I know I was missing. I'm a terrible person. But a lot happened in the last years. I won't disappear again I promise.
It's been a week when Temperance finally was well enough to go to school . Still having to wear baggy clothes and still feeling sore. The first person she met was Hodgins . He walked over and gave her a hug.
"How are you?" He asked, happy to see his friend.
"I'm better, much better. Thanks, Hodgins, for everything, and I mean everything" she gave him a little smile.
"Hey, I'll always be there for you."
They embraced again as Booth was getting at school. He came over to talk even with Katie glaring at him. "Tempe! Good to see you are back!" he gave her a kiss on the cheek.
"Thank you Booth. I really wanted to ..." she was interrupted by Katie, who ran when saw Booth giving Temperance a kiss.
"Seel! Hi, babe! What are you doing here talking to this orphan and this nerd - she looked at Brennan and Hodgins with disgusted face.
"You know what, Katie? You can be beautiful, popular, have a nice boyfriend, have everything you want, but you have no idea what it is like to live in the real world! So yes, I am an orphan, yes, my parents abandoned me, but you know what? Since then
I know how to live, and you? I bet the worst tragedy that happened in your life was a broken fingernail - everybody entering the hallway stopped to hear what Temperance was talking about. Katie opened her mouth in chock. Seeley gave an
undercover chuckle. Jack smiled cheekily.
"Seel! You will let this girl talk like that about me?" Katie pouted to Booth, trying to make him defend her.
"I'm Sorry Katie. But, unfortunately, she told no lies."
Katie was kind of dictator in school, everything that happened she knew, she ruled everything , so, with that single scene going on, just all the students laughed her, who was already red with rage. She turned and left while all students applauded
Temperance. Hodgins gave her a kiss on the cheek and whispered 'congratulations' in her ear, an act that made Booth angry. At that moment came the inspector and sent everybody to class.
Booth and Hodgins said goodbye to Temperance. She lowered her head and walked to her classroom. She had chemistry class.
When she arrived, her teacher was already in the room. It was Professor Rodrigo, he looked at her and gave a small smile of approval and said:
"It is very good to have her back, Miss Brennan. Last week we divided the class for theyear, you will be with Miss Montenegro, there in the third roll." he pointed to where the girl was, she nodded and smiled.
Temperance quickly went to her place. By the half of the class, while the teacher corrected the exercises, Angela turned to her, smiling, and said:
"Congrats! For doing what you did today. It had been years that I wanted to do that! Unfortunately I never had the courage."
"I just did what I thought was right, but I shouldn't have spoken, she's dating my friend, it wouldn't be nice get him in trouble for it."
"Seeley Booth is capable enough to get trouble on him own" said a girl in the chair behind them. Angela and Brennan turned to her. "Sorry to intrude, I'm Camille Saroyan" the brunette girl smiled.
"Angela, Montenegro."said Angela.
"Temperance Brennan" spoke Brennan, through without emotion.
"I'm sorry to ask, but didn't you date Booth for a while?" Angela asked Cam.
"Yes, it was a very fast. We became good friends. A girl of the first competing with the desired blonde of the third, of course I would lose"they laughed.
"Speaking of third year, Temperance, who is that blue eyes friend of yours?" asked Angela.
"Oh, he's my best friend, Jack Hodgins."
"But you two ..."she couldn't finish speaking because the teacher said.
"Hey, I said to do the exercise, not to open a chat room " they stopped talking and paid attention to class.
At lunch, they decided to sit together and talk some more. Still under approvers looks from the students, Temperance went to get her lunch. When she was in line, Katie walked over and pulled her into the hallway.
"Look, your ridiculous thing, if you think you can come here and humiliate me like that without consequences, you know that you are very wrong!"
"Katie, I have nothing to talk to you."
"Stay Away from Seeley, if not, I will make you go to another foster home."
"Seeley is my friend, I will not stay away from him just because you want me to. You have no right to do that to people."
"I can do whatever I want."
"So can I , so goodbye, Katie" Temperance said and then walked away.
Trying to forget about the conversation, Temperance returned to her table. Hodgins and Booth were there, chatting happily with Cam and Angela.
"Hey Temperance! Where have you been? "Asked Cam.
"I went to the bathroom." she looked at Booth and Hodgins who were quietly eating now, and sat by Jacks side.
"You Had a problem with the queen of sluts?" Asked Hodgins.
"No, Jack. Nothing really important." She paused and the asked" But hey, are you already taking tests?"
"In Fact, it starts tomorrow. Today the teachers are reviewing."
"Oh, so I have to see how your tutoring will go, Seeley. I have to finish the subject with you.- she said remembering that she was Seeleys tutor.
"Sure, why don't you come over today?" Asked Seeley.
When Temperance was about to answer she saw Katie approaching Seeley. She gave him a kiss which was unrequited and said:
"Seeley, Tonight you have to come to the training or you'll be kicked out of the team. - She spoke in her voice unbearably irritating.
"What -?!"Booth spoke very surprised.
"The Coach just told me to tell you this" and she left.
" Well Booth, I think we'll have to do it tomorrow, right?"
"Yeah" that moment the bell rang indicating it was time to go back to their class.
Everyone stood up and headed toward their classroom, Jack and Temperance were a little back when he asked:
"Temp, can you come over tonight ?" - He asked.
"What for, Jack?" She asked puzzled.
"I just miss spending time with you. We could watch a movie! The Mummy! How about it?" He asked excitedly.
"I don't know if it's a good idea ..." she mused.
"Let's have some fun, please Temperance, pretty please?"he asked.
"Okay! I will! Now let's go to class!" She gave in
Both walked into class thinking it would be nice to spend a little time together.
It was already 6:30 p.m. when Temperance rang the bell of the spectacular Hodgins manor. He even made sure to open the door to his friend. He greeted her with a kiss on the cheek.
"I'm so glad you came" he said happily.
"I'm happy you invited me. It's been so long since I've been here."
"Yeah, before it happened"
"Yeah" she said" but what about that movie movie?" She changed the subject.
"C'mon C'mon! Let's go!" He pulled the door for her to enter.
She came in, he walked into the huge house, she was seeing the pictures and remembering some things. They came into the room, put the movie on and sat on the couch.
"Do you remember how it all happened, Jack?"She asked looking down.
"Every Day I think about it. I wonder if I had not asked for them to buy dinner, they would be here. Tempe You know, I think the only good thing that happened that day was that it brought us together.
"It wasn't your fault, you couldn't know that your parents would suffer an accident. Nor did I know that my parents would abandon me" she said, touching his arm.
- Unfortunately everything happened." the film, long forgotten amid the memories of a sad childhood, was completely ignored when both sought comfort in each other's arms and consequently fell asleep thanking God for having the support. They could
not know how their lives would still change, and how things were going. The world simply stopped as they felt they were not alone in the world.

A/n: The division of years in Brazil it's different from US, we have three years of high school, so I don't understand this sophomore/junior whatever thing you guys have going on, if someone is kind enough to explain it to me I would gladly edit the chapter
