I'm back! After like 4 years…sorry! But anyway I'm hoping to get back onto this story and finish it for good, because I have another idea for a story but I can't start that until I finish this one! Anyways, enjoy and remember I don't own Criminal Minds, just my OCs!

It wasn't hard for Spencer to find a good lawyer to get his daughter back, but he couldn't seem to find the time to set up the appointment for court. With all the cases piling up, Spencer was unable to visit the diner regularly, making him worry about Rachel.

What if her adoptive parents decide to just giver her away?

What if they take the abuse to far? Spencer shuddered at that thought. He knows he can win the case that proves he is Rachel's father, however there was a chance that the court won't allow him to have her under his care because of his job. He was gone more than 80% of the week and that is not healthy for a child, abused or not. He'd have to prove that he was capable of taking care of his child, despite his job. Maybe Garcia can take care of her while he was on a case, Spencer thought she could come to the Bureau straight from school and stay with Garcia until he and his team came back. Spencer mulled quietly over his thoughts while reading his book. They were on the plane flying back to Quantico after a grueling case over a child abduction. He didn't notice Rossi staring at him suspiciously.

"You okay kid?" Rossi questioned. Spencer jolted from his thoughts, straightening his posture and clearing his throat.

"Uh…y-yeah. I'm fine. Just tired." Spencer replied, glancing up at Rossi. Rossi simply raised his eyebrow, as if he didn't believe Spencer at all.

"You sure? You've been staring at that page for a good 20 minutes. Usually you'd be done with the book by now. What's eating at you kid?"

Spencer cleared his throat again and shifted in his seat. He risked a glance around the plane and noticed that the whole team was looking at him as well, as if asking the same question. He took a deep breath and thought about how to inform his team about his predicament. He needed all the help he can get to win Rachel back.

"I...uh… found out something interesting a few weeks ago. And this case, kind of made me think about the negative side of this situation I'm in." Spencer said while looking around the plane at his team.

"What do you mean?" Emily asked as she leaned forward in her seat.

"A few weeks ago, I was sitting at this diner, and there was a girl who was my waitress-"

"Ooh! Finally found yourself a hot lady friend pretty boy?" Morgan jokingly asked. Emily and JJ snickered quietly, while Rossi smirked.

"N-No! She's 12 years old man!" Spencer said irritatingly, "anyways, while she was serving me, I noticed that she had some questionable bruises on her arms and she would flinch a lot whenever her parents would yell at her. I tried to reach out to her, telling her that she could call me whenever things got bad. It was while I was informing her, that I realized that she looked a bit familiar. So I had Garcia tell me about her past. She was adopted after she was left at the doors of a hospital. Her mother died and her grandmother refused to take her in. I went to the hospital and looked at the security footage of the woman who dropped off the baby and I recognized her."

"What do you mean? What does that have to do with anything? Is the woman of any significance to you?" Morgan asked, confusion in his voice.

"Yeah she is. Her daughter, Andrea, was a student with me when I was at college. One day, she…she uh.." Spencer trailed off and swallowed.

"Go on Reid." Hotch said encouragingly. It was obvious by the looks of the faces of team, that they already knew where this was going, but they wanted to hear be said out loud, as if it would solidify the fact that it happened.

"She raped me, and got pregnant" Spencer blurted out. The plane was deathly quiet, the sound of the engine running in the background.

"How old were you Reid?" Emily questioned, horror evident in her voice.

"I was 14."

"WHAT!?" Morgan exploded. Spencer looked down and nodded.

"Oh Spence…" JJ whispered, tears welling up in her eyes. Rossi, Emily, and Hotch only stared with wide eyes.

"Anyways, she got pregnant, and she came to tell me that was going to abort it. Apparently she didn't and she later gave birth to a girl, but Andrea obviously didn't make it, so her grandmother gave her away." Realization dawned upon the team's face as they started to put the pieces together.

"Then…that means…Rachel is…" Morgan stuttered out.

"Yes, Rachel is my daughter." Spencer said with finality. The team was quiet as they looked at Spencer.

"And you're planning to get her back right?" Emily questioned

"Of course! She's being abused by her adoptive parents, and I don't want that for my daughter!" Spencer exclaimed. "I know that I can take her back, since I am her biological father, I just want to put those people in jail for abusing her and I can't do that without her telling me that it is happening."

"She'll tell. She has to." Hotch started "Especially when you already established the relationship with her. Does she know that you are her father?"

"No…" Spencer said meekly "I was planning to, but I haven't found the time to with all the cases piling up. I was hoping to tell her so that it can persuade her to tell me if she is being abused or not." Hotch looked like he wanted to say something, but was interrupted by Garcia contacting them through the webcam.

"Uh sir, sorry to interrupt but I have someone waiting on the line to talk to you guys."

"Who is it Garcia?" Hotch asked.

"Uh, a Rachel Dawson, said she wanted to talk to boy genius." Garcia replied. Spencer felt dread wash over him as he thought of all the possibilities of why Rachel wold call him.

"Patch her through Garcia" Hotch ordered, while glancing at Spencer.

"Yes sir." Spencer's phone started buzzing. He took a deep breath and answered the phone, fully aware that his team was looking at him.

"Hello?"

"Spencer?" Rachel whispered out. "You have to help me"

"Rachel? What's wrong?" Spencer asked worriedly.

"My parents, they took me somewhere out in the woods. I don't know where I am" Spencer faintly heard Hotch ordering Garcia to start tracking the call, his only thought was that Rachel was in danger.

"Ok, stay calm, I'll get to you as soon as the plane lands. Can you describe the place you're in right now?"

"I can't…it's dark, I can't see anythi-" Rachel abruptly cut off.

"Rachel? Rachel! Talk to me, what's wrong?"

"They're looking for me…" Rachel whispered ominously. Spencer could hear heavy footsteps from the other side of the line and Rachel's heavy breathing.

"Rachel." A voice sang out. Rachel's voice hitched as she attempted to hold her breath.

"Rachel, I want you to stay as quiet as possible." Spencer whispered quietly, hoping to calm her down.

"Garcia, have you found the location the call is coming from?" Rossi questioned urgently.

"I'm trying, the signal is bouncing around." Garcia replied hurriedly.

"Spencer…I'm scared" Rachel whimpered.

"It's okay sweetheart. Everything is going to be okay. Just listen to my voice" Spencer assured. His heart beat fast against his chest as sweat lined his brow. The heavy footsteps faded from the line and he could hear Rachel heave a sigh of relief.

"Ok…I-I think they're go-AAAHHH!" Rachel screamed out. The team jolted as they heard Rachel scream from the phone.

"SPENCER! SPENCER HELP ME PLEASE!" Rachel screamed. Spencer's mouth felt dry as he heard his daughter struggle.

"GARCIA!" Hotch barked out.

"ALMOST THERE SIR!" Garcia yelled out urgently, keyboard sounds clicking furiously.

"Come on baby girl, you can do it!" Morgan encouraged as he placed a hand on Spencer's shoulder and squeezed.

"SPENCER! SPEN-" Rachel's voice cut off abruptly leaving the team to sit in quiet shock. Spencer glanced at the phone screen to see the phone call was ended. He ran his hand through his hair and gripped it hard.

"Tell me you got something baby girl." Morgan asked urgently.

"I got it! I got a location!" Garcia exclaimed excitedly "It's at a cabin that belongs to Mr. Dawson."

"Do you have an address?" Hotch inquired.

"I do. It's South of Port Royal, Virginia along Tidewater Trail and Highway 17 South!"
