Finally some serious action, I'm quite happy with what I've done. I hope you'll like it. Btw I never thought writing can be THAT time consuming, heh :P

They waited for the Mountain soldiers to vanish behind the corner. Clarke wanted to move, but Lexa halted her and nodded after the footsteps completely faded away. They stared one at another for a moment, Clarke wished it'd be already all over and everybody were safely outside this damned mountain. Her face probably revealed what she was thinking because Lexa put her hand on Clarke's and whispered soothingly to the blonde girl, 'We're going to make it. Once we find Bellamy we'll contact with others and finish this once for all.'

In this moment Clarke realized that their search for Bellamy is like trying to find needle in a haystack, when there is an easier solution.

'What if we don't have to look for him.' Clarke said slowly, gaining attention of Lexa which raised her eyebrows questioningly. 'All we've got to do is to get any radio, maybe we don't need exactly this one that Bellamy has.'

'What a coincidence just a few of those toys just arrived at this level.' Lexa grinned stroking the sword attached to her hip.

Clarke rolled her eyes seeing this cocky attitude. 'Then we've got to do it fast, I'm pretty sure our guests will get reinforcements soon.'

'Let's get on with it.' The Commander pointed into the way the soldiers went. Clarke started to crawl on fours as it was too tight in the vent to actually crouch and walk. She felt her increasing heartbeat, she wanted them to pay for what they've done and now they will. They reached to the junction and went right as their enemy. Clarke started to realize where she was, long passage, doors on the right and left with regular spaces between. They were kept here in quarantine. Clarke still perfectly remembered how confused she was when she woke up here for the first time. Soldiers were already quite far away so Clarke speeded up still aware to not make noise.

'So how do we play it? There's seven of them.' Clarke whispered so quietly she thought Lexa might not hear it.

'Jump on their heads and take them by surprise. Just make some distraction and let me do the killing. And obviously I'm going first.' Lexa said and Clarke didn't have to look back to know that she was smiling right now. After a while they were right above the enemy and just waited for a right place to drop on them. There was a grille in a few meters, Clarke crawled behind it to make a space for Lexa. When she turned around, the warrior drew her weapon with a gracefulness, even in this tiny vent. Lexa kicked the metal exit and without hesitation went down with her weapon already pointed on the enemy. Clarke without much thinking did the same. Lexa already took down one of the soldiers, immersing her sword in his chest so far that it went through, while landing with a crouch. Clarke didn't do this as nicely as the grounder girl but she managed to put her dagger right into side of the nearest enemy. At the beginning they were all surprised, instinctively pointing their weapons towards Lexa as she showed up first. Clarke used this opportunity to kick one of them in his back of the leg to bring him to the floor. She grabbed his helmet and swiftly slit his throat. Victim dropped the weapon and covered the cut with both hands desperately gasping the air and trying to stop the bleeding. Blade went so deep that Clarke ignored him, certain about his death and went for the next kill. At the same time Lexa realized what was going to happen. With a quick swing she cut off the arm of a mountain man right in front of her. Immediately she was all covered in a blood gushing from just decapitated limb. The Commander grabbed the fighter and hidden right behind him as others fired their weapons, Clarke looked unsure if it's going to work out but thankfully he must had a vest on himself, stopping insane flurry of the bullets. Clare jumped to help her friend over the lying bodies and the small lake of blood that surrounded whole area by now. It was just 3 of them left, Clarke tried to achieve next kill with her little, yet deadly weapon but the other guy realized what is about to happen and hit Clarke with the crank of his rifle right into face. She stumbled backwards dropping dagger to the floor, the strike was pretty hard and for a moment everything became completely blurred. Encouraged by his successful attack he charged at the blonde and pinned her to the floor, choking her with his rifle. Clarke couldn't move, blocked by weight of his body, everything started to spin around as her brain did not get enough of the precious air. He didn't immobilize her hands, so when she tried to push him away she felt a holster with a pistol. Quickly drew the pistol and fired twice right in his stomach. She thanked him that the pistol was insecure, ironically saving her life. When she pushed him to the side and stood up, Lexa was about to execute the last foe.

'Lexa!' Clarke shouted and Lexa halted with a sword inches from the chest, 'We can question him.'

'Her.' Lexa said ripping the helmet off and forcing her to get on the knees. Clarke noticed that the girl was barely older than them. She had a long, black hair, now completely soaked with a sweat. Clarke approached them and crouched on one knee to look the girl in her eyes. She could tell that their new hostage was terrified, avoiding eye contact. Clarke even felt sorry for her, but she didn't show it at all.

'Where are my people?' Clarke said slowly pointing out every single word. But didn't get any answer. Lexa put her sword on girl's cheek pressing just strong enough to bring a drop of the blood. It must've worked as she shaked in fear.

'We don't know. Some people hidden them in their houses on 6th level.' Finally something positive, Clarke smiled. Maybe it was possible to turn the people in Mount Weather against each other.

'We don't have much time. They've probably already seen this all on the cameras and send much more firepower to us.' She informed Lexa showing at the camera in the corner, then said to the kneeling girl 'Your radio.' She slowly gave it to blonde with her trembling hand.

Lexa looked to the both sides of the passage waiting for another fight but they still had some time. 'So?' she asked Clarke impatiently.

'If I just switch it to the frequency that Raven used with Bellamy.' Clarke muttered, fighting with the device. Suddenly from all the noise she could catch somebody's voice. She never expected to be so happy to hear Raven's voice.

'Raven?!' she shouted like it'd help to make the unstable transmission better.

'Oh my god, Clarke?!' Clarke was sure that Raven just jumped out of her chair in surprise.

'Shh!' Lexa raised her hand. Clarke turned down the radio to realize what is going on. They both heard raising sound of footsteps. Then someone shouted still far away 'Don't kill the blonde. Cage needs her!' Clarke felt like an animal caught right into trap. It was too late to escape, and two of them wouldn't make it against probably larger group than they just killed. The thought rattled in her head. She didn't want to do it, but it was their best chance. Clarke took Lexa's hand and gave her the radio gently closing her fingers around it.

'Go. They won't kill me, but nothing stops them from killing you. I'll buy you some time.' The Commander's face expression changed in a blink. From a warrior ready to kill everything that moves, to a young, scared girl. Girl that the blonde seen just a few times, girl just like Clarke. She could see in those green eyes moment of hesitation, quickly considering their options. And Clarke knew she made the decision when Lexa's face hardened and she gave Clarke quick nod. The Commander without any warning killed the still kneeling girl, that Clarke almost forget about. Her body hit the floor joining the rest of already dead companions. Lexa turned around and started to run in the other way of the incoming enemy. Clarke looked at her friend for a brief moment then picked up one of the many rifles lying on the floor. And she prayed that this is right decision.
