"Hello, hello? Uh, I-" You hit the mute button, silencing the recording. "Goodbye, goodbye." You said. With that annoyance gone you went back to relaxing in your chair. Minutes later you gave in as you felt the beautiful abyss of sleep taking hold.

Mike stared at the television in a haze, not bothering to focus on what was on the screen. "The runt's not usually gone this long." He mumbled to himself. There was a long silence as he slowly glanced around the room. "I thought at least Foxy'd be talking to me by now."

He fidgeted in the silence. "Usually the kid'd be making some kind of noise up there. Usually I'd find it annoying but…" He trailed off. "It's her fault they won't talk to me anyways. If she hadn't…" Once again, his sentence was cut short. "What did she do again?"

He thought for a moment. "She wasn't being too loud. Uhh…didn't break any rules, did she?" He huffed. "So what if I can't remember? Doesn't mean the kid's innocent or anything." He sunk into the couch. "Yea, I wasn't wrong, she was."

He sighed. "I-I couldn't have been wrong…right?" His question went unanswered. The silence of the house only served to make him question himself more. "T-there's not a chance, she's always...well, that is to say…" He rubbed his chin in thought.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay~!

One eye slowly cracked open as you stirred from your sleep. What was that sound? You wondered as you glanced around the room, hoping to find the source of the loud noise. You rubbed your face tiredly and shifted yourself in the chair. You didn't want to get up, but you had a feeling your boss wouldn't be happy to see you still asleep.

Before you could sit up, your hand brushed across something smooth on your lap. You looked down curiously. It was the tablet. You had forgotten about it in your morning haze. It showed a white 6 AM in bold. You smiled. What a cute way to let people know their shift was over.

You set the tablet aside before standing, arching your back as you raised your arms over your head in a stretch. "OW!" You felt your left arm twinge in pain. You instantly brought it down, gripping the throbbing area lightly.

"O-ow...what was with that?" You slowly rolled up your sleeve, wincing as you saw a large purple bruise that covered almost half of your upper arm. "I guess he might've got me in the arm." You said, rolling the sleeve back down gently.

"I don't remember being hit there though." You sighed, trying not to think about the past and your father. Putting it out of your mind, you reached down and grabbed your bag that sat beside your feet, careful to mind all of your injured and bruised parts.

You walked towards the bathroom, figuring that it would be a good idea to freshen up while you had the chance. As you emerged from the messy hallway something caught you eye, a small glint behind a pair of slightly parted purple curtains with a small white "out of order" sign sitting right in front of them.

You cocked your head curiously, stepping cautiously towards the glint. You slowly extended your uninjured arm. There was what you would swear to be a shift behind the curtains, and the glint vanished. You pulled your arm back as you stepped away from the curtains.

The shift instantly peaked your interest, but you also knew how dangerous it could be if someone else was behind there. You let out a breath and turned away. You'd talk to your boss about it later, for now, cleaning yourself before he arrived was more important.

With another sigh, you set towards the bathroom. You entered, and set your bag on the sink. You reached into your bag and pulled out a toothbrush, a pack of rags, and a hairbrush. You looked around, almost like you were expecting someone to pop up behind you.

You sighed. "No one's here (Y/N)." You said to yourself. "Besides, even if they were…who'd bother to peep on you?" With that thought you pulled your shirt off, slipping out of your bra as well.

You opened the pack of rags and covered one in soap before drenching it with water. You started to rub yourself with the towel, whipping away as much sweat and grime as possible.

"I can't clean like this all the time," you said quietly. "It's nothing like running water." You winced as you began cleaning your sore and bruised areas. "It is better than nothing though."

You walked to the stalls and sat before cleaning your legs. "What if this gets infected?" You wondered, referring to your cut leg. "Then what'll I do?" You reached into your bag and pulled out a first aid kit. You whimpered in pain as you started whipping at the wound with a disinfectant wipe.

You discarded the old bandages and wrapped a new, clean one, all the way around. You stood, wobbling slightly on your injured leg, and walked over to the sink to brush your teeth. "I wish I had some tooth paste." You said, your words muffled by your toothbrush.

"But there were things that were more important." You spat before cupping your hands to rinse. After your mouth was clean you grabbed your clothes and put them on. You picked up the brush and quickly brushed through your hair, knowing that your boss would probably arrive soon.

As you walked out of the bathroom, you felt your stomach tighten in fear. What was going to happen next? You had nowhere to go, no money until your paycheck, and no friends to speak of. You let out a nervous breath.

You were better than when you started, but you still had a long way to go. You snapped out of your thoughts as you heard a lone click echo throughout the pizzeria. The door swung open, revealing the boss himself.

"Good morning (Y/N). I trust you had a good night?" His voice was sickeningly sweet and there was a large, almost demonic, grin plastered onto his face. You fidgeted awkwardly. "Uhh…yea." You answered, not sure if it was a question or not.

"It was great. No problems at all." You gave him a small smile. He seemed taken aback by that and his grin faltered. "Really?" He asked. You nodded. "Uhh…yea! Quiet all night!"

You gave a light, slightly nervous, chuckle. He narrowed his eyes at you and looked on in what you saw as suspicion. "I-is everything alright sir?" You asked. Did he find out you were sleeping on the job? "No...It's fine. Just go home." He turned and waved his hand dismissively.

You stared at his back in question but didn't dare push the subject. For a moment you flashed back to the moving glint behind the curtains. "Uhh, sir?" He glanced at you out of the corner of his eyes. "Yes?"

Something about the man made you immediately lose your nerve and begin to fidget. "N-never mind…see you later then, boss." He nodded, never turning around, and not uttering a word. Without hesitation you quickly scurried to the door, leaving the tall man standing alone in the pizzeria.

A/N: Filler for some reason.
