"Round 1. Fight!"
Shaggy had his character run at Winnie s character, shooting a spear as he went. Winnie seemed to be expecting this, for she had her character block, and then shoot a beam of ice from his hands. This froze Shaggy's character solid. Not pausing Winnie had her character perform an uppercut sending Shaggy's character into the air. With cool precision Winnie proceeded to juggle Shaggy's character in the air until he fell to the ground, his energy fully depleted.
"Sub Zero. Wins."
"Wow Winnie. I guess you weren't kidding about that combo."
"Thanks Shaggy. It doesn't work with or on every character, but it is a nice move when it works."
Just then there was a knock on the door. Pausing the game, Shaggy walked over and opened it to see Miss Grimwood.
"Like what s happening Miss G?"
"Sorry to interrupt your free time Mr. Rogers, but a letter has just arrived for you by special messenger."
Shaggy looked surprised at this.
"Ok Miss G, I'll come right down."
As Shaggy left the room Winnie smiled at Scooby who was just lying on the bed.
"Hay Scooby, want to try your paws at this game?"
Scooby looked up with a smile.
"I think your experience would just not me into submitting."
"So that s a yes?"
Scooby slid off the bed on to the floor, and picked up Shaggy's discarded controller.
"Let's see just what it takes" he said with a predatory gleam in his eyes that matched Winnie's.
Downstairs Shaggy smiled at the man in the main hall.
"I'm Shaggy Rogers" he said.
"Very good Mr. Rogers. Please sign here."
Shaggy pulled out a pen, and signed for the letter.
"Thank you sir. Have a nice day."
With that the messenger packed all his things into his case, and fairly flew out the doors. Shaggy laugh to himself when he saw this.
"I can understand his point of view. After all I did much the same thing when we first got here."
Shaggy walked over to one of the tables, sat down, and opened the letter. His eyes widened.
1."Mr. Norvill (Shaggy) Rogers, this letter is being sent to you because of the generous trust fund you set up here in Louisiana. Because of the kindness and care you displayed, you are being granted full ownership of the Sholick manor. There are no strings attached, and we hope you find the furnishings to your liking. If not, then feel free to change whatever you wish.

There was also an address under the names. Looking in the envelope Shaggy found a set of keys. Walking back out to the main hall, Shaggy spotted Scooby and Winnie talking to Miss Grimood.
"Excuse me Miss G?"
Miss Grimwood turned to Shaggy with a smile.
"Yes Mr. Rogers."
"Can you tell me where this address is?"
Shaggy showed her the letter. Miss Grimwood's eyebrows shot upward in surprise.
"This is just down the road, about half a mile."
"What is it Shaggy?"
"Well Scoob, it seems we have a new home to check out."
"Another one?"
Winnie looked at Scooby with fear after he said that.
"What do you mean another Scooby?"
Shaggy answered. Just before coming here, we had just left my uncles mansion that had a guy haunting it to find my uncles treasure."
Winnie reached for the letter and read it.
"Oh! I know these guys!"
"You think it's on the level Winnie" Shaggy asked.
"Let me make a phone call, and we'll know shortly."
Everyone waited while Winnie spoke on the phone. Hanging up she turned to Shaggy with a bright smile.
"It s alright" she said. "Everything is set for you to move in with as many people or ghouls as you like."
"Wait, they know about the monster world?"
"Yes. They frequently handle cases for monsters against humans, and humans against monsters. They have been friends with my family for as long as I can remember."
Ok. Miss G, why don't we all take a break from school, and go see my new house?"
"A fine idea Mr. Rogers. I'm sure the other girls would consider it a wonderful fieldtrip."
"Not if their anything like Winnie and the other girls we taught here last time" Scooby said with a laugh.
Phantasma scowled as she exited the theater. What was the world coming to she thought. It used to be people would go to scary movies to get scared. Now she had just witnessed people kissing during a slasher film. Sighing she had to admit the movies today weren't anywhere near as scary as the ones before she had entered Miss Grimwood s Finishing School for Ghouls.
"Maybe I'm just fooling myself. Thinking I have a place out here."
She had felt lost ever since leaving Miss G's school.
"Wait a minute. Why did I think of Miss Grimwood as Miss G? Could my old feelings be resurfacing?"
Phanty shrugged to herself as she continued to hover by the theater. She had been the second to graduate right after Tanis. It helped ghosts didn't age that much, and that her major was music.
As Phanty hovered there lost in thought, a figure flew overhead. In his home town of Amity Park he was a common enough sight. His Snow white hair and glowing green eyes, along with the DP symbol on his chest made him a recognizable figure. As he neared the theater a wisp of blue air escaped his mouth.
"Who's there" he called softly. Phanty revealed herself.
"Danny! I didn't think you came out this far."
Danny Phantom smiled.
"Usually I don't, but there was a sighting of a vampire bat in Amity Park, and I'm trying to find them before anything happens to the people or the vampire."
"What does this vampire look like Danny?"
"All people saw was their bat form, but they did all agree the bat was wearing purple."
"Sibella!"
"You know this vampire Phantasma?"
"Know her! She was one of my class mates at school. I wonder what has her so far from home."
"If we can find her, then we can ask her about it."
"Good point" Phanty said following Danny as he continued flying through the town.
They were just passing an alley, when they both heard a sharp scream. Without hesitation, Danny flew into the alley with Phanty hot on his tail. At the end of it they found a woman with her hands bound behind her back with three men pointing guns at her.
"Well guys, I'd say we got ourselves quite a cute one here."
The other two nodded laughing at the scared expression on the woman's face. Turning invisible, Phanty floated up to the woman to get a good look at her. It was Sibella. Phantasma nearly growled when she saw a dozen roses in her hair. That was why she couldn't turn into a bat and fly away. Phanty made her way back to Danny who was getting angrier by the second.
"That is Sibella. She is paralyzed thanks to roses in her hair."
Danny's eyes flared at that bit of news.
"I'll distract the men, you get your friend out of here."
"Right" Phanty said in a voice Danny had never heard.
Flying forward Danny turned visible and said, "Hay you guys, it s not right to molest a woman like that."
The three spun around and leveled their weapons at Danny. Not giving them the time to react Danny fired beams of ice at each gun freezing the barrels solid. Staring at Danny Phantom the three guys didn't see Phantasma appear behind them and pickup Sibella flying off with her. Danny looked over their shoulders.
"Well it seems she doesn't need my help, but you three better be more careful from now on. I'd hate to meet up with whatever got that woman out of here without even me knowing it."
The three turned back to the wall, and gaped at the spot where the young woman had been just moments before.
"Hay Phantom, you just let a vampire escape us."
Danny raised an eyebrow. "I didn't see any vampire. Just a young woman being treated like scum."
The last sentence was delivered with real venom.
"Now if you will excuse me, I am still looking for the vampire bat reported here in town."
With that Danny flew off into the night.
In a castle near Transylvania a young woman watched her screen.
"So Sibella has been rescued by Phantasma. I'll have to make sure they and Tanis never meet up with each other, or with my Shaggy."
With that the woman turned off the screen and sat down to think about her next attempt to keep Shaggy all to herself.
An: and that is chapter 4. I realized while writing this chapter that the reference I made in chapter 3 is probably all wrong, so I'll just tell you here, I tried to make a reference to "Burn out". I know next to nothing about this series, and so it was probably a really bad reference to make. I couldn't think of any other game references where a car crashed, so I'm stuck with it. It is also for that reason I had Shaggy and Winnie playing a different game when this chapter started. I am sure this reference is just as recognizable as my very first reference, but just like with chapters 1 and 2, I'll let you all think about it, before I reveal it in the next one. Oh now we have someone wanting everyone else out of the way, just so she can have Shaggy all to herself. Who is this, and what does she have instore for the ghouls? Let me know who you think it is. I already have an idea, but it can change between now and when it is revealed.
