Author's Note: I received another prompt on Tumblr, so here's another drabble! The theme is 'bakery AU', and it's more Westar/Setsuna ehehehe.

Warm Coffee

Continuity: Fresh Precure

Characters: Westar, Setsuna Higashi, Love Momozono

Summary: Sometimes it can take a bit long for people to realize their own feelings.

"He's here again~." Her friend's whispered tone was quite familiar to her by now, and Setsuna felt blood rush to her cheeks as Love nudged her lightly in the ribs. "Setsuna's biggest fan~."

"It's not like he's my fan or anything." Setsuna huffed a little, speaking in hushed tones as the customer in question approached the counter. He was the sort of person to really stand out in a crowd- the blonde man practically towered over both her and Love- but he never really seemed all that intimidating in spite of these two factors.

It was probably due to his personality.

"Another nice day isn't it~?" His voice was chipper as always, matching the bright smile on his face.

"Well, if you like the cold." Setsuna couldn't help but say.

"Ah, you're not fond of the cold, Higashi-san? I see, I didn't know." The young man, Hayato, laughed a little, clearly embarrassed at his own mistake. "Well, I think the snow is pretty today though. I guess it might cause some trouble later, though."

"Well, hopefully not too much." Setsuna observed, glancing outside. The snow was a bit pretty, even if she didn't really care for the cold that came with it. Finally really looking at Hayato, she opened her mouth a little, her eyes going wide. "Speaking of snow, you're covered in it! What happened?"

"Ah, well, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going, and I walked into a snowman. I didn't want the kids to be sad when they came back, so I rebuilt for them." He laughed, sniffling a little. In addition to the snow that still clung to his shoulders and head, his face seemed red, cheeks chapped, and his hands weren't really in better condition. With anyone else, Setsuna would question where his gloves were, or why he wasn't wearing a hat or even a scarf, but with Hayato, she really didn't need to ask.

Hayato was a good person alright, but he could be something of a space case. She had heard that he was surprisingly competent in his various part time jobs- but well, she'd believe that when she saw it.

"Walked into a... exactly how do you that?" Setsuna heaved a sigh. "Wait there for a moment." She told him, motioning to Love to watch the till. Hayato tilted his head a little, blankly blinking, watching as Setsuna quickly hurried into the kitchen. Hustling around a little, she quickly emerged a few moments afterwards, thrusting a paper cup towards him. "Here."

"What's this?" Hayato asked, taking the cup from her anyways.

"Coffee. You're cold, right?" Setsuna smiled a little at him. "Well, you're a regular customer, and you always buy a lot, so consider this a service bonus."

"Oh, I see!" Hayato grinned from ear to ear, holding the warm cup tightly in his hands. "Thank you, Higashi-san!"

Setsuna flushed red, glancing down at the register in a desperate attempt to hide it. Oh no. She couldn't help but think to herself, the full realization suddenly dawning on her.

She really had it bad after all.
