Hey, I would like to start this off by saying if you're reading this I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Next, I would like to say if you're reading this I hope you're having a great day and you're in a great place in your life, and if you're not then I send prayers to you and those around you and I honestly hope you make it out of whatever bad situation you're in. I know if I was able to overcome my difficulties then you will be able to as well. Now, on to the actual authors note: This chapter should silence any doubts about my version of Godlike Naruto being cliche, boring, not original, or not being able to have great development in general.

Next: I have gotten a shit ton of views and a few favorites and follows since I updated this story yesterday, but I haven't received a lot of reviews. As I'm technically still a new author I'm curious as to what that means. Does it mean this story isn't good? Or does it mean you lack interest in it? Someone review to let me know about reviews lmao. But no on a serious note please review because when you give me feedback I actually listen, if you don't like the route the story is taking then of course you should review or tell me. I'm the author but the story is for you ultimately. Anyways I'll let you get to the chapter I just ask that you pleaseeee review and to everybody who has reviewed: you all are awesome! I mean it!

Last time on Taiyogan: Solar Release

Naruto took a half of a second to process everything he just heard. He knew he would help Ino graduate early and get on his and Kakashi's team as soon as the words left Iruka's mouth. Still though he had a mission to finish so he cleared his thoughts and got ready for it mentally 'It's now a priority to talk to Ino-chan as soon as we debrief after me and tou-sans mission. After seeing how she truly feels about graduating, then sparring for a bit, I'll decide whether she's really ready to join us and I'll talk to tou-san and jiji about her situation' He thought. "Thanks for giving me this opportunity Iruka-sensei, I'll be back soon. Ja ne!"

Naruto Taiyoshied to his father's chakra signature and it took him a little bit past the village gates. He arrived in a swirl of stardust that disappeared quickly. He looked around for his tou-san and saw him leaning against a tree, somehow reading Icha Icha and the training scroll labeled one that was left for him at the same time. Kakashi looked up sensing his son's presence. "I take it everything went well with Iruka?" He asked curiously. Naruto looked at his father strangely, he knew if Kakashi wanted to know something then he would know it, quickly. He also knew that it was a game of sorts with his father, he did things a certain way to try to make Naruto always see underneath the underneath. Naruto thought about confronting him and asking him did he know that Ino wanted to join their two man squad, but figured he'd better learn how to win at these little games his dad liked to play. "Yeah just fine" he responded with a wave that was so Kakashi like it made Kakashi sweatdrop "everything ready for the mission tou-san?".

Kakashi gave Naruto some equipment to go through so he could make sure he was optimally prepared. Once Naruto was done checking that his kunai and explosive tags were fully stocked, and he had rations, water, and sleeping tents for rough conditions all sealed away, along with other items that would be beneficial to regular ninja such as blood and soldier pills. Kakashi looked at him finish and said "We're good to go Naruto-chan. The bandit camp is near the outskirts of the Land of Fire, almost hitting the border of the Land of Sound. The reason this relatively simple mission hasn't been accepted yet is because it has conditions where it has a high probability of turning into a B or even A rank due to some of the bandits having mutated abilities and rumors of missing nin hanging out in this area too. This shouldn't prove to be time consuming especially because we've done some B and a couple A ranks before, but I'm letting you know just in case the difficulty increases, don't put yourself in danger." After this he looked at Naruto sternly and seriously. Naruto looked sheepish because on recent missions he's had the tendency to just go off on his own and test his power he trained hard for by facing enemies who aren't holding back, instead of listening to Kakashi and killing enemies with stealth, speed, and surprise attacks, making it much easier.

"Hai hai hai, I get it sempai. I got lectured by you and jiji for days after our last B-rank. It's better to hide my chakra and sneak up on my enemy and stab him, than to get in a drawn out fight throwing chakra around like it's water because it's unnecessary and alerts more enemies." Naruto repeated what his elders tried to drill into his head after on their last B-rank mission Naruto was supposed to scout a group of ninja from Iwa and find out what they were doing snooping around in the Land of Fire. The Iwa nin looked to be buying scrolls from a vendor Naruto recognized from Kohona. After using his stealth and getting closer Naruto overheard them talking about forbidden jutsu and how the Tsuchikage would make them rich. Naruto wasn't going to let the Iwa nin just get away with valuable Kohona secrets. He took it upon himself to attack all 3 of them alone, not caring that two of them were chunin level in ability while one being low jonin level. Naruto sped through hand seals and the Iwa nin felt an alarming amount of chakra being molded. They looked behind them and they saw Naruto just as he thought 'Katon: Doragon' and sent the biggest dragon of fire they'd seen in all their years as ninja rushing at them. The jutsu collided and died down, but nothing remained. Naruto smirked, he knew all his training wo-he stopped that thought instantly as he ducked down to avoid a kunai that would've pierced his skull.

About 2 minutes into the fight Kakashi sat in the trees watching his son struggle against the 3 weaker yet more experienced ninja. Naruto wasn't in any danger of dying as the copy nin could kill all three of them in less time that it took to say Icha Icha, but he didn't intervene yet as this situation intrigued him. 'Throughout this whole fight Naruto has not used his Taiyogan, or any special techniques period. I wonder does he not think this is a serious situation?' Kakashi got the answer to his question and sweatdropped as Naruto started laughing and taunting the Iwa nin, seemingly having the most fun he had in his 8 year old life. Kakashi now understood what was going on and knew he had to teach Naruto about the importance of being a true shinobi: not ever playing with your food. He thought about intervening but decided to scold Naruto later as he was enjoying himself. But, now that they were on another mission that would undoubtedly be dangerous, Kakashi was wondering if he should've put more pressure on Naruto to kill that habit that was starting to form. 'Oh well I'm sure he'll be fine plus there shouldn't be anyone who I would have to take serious anyways. But after this mission I'm definitely going to make sure he knows not to play around with his enemies no matter how weak they were or seemed to be.'

Naruto smirked evilly and prepared to Taiyoshi them to where the bandit camp was supposed to be. He reached out to his tou-san but Kakashi felt the dense chakra and jumped away. "Nice try but nope! We're going on foot" he said much to Naruto's dismay, he continued by asking "plus don't you want to learn that Kage Bunshin technique you saw in scroll one?" Naruto got that excited gleam in his starry eyes he got whenever the prospect of learning jutsu was offered and Kakashi knew he had him. 'I'm not going to be a part of that damn Taiyoshi today' he thought happily, eye smiling in victory.

After about a hour and a half of hopping through trees at a pace elite level jonin would be hard pressed to keep up with, they were nearing their destination and would be there in about another ten minutes. Naruto has, every couple of seconds, been making a shadow clone to run up ahead of them and then dispel it, gaining memories of what was ahead. 'This is unbelievable, the ability to retain information that your clone gained. I see why this is in the training scroll.' Without Kakashi even telling Naruto about the training capabilities using Kage Bunshin, he had already figured it out and was planning to use it to it's full advantage. 'It's really like a cheat code. I can create 100 clones and have them do my regular training while I focus on speed, strength, and the rest of scroll 1.' Naruto was brimmed with excitement and couldn't wait to get home and train. Breaking him out of his thoughts though was two large chakra signatures invading him and his fathers personal space. Naruto ducked under a slash from what looked to be a sword made of bone and jumped back a few feet to survey his situation, he was separated from his father but knew nobody could beat Sharingan no Kakashi when he's serious so he decided to worry about himself and gauged his opponent.

He was about 5'9, skinny, pale with long white hair and two red dots on his forehead. 'This look coupled with the fact that he just tried to lop my head off with a bone katana let's me know he's from the Kaguya clan. This won't be easy ...' at that last thought, Naruto smirked under his mask and started a rapid chain of hand seals.

Meanwhile Kakashi barely leaned his face to the right to dodge his opponents kunai strike and didn't even look up from his book. "Damn kiriko you sure are freaky." This comment was followed by a few perverted giggles and it only served to enrage his opponent, who let out a animalistic roar while unleashing a huge amount of evil, twisted, violent chakra and went on a frenzy aiming to stab, slice, slash, and cut Kakashi in any way he could. The copy nin was really into his book while dodging every strike from his opponent. 'Mamaso you dirty dirty girl.' He read gleefully. Mamaso could just get so nasty. Finally after hundreds of dodged strikes his opponent began to tire and the moment he started to slow up on his strikes Kakashi looked up from his book and pulled his hitai-ate up simultaneously, revealing his sharingan. 'Sleepy' was all his opponent said in his mind as he fell to the ground. Kakashi wasted no time putting a raikiri into the creatures heart. Taking some time to actually look at his opponent it was a almost seven foot, four armed creature with curse marks all over his body that were now receding into a seal on his neck that looked eerily like his sharingan's tomoe. Upon further inspection there was a seal on his tongue too and it started to glow brightly. Thinking quickly from years of experience Kakashi sped through a short chain of hand seals and grabbed his right wrist with his left hand and grabbed the beasts tongue with his glowing right hand. The seal on the beasts tongue turned back inactive. 'Jiraiya-sama mentioned that Danzo was betraying the leaf, sending resources to Otogakure as payment for Orochimaru getting him a few young children who were stolen from their families and had powerful kekkai genkai. But if this is the outcome of Danzo and Orochimaru's collaboration, it leaves a lot to be desired. Oh well, guess I'll go check on Naruto-chan but first, luckily I could defuse Danzo's suicide seal with a gogyo fuin.' Kakashi sealed the beasts body into a scroll and did a few handseals, summoning one of his ninken. "Yo Kakashi-sama, what can I do for ya?" The dog was nothing more than a pup but it was the fastest of his summons. "Hello Hayai, I need you to deliver this scroll directly to the Hokage's office and tell him I said this is concrete proof of treason." The dog took the scroll and ate it, barking out "You got it boss!" Then it disappeared in a burst of speed. 'This mission just got way more fun for Naruto' he thought as he sighed and started back reading as he made he way to his son. 'Ooo yarizu-san...'

'Katon: Taiyō furea (Solar Flare)' Naruto thought as he finished molding the correct amount of chakra. The temptature in the forest got extremely hot from the four flame like balls that Naruto threw into the air. Whatever it was that this jutsu did the Kaguya wasn't going to just stand there and find out so he started to speed towards Naruto. But before he could take two steps Naruto waved his hand in a downward motion. 'Satta' he thought, as the four balls of white hot flame plummeted from the sky and sped towards the Kaguya slamming into him and exploding on contact. The ensuing explosion was massive and created a mushroom cloud high in the air. Naruto let out a short laugh at the destruction as he thought 'Maybe I overdid it with my new jutsu, but hey tou-san said don't play with my food'.

Kakashi was hiding in a tree close to his sochi's battle. He could only shake his head at seeing Naruto believe he decimated his opponent with that jutsu. While it was a powerful attack indeed, his opponent is a Kaguya, who are known to withstand far greater damage and still go on. 'I did come to help him finish his fight quickly so that we could finish this mission and catch the spectacle that it will surely be in the hidden leaf, but since he believes he's so powerful I'll leave him to his own devices, plus after this chapter I can finally read the new book Jiraiya-sama gifted me!' he thought with a maniacally happy expression and started reading furiously.

Naruto was about to take off into the trees to find his father when a object flew at him faster then he could react completely and cut him deeply on his left arm before implanting itself in the ground after tearing through a small tree and making it collapse. Looking to where the projectile came from Naruto was in shock as the Kaguya exited the deep crater that his jutsu created and he seemed to be completely unharmed except for his clothes which were torn and scorched.

"You seem quite powerful for one so young. We were just running border patrol but maybe instead of killing you I'll take you to Orochimaru-sama. I'm sure you would make an excellent host." The Kaguya spoke, his words oozing with so much confidence Naruto felt his insides boil with rage. Knowing that this guy worked for Orochimaru only made Naruto more inclined not to lose this battle. 'Who knows what kind of weird stuff he would do to me?' Naruto thought and shivered. Not being the one for much talking Naruto simply started another rapid chain of hand seals but before he could finish, the Kaguya seemed to disappear and suddenly Naruto felt like all the wind had been sucked from his body as he took the most powerful punch to the gut he ever felt. That wasn't it though as he was then tossed around by a impossibly fast succession of kicks and punches, the last strike being a double handed jackhammer that sent Naruto to the ground. Laying there bleeding from his mouth and feeling like a couple of bones were out of place, Naruto looked up at his strong opponent. "Are you ready to give up and come with me willingly? I would hate to accidentally kill you." The Kaguya taunted emotionlessly. This was what Naruto wanted though, for his opponent to feel like it was over.

'I'm outmatched in speed and strength so it looks like it's time to fire off jutsu after jutsu until he dies. My type of fight.' He thought as he quickly used all his energy and got up and jumped back all the while speeding through hand seals faster than most kages are able to and drawing upon more chakra than most kages are able to. 'Futon: Kamikaze' he thought as a hundred tiny, nearly invisible blades of wind shot out of Naruto's mouth and sped towards the Kaguya, being sentient. Keeping in mind he took one of Naruto's jutsu like it was nothing already he decided to stand still and see what the blond could do. Withstanding the first ten wind blades the Kaguya smirked, but seeing that number eleven actually started to cut through his bone armor he changed tactics and started to dodge the remaining eighty-eight blades in a impressive show of agility and speed. When there was around 20 blades to go Naruto smiled evilly under his mask. 'Katon: Nenshō setsudan (Burning Cut)' Naruto thought as he spit out blades of fire that combined with the wind blades making deadly explosions. This made it harder for the Kaguya to dodge as some of the explosions would hit him and cut and scorch his armor bit by bit. With his opponent being distracted by dodging the burning wind blades, Naruto started throwing kunai in a circular motion around the now partially destroyed forest that completely encircled the Kaguya. Naruto jumped into one of the nearby trees and sped through literally, lightning quick hand seals.

Feeling even his immense reserves take a slight hit from all these powerful jutsu being fired off in succession, Naruto smirked like the shinigami himself as he knew this jutsu would end this annoyingly difficult fight. Once the Kaguya was down to dodging the last 2 explosive burning blades of death, Naruto thought the name of his most lethal technique 'Raiton: Kanden shi'.

Kakashi was enjoying his Icha Icha paradise until he saw his beloved son get smacked around like he hasn't been going through rigorous training since age 5. 'The beast man was Jonin level and A-rank at best. This guy is a whole different monster. He's encroaching on S-rank. It's a wonder Naruto lasted this long although I'm sure the Kaguya isn't taking it full fledge since he would want to take him back to Orochimaru'. After seeing Naruto get pummeled into the ground though, Kakashi was prepared to intervene and end it, not willing to watch his precious Naruto-chan get too much of a beat down. Before he could even involve himself though he saw a look in Naruto's eyes, a look that only surfaced when he's done playing around. 'Finally he's going to take this fight serious. Scaring me to death letting the guy damn near kill him.' He watched proudly as his son used a clever combination of Futon: Kamikaze and Katon: Nenshō setsudan to get his opponent to focus on completely dodging the deadly blades after realizing they could penetrate his armor. Using his opponents distraction as a reprieve to set up the kunai properly for his strongest attack. 'I wish Kanden shi didn't take so long with the setting up of kunai or I would use it myself' the ex-anbu wistfully thought. It was a deadly technique after all.

All of the kunai around the Kaguya started to connect to each other, creating a ring of unstable and dangerous looking black lightning around him. The Kaguya dodged the last burning blade and looked around at the set up. He started to speak in that cocky yet emotionless tone "Impressive that you used my distraction aga-" Naruto cut him off mid sentence as his eyes glowed menacingly and he spoke out loud while closing his fist "Kaminari kara shinu." A stream of the deadly black lightning from every kunai hit the Kaguya at once frying his insides. Naruto poured more chakra into the technique as the Kaguya was still alive somehow and trying to get out of the ring of kunai. 'How can he withstand my strongest jutsu for this long?!' Naruto angrily thought as he watched helplessly as the Kaguya was about to exit the ring of kunai, therefore making his jutsu end. The Kaguya stepped out of the ring of kunai, disrupting the technique and ending it. Naruto was in utter dismay as he didn't know what else to do but use his Taiyogan to defeat this bastard. The Kaguya laughed and spoke condescendingly "You show too much promise for me to die now. You will become Orochimaru-sama's new ves-" He was interrupted again but this time for the last time as Kakashi appeared behind him, holding a raikiri through his throat with his right hand and reading his new edition in his left hand. "That, my precious and cute Naruto-chan, is why we praise stealth over drawn out battles that ultimately lead to nothing but being exploited by more of your enemies comrades." Kakashi said as he chopped the mans head off, sealed him, and eye smiled while reading. "Wow Jiraiya-sama has really outdone his self this time. All these new yet dirty characters." Naruto facepalmed at his tou-sans antics but he was only doing it to hide his smile. 'Damn, tou-san is so cool!' He secretly admired in his head.

After that ordeal the rest of the mission went according to plan. Kakashi and Naruto eradicated the bandits with ease and noticing his sons mood being sour ever since getting his ass kicked, Kakashi even let Naruto Taiyoshi them to the leaf. That cheered Naruto up a little bit even though he knew the real reason why his tou-san wanted to get back to the village quickly as he told him about the connections between Danzo and Orochimaru and how the strong foes they fought tied into it all. Naruto didn't know what real defeat tasted like until today. 'If I didn't use my bloodline I would have died ... ' he thought sadly, but at the same time the thought filled him with a excitement he couldn't explain. Almost like it was fun to fight the strong Kaguya and try out different techniques, sort of like having a live test dummy. Naruto bristled at having such dark thoughts but he couldn't help it as he was trying to make some sense of his feelings. 'Tou-san told me not to play with my food but I still couldn't bring my self to use my Taiyogan until I realized I would have to with that Kaguya. What's the point of training hard everyday if I just destroy my enemy with my eyes? I know that's what I'm supposed to do but that would defeat the purpose of fighting!' Naruto didn't know how he felt at the moment but when they got to the village gates he put all thoughts of the mission behind him. "Let's hurry and report." they both said at the same time, and laughed, taking to the rooftops and speeding toward the Hokage tower. Naruto thought about his reason for hurrying to debrief the Hokage. 'I gotta report so I can go find Ino-chan and help her out. Then I have to somehow get the scroll from tou-san so I can use shadow clones to learn everything and move on to the next scroll.' Kakashi noticed that a lot of things have been on his son's mind lately but before he could help him with what was troubling him, he and the Hokage had to deal with a person who's been a thorn in the leaf's side for far too long. 'I just hope I'm not too late. I really want to be the one to put a rasen-kiri in Danzo's face and watch as it tears his body apart molecule by molecule.' He eye smiled at the thought. With things heating up like they are both Naruto and Kakashi plan on getting stronger.

Hey guys thanks again for taking the time out of your day to read my story. As you can see, the pace has picked up and it's a couple of decent fights in this chapter but nothing too fancy. Just wait until next chapter when they debrief the Hokage. The canon is basically dead at this point but next chapter you'll see how Naruto being who he is changed the storyline so much.

I hope you guys can see and understand what I meant about Naruto being godlike but not unbeatable because he doesn't wanna use his bloodline in fights that's just the type of person he is. You'll see more and more of it in coming chapters. And another thing I think is the reason behind fics failing : CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT and PLOT DEVELOPMENT. If you read this chapter please take time to see how everything is coming together from the previous chapter. Most fics don't have a idea they just go with the flow but not me I have a plan and I have plenty of arcs it's like 3 different arcs going on right now lol. I know who I want Naruto to be and how it can take a while for him to get there. Likewise for Kakashi, Hiruzen, Jiraiya, Ino etc. also I know where I want my story to go and how to get it there. Just because I'm posting a chapter everyday doesn't mean I'm rushing it lol. I plan to have 1million words anyways.
