CHAPTHER 4
Out on bail
"Derek Hale inmate number 21536907" the beacon Hills police officer called from the front of the jail to another police officer in the back the officer went and unlocked Derek's cell door the officer walked Derek to the front and handed him over to the other officer he unlocked Derek's cuffs and said
"MR Hale today is your lucky day someone paid your bail your free to go as of now you have a court hearing on the 22 of October please be sure you are there "
Derek smiled and nodded his head and said "yes sir I will be there "with that derek was out the door not knowing who paid his $35,000 bond but he didn't care all he wanted was to see the one person he couldn't stand to be away from he again smiled and thought (STILES) oh god stiles where would he get that kind of money Derek kept walking and at a fast pace and thinking the whole way I got to get to stiles he thought about calling or even texting him to let him know his bond posted and that he was out and on his way to him but then thought " no I'll wait and surprise him I'll go home shower shave put nice clothes on eat and make my way to him yeah that's what I will do just show up "
Derek walked all way the to his house which was about a 20 mile walk but he didn't care he walked through the door and headed right for the shower
Derek took a nice hot shower then shaved and got out nice clothes got dressed ordered some pizza and ate while waiting on his food to arrive he was in room sitting on his bed thinking " man is it nice to be home and be free " while sitting in his thoughts he heard a noise he jumped thinking to himself
"I hope that is not stiles "he ran out to the living room only to see no one else other then Uncle Peter oh wow what is he doing here he thought so he asked
"Peter what you are doing here "
Peter just stood there staring at his nephew as if he didn't know
"Nice way to say thanks for the bail "peter said to Derek
Derek looked at him and said "what do you mean you paid my bail but why "
Peter looked hurt and said "why wouldn't I pay your bail Derek you are my nephew do you think I would really let you sit in there and rot "
Derek walked over to his uncle and hugged him and said
"Thanks peter I will repay you some how I'll find a way "
"Don't worry about it Derek but who did you think paid your bail you goofy little boyfriend stiles where do you think he would come up with that kind of money Derek "
Derek didn't like Peter talk about stiles that way and lunged at him with red eyes and yelled
"Don't talk about stiles like that he loves me he would of found a way to get the money to get me out I trust him you on the other hand not so much"
During all the yelling the doorbell rang Derek shoved peter out of his way and pulled $20 out of his pocket and opened the door
"Order for Derek Hale your total is $19.95 sir "
Derek handed the young man a 20 dollar bill then took the food and said
"Thank you have a nice day "
Derek sat down to eat and thought god I can't wait to see stiles
Stiles sitting in his room on the computer with his friends talking about their homework assignment not even thinking of Derek at that moment until Scott brought him up
"Stiles have you heard from your LOVER boy yet today "Scott knowing it was pass time for Derek to be calling unless stiles wasn't taking any calls
Stiles looked down at the time on his computer and said out loud
" oh shit he hasn't called yet I wonder whets going on he never misses a phone call " stiles got up and said I'll be right back he ran down the stairs and into the kitchen where his dad was with that little hoe he's been seeing asking
"Hey dad has the phone rang at all today that you know of "
John looked at stiles he didn't look so good he looked like he was going to get sick and said "not that I have heard why whats wrong you look sick and worried "
Stiles just stood by the phone waiting thinking maybe someone went over on their time he will be calling soon
John sat watching his son sweating like crazy and looking pale and ready to let lose any minute he turned around to Julia and gave whispered
"Does he look sick to you or is it just me "
Julia looked over at stiles and back to john and said
"Yeah a little "
John looked back to stiles who's still waiting by the phone john says
"Stiles everything okay what's going on "
His son looked over tears filling his eyes and said
"Today is Derek's day to call and he hasn't called me he's late by 20 minutes "
John looked at the time and walked over to stiles hugged and him said clam down bud he will just give him time "
" dad de dere Derek never misses his call time why hasn't he called me I want to talk to him he only gets one free call day and he hasn't me "
" stiles bud he might be busy just give him a little while he will call if he never misses then he won't miss this one just sit down take a few minutes and clam down okay "
"FINE "stiles snaps at his dad Julia looks over to john and waves him to come here
"John why is he so upset over this Derek guy not calling I don't understand "
"It's a long story really I don't really want to talk about it in front of him it will only matter worse "
A few minutes later john walked back over to him and said "why don't you go back up and talk to your friends if he calls I will let you know bud "
Stiles eyes are red and puffy from crying he looked up at his dad and nodded his head he got up and went back to his room and got back on the computer with his friends Scott asked
"How's Derek doing stiles "
Stiles looked up at the computer and said " I don't know he hasn't called yet " still looking bad Alison asked " are you ok you don't look so good stiles "
He come back with " yeah I'm ok just a little worried about Derek that's all I'm worried something might be wrong because he never misses a free call day "
Back down stairs sat john and Julia left in wondering if stiles was going to be ok Julia asked john again
"John who is Derek and why is he so worried about him missing a call from him I just don't understand "
John looked over as to say stop asking but told anyway
"okay long story short Derek is stiles boyfriend and he was locked up because stiles got into a fight with an old friend of his and the hit stiles in front of Derek and the boy's father called the police on him and stiles misses him and they always talk on the phone and he has yet to call him today so stiles is a little upset "
Julia looked confused as to why stiles would be upset and about missing a call but be for she could say anything else there was a knock on the door john got up to answer the door only to see the one and only love of his son's life Derek hale standing on the other side john looked confused and said
"Derek what are you doing here "
Derek said" I can explain but first can I come in "
"Of course you can come in but I think be for you explain you need march your ass up my stairs and go see me son is for the dies "
Derek looked at john worried something was wrong with his mate and said

John explains "stiles was up in his room on the computer with the boys and Alison when all the sudden he come running in here yelling about the phone going off today and got very upset when I told him no he turned really pale and look like he was going to get sick I asked him what was wrong and "
John was cut off by Derek
" oh shit today is free call day I forgot all about my uncle paid my bail I went home showered and ate and came here I didn't even think about it I wanted to surprise him by just stopping in " Derek felt bad now he didn't think stiles would get upset and then asked
"John where is he at can I please see him I feel bad I didn't mean to make him worry "
John answered "he's in his room on the computer with the guys go ahead up "
"Can you call him down here I would really rather not have to talk to all the guys right now I just want to see stiles "
"Hold on a second I will go get him "
John walked up to stiles room and knocked stiles opened the door
"Yo dad what's up "
I need you downstairs for a second can you tell the boy's will call them later I need you down there ASAP okay "
Stiles nodded and walked back in his room
"Hey guys I got to go my dad needs me I'll you later "every one said their goodbyes and stiles shut his computer and texted his dad
"Be down in a second changing my clothes "
Mean while waiting on Stiles to change from his jean and t shirt to his baggy gray sweat pants and gray tank top and gray socks Derek sat waiting in the kitchen with a cup of hot coffee getting edgy to see stiles what was taking him so long Derek and john sat and talked Derek asked
" john how's he been I miss him so much I can't stand it I would ask when I called but he would say he was okay but I know better I know him better then that "
John looked at Derek and said
" really he been worried sick you weren't coming home something was going to happen to you he mopes around never wants to go anywhere or doing anything with the guys he sit by the phones he even takes his in the shower thinking he's goanna miss your call "
As john was talking he heard stiles come down the steps on the phone with some kid name Jacob and Derek heard it too but didn't say anything
" Jake I said I would call you later I have to go help my dad with something sorry I can't do it today I know I said I would come over but I can't today maybe tomorrow "
"Stiles please I need to see you today just for a few minutes that's all "
"Jake not today tomorrow I have to go I will call you later "
As stiles was rounding the Conner of the steps Derek heard the boy Jake even louder with stiles
" Stiles I'm only asking you for 10 minutes why can't you spare 10 minutes out of your day "
That when stiles let him have it
" look I said I can't today ok any other time I can but not today I don't really feel like doing all that shit today I have a lot on my mind I'll call you later "
Stiles still standing there on the landing and said "I'll be there in a second dad "
Then Derek heard the words he's use to stiles only telling him

Stiles face gets red and kissed Derek hard like he hasn't seen him in years but then stiles got mad and said
" you're an asshole I have been waiting for you to call and you were out how long have you been out Derek you couldn't even send me a text I thought something was wrong I was worried sick about you and you didn't even care "
Derek looked hurt at the hateful words stiles was using at me he grabbed stiles and said
"Babe what the hell I just got out today I didn't call because I wanted to surprise you and at first I thought you bailed me out but when I got the loft to shower to come see you peter said he did and I forgot about free call babe I do care I missed you I couldn't wait to get here and see you "
Stiles wasn't giving in to Derek though he gave Derek the cold shoulder until Derek took him in the other room and carried him to his bedroom and laid him on his bed

But stiles just laid there and didn't make a sound and wouldn't even look at Derek

The next day Derek woke up to the sound of stiles voice on the phone but acted like he was sleeping and didn't hear a thing stiles had said

At about the time all stiles was his name being called by Derek

Stiles turn around to see Derek laying a wake in his tank top and shorts stiles asked so " how much of that did you hear "
Derek looked at stiles and all he said was "ENOUGH"
Stiles knew Derek was mad at him but why he didn't understand he never did anything with the boy he told the boy he was with someone that they could be friends but h wouldn't take no for an answer
Derek rolled over on his side to face the wall away from stiles heart hurting ready to burst out of his chest maybe he was over reacting or was stiles fucking another guy while he was locked up Derek wouldn't even look at stiles when he touched him he would pull away
"Derek talk to me please "
"go away stiles I don't want to talk right now "
" DEREK what is wrong why are you acting like this please talk to me "
Derek sat up and pulled his socks on his feet and went to the bathroom and locked the door behide him so stiles couldn't follow stiles beating on the door yelling
" Derek open the fuckin door what did I do where are we going wrong please just talk to me "
Derek opened the door and said you wanna talk lets talk then who the fuck is this Jake kid you been talking to when I got here yesterday you were on the phone with him telling you love him and shit and now this morning hes wants to come over and see you misses you and he wants to fuck keeps calling you baby so you tell me where we went wrong stiles because I love you and will fight to the to keep you I missed you more then anyone and your all I think about all I want YOU ARE MY LIFE STILES but if you don't want me anymore then you tell me and I'll leave it will be hard and I will miss you but I will let you go if that makes you happy who don't you stiles me or Jake pick one "
Stiles stood there not know what to say he didn't do anything other then befriend the boy and he was wrong for that

Stiles walks over to a heated Derek and try's to love him but Derek pulled away again from stiles

Derek gets up and ready to walk out when Jake come bursting through the door after stiles but be for his lips could touch stile he was laid out in the floor by stiles

Derek walks over and picks stiles up and sit up on the computer desk kissing him like there's no tomorrow and rubbing on him like stiles like it he pulled away from stiles he looked regretful
