Chapter 3

A/N; Thank you so much to everyone who reviewed. I am so happy everyone likes this one. This already my 4th update because i am so excited about this story. Hope you enjoy this new chapter. Oh and its been awhile since i have seen vampire diaries so im just going off of what i remember and really i just want Klaus to show up because that's when everything kicks off. "Elijah is still alive" Lillith had been sitting on her couch, reading, when Damon called her up.

"What does he look like? Tall, dark, immaculately dressed?" Teddy smiled up at her from the floor and changed his hair to pink. She stuck her tongue out at the boy before Damon replied.

"Yeah. How did you know?" His voice was confused and Lillith almost laughed.

"Cause I ran into him and Jenna yesterday" She stood up and began to clean up the living room.

"You what?! And you didn't tell me?!" Lillith stopped when she heard the rage in his voice. Her own temper rising.

"First of all: I don't have to report to you! I'm not your slave! And second of all, i didn't even know it was really him. There are plenty of people named Elijah" She heard Damon sigh on the other side of the line.

"Fine. You're right, you don't have to tell me anything. I'm sorry." Ever since they had become close, Lillith had become one of the few people Damon would apologize too. It made her feel special knowing the usually dark and sarcastic vampire had a soft spot for her.

"Thanks Fangs"

"Anything for you, Birdy" She huffed out a laugh. Teddy smiled up at her. Damon continued to talk about different things before he hung up. He let her know to stay away from Elijah, which she was aware of. After he hung up, Lillith lifted Teddy into the air and placed him in his high stool. As she went to make a sandwich, there was a knock on the door. She opened to find Jenna and Elijah standing on her porch. The moment their eyes met he smiled kindly at her.

"Hello again Miss. Lily" She knew Damon didn't want her near him but he was so charming, it was hard to believe he was evil. She nodded to him.

"Elijah" Lillith looked at Jenna. "Whats up?" Jenna smiled when Teddy began to call for Lillith. Elijah looked very confused.

"Sorry, give me a moment." She turned and headed towards the kitchen. "You can come in!" She shouted over her shoulder and heard the door close behind them. Teddy was fussing around in his high chair. He had been expecting his food.

"Moomy!" Lillith laughed. The boy had taken to calling her Moomy. It was close to mommy and she couldn't help but also think of Moony. It broke her heart sometimes. She made sure Teddy had his glamour on so that they wouldn't see the hair change.

"Hi angel. We got some visitors" At that moment Jenna came in with Elijah right behind her. She came around to kiss Teddy on the forehead. Elijah stood there shocked.

She had a child? How would Niklaus react?

Elijah shook his head. He shouldn't think about his brother. If he had his way, Klaus would get nowhere near this town and nowhere near Lillith. He didn't deserve the woman back. Though the thought pained him, he was angry and bitter after the loss of his family. And all of that was Klaus's fault. He straightened his suit and stepped forward. Lillith eyed him suspiciously. He smiled to reassure her that he would never harm the child.

The little boy was beautiful. With light brown hair and hazel eyes, he looked like a Teddy bear in human form.

"What's his name?" Lillith smiled.

"His name is Theodore Sirius Lupin. But we call him Teddy" Elijah wanted to laugh. So he was a Teddy bear. Then the realization hit him.

"Wait, Lupin? Why does he not share your name?" It was perfectly possible that the boy had his Father's name instead of hers but is was worth asking.

"He is my godson. His parents passed and after his other guardian passed as well, i took him in. His father was Remus Lupin. He was like a father to me" The sadness in her voice pulled a string in his undead heart. Jenna rubbed Lillith's shoulder in support. He watched as she fed the boy and Jenna explained that they wanted to know if they would join them on their property seeing. Lillith agreed saying that it was much better than lounging around all day. After they were finished, they left in Elijah's black Kia Optima. They went out into the woods, little Teddy looking very excited to see all the trees and find creatures.

"Moomy look! Bird!" Lillith laughed loudly and Elijah smiled at the sound. God how he'd missed that sound.

"Yes Teddy Bear, it's a bird" The boy had pointed to a large crow which sat on one of the high branches. Jenna was explaining to him about the property and the significant history it had. All of a sudden Alaric Saltzman appeared.

"Ric? What are you doing here?" Lillith turned when she heard Jenna say Ric. She lifted Teddy into her arms and went back towards them.

"Well i heard you were showing the historical places and as a history teacher, I thought i could be of some assistance." Elijah could see right through his facade. The man was jealous. Internally, he laughed. Miss. Summers wasn't his type and the only reason he had agreed to this was to keep up appearances. And it gave him an excuse to spend time with Lily.

"Thanks but I don't think that will be necessary. We were just about to head to the grill for food" Jenna seemed quite upset with the man and Elijah smirked. Alaric didn't like that.

"Then I'll come too" Jenna rolled her arms and gestured for them all to follow. When they arrived at the grill, Damon was at a table with Andy Starr. They waved them over and Elijah grew suspicious. What were they playing at?

"Elijah! Jenna! Ooooh and Birdy!" Elijah glanced between the two as Damon got up to kiss Lillith's cheek. The protectiveness in him grew at the site. That was his sister, well sort of, and no one especially not someone as immoral as Damon Salvatore was allowed to lay hands on her. But Lily only smiled at him. "So I was wondering if you would all enjoy a dinner party at my home tonight?"

Alaric agreed immediately and Jenna said it sounded fun. Elijah turned to Lillith.

"Would you be there?" Lillith adjusted Teddy on her hip and nodded.

"Yeah sounds nice" She smiled up at him and he resonded.

"Then I'll be there"
