please don't cry Juvia," Marina said, trying to sooth the girl. "The rain is beautiful, you know?"
Juvia sniffled. "It is?"
"It is," Marina continued. "The rain washes away all of our sins and pain- it creates a fresh start for all of those who want it. Without the rain, nothing would survive. The wildflowers wouldn't bloom, there would be no rivers for the fish to swim in, the ocean would dry up, and there would never be another rainbow. You see, the rain makes all life and beauty possible on Earth. So, remember the rain is never a bad thing- the rain is a fresh start."
The young girl's eyes were wide with wonder as she processed those words. Then a huge smile spread across her small face. "Juvia has never thought about it like that, Grandmother! Thank you!" Juvia thru her arms around her Grandmother's neck. "Juvia wants to be a water mage just like Grandmother! Will you teach Juvia, Grandmother?"
"Of course."
As Marina sat in front of her granddaughter, she sighed.
'She looks so much like her mother,' she thought. She remembered how she tried to call her daughter earlier that day, hoping that she could talk to her only child. Here she was, acting as a mother figure to her granddaughter. What would happen when she left this Earth? Juvia, her lovely little girl would be alone in the world. No family to speak of if she didn't tell her the truth right now.
"Juvia, I am truly glad you came today. I was actually thinking that I should come and talk to you- alone- in Magnolia."
Juvia's stomach dropped and her heart faltered for a second. She looked to Gray, he understood her message and stood up to leave. "I'll be waiting outside for you." He gave her hand a final squeeze and then disappeared.
'What is she going to say? Is she sick or something? Is she going-'her thoughts were cut off by her Grandmother's voice.
"Juvia," she took a deep breathed. "I have not been completely honest with you about why you don't know your parents. I think that you are old enough to know the truth now- so I am going to start with your father."
Juvia continued to stare expectantly at her Grandmother.
"Your father's name was Moses Martinez, he had a magic that allowed to change into different types of animals. He was dating your mother for a few years. I never liked him- he was a bad boy- always getting into trouble with the police. One day, your mother came home crying and when we asked what was wrong, she told us that she was pregnant and that Moses had left her alone. Her father, my husband, and I decided that she was old enough to live on her own, so we kicked her out a week later. Now I realize that was when everything began to go downhill. After sometime, she became mixed up with all kinds of evil things- drugs, stealing, dark guild- ing. As soon as you were born, I had to start thinking about your safety and well- being, so I reported her to the Magic Council and they arrested her. That was the hardest decision I have ever had to make in my life.
"When the Council took your mother, that left you alone and instead of allowing you to go to a foster home- I took you in. I tried to locate your father but it turns out that he died in prison a year after you were born. I took care of you until you left knowing that one day I would have to tell you about your parents because when I am gone, I do not want you to be alone in the world, especially when there is another family for you out there."
Juvia sat still for a moment, processing the fact that her mother was still alive and that she was out there somewhere. She had a mom! But something didn't add up quite right.
"Why did she never try to find me?"
Marina hesitated for a second before answer in a hushed tone, "she didn't want to."
Juvia felt the familiar sting behind her eyes as the tears began to well up.
"I try to contact her everyday but she never answers my phone calls."
These were her worst fears coming true- she could handle if her parents were dead but loved her any way, she could handle if they could not take care of her, what she could not handle was the feeling of un-want. Another two questions came into her mind and before she could decide if she wanted to know the answer or not, she asked them.
"Who is my mother and where is she?"
"Your mother's name is Brooke Loxar and she lives in a village not far from here called Rhode. That is all I know."
Juvia's world went dark as she fainted.
She had to go and find her mom.
