ME NO OWN SUPERNATURAL

The Boy and Angel

Times Up

Cas had finally coaxed Dean into letting them rest at a park as they tried to find their bearings. It took even more effort than getting Dean to rest at the park to let Cas ask people where they were, but he finally managed to while making Dean sit on the bench the whole time. He felt pretty proud of himself; he had to say, he might even brag this to Sam one day if they ever managed to see him again.

Oh, that reminded him, he was going to call Sam in secret. He had managed to get a few coins from a lady when he said he needed to call someone he knew to come pick him up. Why she gave him coins, he didn't know, but he guessed it had something to do with calling people which led him into a predicament. How was he supposed to do this in the very short time limit Dean had given him? Looking back up at the clock store he saw, he had five minutes left before he had to go back to Dean or the blonde haired kid would start looking for him and dragging him along as they got even further lost.

Suddenly, Castiel's eye caught something, making him turn around to see a man in what looked to be a really small confined glass box with a telephone in hand. He slipped some coins into a slot and started to dial a number. So… is that why the lady gave him coins? Well, it didn't matter anymore since Cas finally figured out how he was going to contact Sam, which was a really good thing. He had three minutes left now.

He walked to the small box and waited till the man got out, staring at the clock store next to him.

Two minutes left…

The man finally squeezed out of the phone box, letting Cas slip in and close the door with a little difficulty after him. He fished the coins out from his pocket and stared at them for a few moments, then looked at the little slot he had seen the man put his own in, finally sliding them in. Carefully, as if he was going to break the phone, he picked it up and started to call the emergency number Dean and Sam had made him memorize if a situation came up. He was glad they did or he would be left staring at the phone in confusion, not knowing what to type in.

A few rings later, he heard Sam's voice on the phone, making Cas nearly drop it out of fright.

"Hello?"

"Sam!" Cas said in a relieved tone, eyes glancing to the clock store once more. One minute left, he needed to make this quick.

"Cas? That you?" Sam asked. "Where are you two? And more importantly why did you break Bobby's window and make a run? Is Dean there with you?"

"No, Dean is not here. He's at the park. We managed to get lost after running away and Dean refused to call you. So I am doing this in secret." Cas replied, holding the phone closer to his ear. "I don't have much time until Dean starts looking for me again, so I need you to come pick us up. I will try to keep Dean in the same place."

"Alright, where are you?" Cas looked around and spotted a street sign.

"Raven Road." he replied.

"Kay, be there soon." And Sam hung up leaving Cas with a dead line and staring at the phone in slight confusion.

Thirty seconds left.

"Dean, why not just stay here? My—uh—my legs hurt from walking too far. I need to rest to reserve my energy before we go on again." Cas said trying his best to get Dean to stay at the park long enough for Sam to get here. Dean stood defiantly in front of Cas with his arms crossed stubbornly on his chest and a light scowl on his boyish features.

"No, we stayed here long enough; it's time to get moving! Now come on Cas!" Dean ordered with a stern voice. Cas shook his head, just as stubborn as Dean at the moment. He wasn't going to budge. He was hungry and he wanted to go back to get something to eat. Sighing in annoyance, Dean grabbed Castiel's arm only for the de-aged angel to grab onto the bench with his other and wrap his foot around it. He swore on the name of God he wasn't going to move no matter what and he meant it.

"Dean, I mean it!" he shouted as Dean pulled on his arm, trying to get him to budge. He only tightened his hold on the bench and tried to wrench his arm away from the boy.

"Cas—damn it—let go!" Dean growled, digging his feet into the ground as he threw all his strength into getting Cas detached from the bench. What made this angel so dang stubborn?!

"No!" Cas shouted, shaking his head aggressively.

"Yes!" Dean shouted back at him, nodding his head just as aggressively.

"No!"

"Yes!"

"No!"

"Yes!"

"Dean?" Sam's voice cut into their heated one worded argument, making both of them stop in their tug-a-war to turn and look towards the now older Winchester brother who had his head leaning out of the Impala to stare at him. "What are you doing to Cas?" he asked as he raised an eyebrow. Dean snapped his head towards Cas, scowling at him.

"Damn you to hell Cas, damn you to hell."
