I will upload another for you all tomorrow.
TMI BELONGS TO CASSIE CLARE
There was blood everywhere. On the walls, the floor, the cell door, the bed, it was soaked in blood. My clothes and hands were soaked. My eyed widened.I looked over to see a guard being carried out of the cell unconscious. My head throbbed and I continued to scan my surroundings still not completely in my mind yet.
There was three guards, four if you count the unconscious man. I swung my arm out which let a small knife fall out of a secret compartment. I held it out in front of me.
"Don't touch me." I held the knife forward ready to exterminate any threats.
The guard slowly approached me. "My name is Jordan Kyle, Clarissa. We're not going to hurt you. You were having a panic attack. C'mon now, let's get you out of here."
I slowly and cautiously nodded my head and went to get up when I realized the numbness in both my toes and and legs had not yet returned.
"I can't get up yet."
"That okay." Jordan turned around. He squinted in the darkness. "Sebastion , call Jonathan. Explain our... dilemma."
"Yes sir." I heard Sebastian taking on a radio of some sort. The voice was so familiar. He was the the man who called me a princess. Even scared I felt I needed to say something.
"Not much of a princess anymore, am I Sebastian Verlac?"
I saw his silhouette move to put the radio back in his pocket. "No, you're not. I apologize."
"Don't let looks deceive you, Sebastian. Pride will get you killed."
I heard three steps of footsteps rush down the steps. I held the knife tighter my knuckes were going more white by the second.
"My King, why are you and your son down here?" Jordan asked startled. Apparently seeing the King was uncommon in these situations.
"My son and I were in the room when you paged Jonathan. We were worried."
Worried? The word stuck in my head. Why was I so important in the King's mind, but he still put me in the dungeon? Suddenly it occurred to me he thought of me as a threat. He didn't know me so I couldn't blame him.
"Sorry to bother you your majesties. Do not worry about me I just needed a moment to calm down. I'll be able to stand soon." I knew it was a lie. My panic attack was bad, the worst I've ever had probably. It will be hours before I get feeling back.
"No, Clare. Lets get you upstairs." Jonathan moved towards me, but I stuck the knife out farther.
"You are the last person I want to be touched by you selfish jerk." I looked into his hollow black eyes. "I will not say it again, back away."
Jonathan did as I said with regret pulsing out of his eyes. Jace then moved towards me. Slowly he looked into my eyes for approval searching in my eyes. I slipped the knife in my jacket pocket and lifted my arms up. Jace picked me up and looked a Jordan.
"Get some food sent to her room. She needs the energy and let's face it, you're too small."
Despite everything I smiled a bit. I felt Jace moved and soon the musty scent and damp air was gone. I started to get extremely tired.
"Jaceā¦"
"Sleep, Clarissa, sleep."
"Clary. Call me Clary."
I awoke in a small room. I was in a king size bed with silk sheets. I looked around at my surroundings as I was amazing at the detail. I was in a bed with cream sheets and a canopy. Beside there was a small mahogany nightstand and on the opposite side was a matching dresser with a picture hanging over it.
I walked over to the window and looked out. I saw Jace sitting in the garden with Alexander and Sebastion. I was about to go see them when I realized I was now in a silk nightgown. I walked over to the dresses and expected dresses and skirts. However inside was beautiful shirt and just some regular jeans.
I threw on some jeans and a silky flower tank top. At the bottom of the dresser were some brand-new pumps. I almost laughed at the selection. Instead of wearing those death traps I opted for my worn out combat boots. They were rigged with knives, just in case.
I turned around and looked back in the window, watching as Jace, Sebastion, and Alexander threw a football around. In the window I saw a small reflection of a mahogany door. I cautiously walked to the other side of the room expecting a trap, but found a small bathroom. I haven't used filtered water to wash my hands in years. Let alone shower.
On the counter were a small box of cosmetics. I opened the the small box and contentents spilled everywhere. There were so many. Liquid blush, seven different types of mascara, and foundation and concealer bottle everywhere. No where in my life have I seen so many cosmetics. I grabbed a random bottle of mascara and quickly put it on my eyes.
Finally ready, I literally ran to the door eager to see the gardens. I swung the door open and hit somebody.
"By the Angel! re you alright?" I reached down to help the maid. She had dark skin and brown hair. "Come on, don't be afraid."
She looked up at me in the eyes. It's something the Lones arent supposed to do, but I couldn't care less. Finally she nodded and I set her down on the small sofa in the room.
"You can talk now, there's no one here " When she didn't speak I continued. "I used to be a Lone. You can trust me."
It was nearly I audible, but I heard her voice. "I'm Maia. I'm your personal maid."
"Well, Hello Maia. I'm Clarissa, but you can call me Clary. I want to to know I'm different, I want you to talk to me, I want us to be friends. Don't be afraid of me, I'd never hurt you."
She looked up in surprise, but then smiled and nodded eagerly. "I'm going to the garden" I began. "I'll see you later, okay?"
"Yes, yes, okay! Bye Clary!"
"Bye Maia."
I slowly walked through the halls of the castle. Taking in every hiding spot and exit in the palace. At the end of one hall I found a glass door. I opened it and found it lead to the same garden the boys were in. I opened the doors only to have two crossbows aimed at my face.
In shock I grabbed one man by his neck and held one of the knives from his weapons belt to his throat. I heard screams and cries in the background, but I never moved.
"Clarissa, step away from the guard. He wasn't going to hurt you." My brother said from behind me. I released the guard and handed him his knife hilt first. When he went to get it he deliberately cut the palm of my hand. I dropped the blood soaked knife on the ground.
"You bastard!" I kicked him in the gut and he went flying. "Do not ever do that again, or next time you won't be getting up again." I was blinded in rage and picked the knife up again. I threw it at the precise angel to get my blood to splatter on his face, but for the knife to nearly touch his face. I glided over to his pathetic figure on the ground and whispered in his ear. "Next time that will be your blood."
"I need to take a break. I'm going to leave for the day. I'll be back later."
Grabbing both daggers from Jonathan weapons belt as I walked by , I continued to the front doors when Jonathan stopped me and put a hand against my shoulder. "No, the king has ordered you stay."
I picked each finger off my shoulder one by one as my never lost his black endless eyes. "I had made a promise to Prince Jonathan; I shall return. Please move, I do not want to use force."
With that I shoved him aside and looked into the worried eyes of Jace. "I'm just going for a hunt. I'll be back for dinner, I promise. I am a lady of my word." Stuffing both daggers in my boots I threw the front doors open. A soon as I opened the doors a valet gave me a set of keys and a black Ferrari Enzo pulled up. Jumped in the car I sped out of the lot as fast as I could.
