AN: This story is my own and the idea is mine so fair warning there will be alot of twists and turns in this story..
Kim's Hospital Room
Tommy was sitting close to the bed that his wife was sleeping on and he was slowly rubbing his thumb back and forth against the back of her hand. Tommy then brought Kim's hand up to his lips and kissed it
Knock, knock..
Tommy looked up and gestured for the doctor to enter the room
" Excuse me Mr. Oliver."
" Yes Ma'am Doctor..what can you tell me about my wife's condition."
The Doctor looked down at the chart, then she looked back up into the concerned eyes of her patient's husband.." At the moment we are still running our tests, but I was wondering if you could tell me when did your wife see her doctor."
" It was a week before we came here to Canada."
The Doctor wrote that down on the chart.." Okay."
" Everything was fine with my wife and the our baby was doing good, and none of the bloodwork came back negative." Tommy informed
" Alright, I'm gonna go tell the lab technician about that as well just in case they come across something, I will be right back."
Tommy thanked the doctor and he focused his attention back on his wife and he whispered openly.." I know one thing they better find out what is going on with you Kim and soon."
Down the hall
Jules was just examined and admitted for precautions.." Sam, I'm gonna be okay now."
Sam nodded his head in agreement.." But Jules I was scared when I came into the house and upstairs into the room seeing you there lying on the bed half out of it." Sam explained as he sat down.." How did it happen Jules."
" I don't know Sam, I had just got out of the bathroom and I was rethinking about what you had just told me about someone who looks just like me and I sat down on the bed and then I made a move to get up and a dizzy spell hit and the disorientation came soon after."
Sam nodded his head
" Sam tell me more about her if you can."
" She looked exactly like you Jules, I was riding pass the Arena and she was standing at this concession stand so I pulled over and got out and I just stood there."
Jules was listening intently to her husband's explanation of the mystery woman
" And then she ducked down to look at what that lady was selling and then she got back up when this guy approached her, the lady brought what she wanted and the two of them left." Sam exclaimed
Jules felt restless.." Sam I'm getting this tingly feeling like something is off."
" If this woman is your twin Jules." Sam wondered
" Then the same might've happened to her." Jules said softly.." We have to find her Sam."
Sam took Jules's hand in his and gave it a supportive squeeze
Kim's Room
Tommy was reading through the text messages from his friends after he informed them about Kim's trip to the hospital
Kim stirred.."Tommy."
Tommy quickly put his phone away.." Hey Beautiful, how are you feeling."
" Better, what did the doctor say."
" They are still running their tests and I told her that you went to your doctor before we came here." Tommy revealed
" I feel fine now..I hope they let me go."
" Well if they have to hold you then they will, I don't want nothing to happen to either one of you Kim."
" Me neither Handsome, but I really don't want to spend our honeymoon here." Kim stated with a pouted lip
Tommy smiled and shook his head.." Think positive thoughts."
Kim nodded her head as she and her husband held hands and smiled at each other.." Nothing but positive thoughts Handsome.."
" But your hungry."
Kim patted her stomach.." Not just me Honey."
Tommy placed his hand on top of hers and squeezed hers gently..." I will be right back."
" Okay." Kim replied as she closed her eyes
Tommy quietly closed the door behind him and he walked down the hall and he stopped at the nurse's desk.." Excuse me, which floor is the Cafeteria located on."
" It's on the third floor."
" Thank you." Tommy said as he turned away and he walked down the hall to the elevators. Tommy stopped in front of the elevators and pushed the up button
When the elevator cart came to the floor and the doors opened, Tommy stepped to the side to let a group of officers off first, Tommy studied them for a few seconds then he walked in and pressed the third floor button
Jules's Room
Sam was sleeping in the recliner close to the bed, while Jules was sitting up in bed reading a magazine
knock, knock
" Come on in guys." Jules gestured
" Hey Jules." Team One chorused
" Hey guys, what's up."
" Just stopping in to check up on you." Greg informed
" Winnie told me to tell you "Hi..and tell Jules I said to get better".. for me.." Spike stated as he tried to imitate Winnie's voice
Jules just shook her head at her 'Family'.." Well you can tell her that we are doing good and tell I said thank you as well."
Spike nodded his head
Ed walked around the bed and leaned behind the chair that his teammate was sleeping in.." I see that someone is sleeping on the job."
" No, I told him to catch a few winks because he kept staring at the IV Bag and tapping his fingers which was starting to get on my nerves." Jules explained
Team One all shook their heads and they all made themselves comfortable
" So did the Doctor find out what had caused you to feel disoriented and dizzy." Rafe asks
" They haven't found nothing." Jules answered
" Then they are just trying to keep you in here for observation." Wordy implied
Jules nodded her head yes.." Yeah, ever since we got here I haven't felt dizzy or disoriented at all."
Team One heard the tone of voice of their comrade fell and they sensed that something else was going on. Greg stepped forward.." Jules what is going on."
" Before this whole ordeal started I had sent Sam out to run some errands for me and while he was driving down the street he claimed to have seen me standing in front of the Hockey Arena, so he stopped the car and got out of it." Jules revealed as she took a deep breath then her eyes looked at each of her teammates.." He said that she looked just like me and then this guy came up to her and they left."
Ed scrunched up his face.." I don't like the sound of this guys."
" A carbon copy of someone with Jules's face." Spike injected
" Me neither, and I told Sam that I was the only girl in my family."
Spike went through his everything that the team has went through so far.." Jules do you think someone might've had plastic surgery."
" No..I don't know Spike..it's confusing to say the least."
" I'll say." Ed agreed
" That is why whomever she is has to be found." Greg stated
" Well she might be a tourist, so I will start checking into the Airport systems." Spike pointed out
"Good, because this little tingly bit that I felt earlier has never happened to me before."
" And if Jules has felt this, then possibly this other 'subject' has felt the same side effects as well." Rafe exclaimed
" Then she might be in this hospital." Wordy said
Jules looked out the window.." And if she is then what." Jules wondered
Team one all shared contemplative looks between each other
" Guys let's just check the airport security cameras first before we make any type of moves first." Greg proposed
" Yes sir boss." Spike applied
" If there is a girl wondering around Canada who looks like me, then we have alot to look into." Jules explained and her Team One members agreed with her
Tommy walked down the hall and pass the room that held SRU Team on his way back to his wife
" Excuse me sir." the receptionist called out to him
Tommy stopped in place.." Yes ma'am
" While you was out, the Doctor gave me the okay to let your wife be discharged."
" Did you find out what is wrong."
" No sir we didn't, her lab work is normal, both her and the baby are doing well but we have your number and the hotel number on file just in case."
Tommy nodded his head and he continued on down the hall towards Kim's room
Kim had gotten changed back into her regular clothes and had just sat back down on the bed when there was a knock on door and then it was opened.." Hey Honey, are you ready to get out of here."
" Not more than you I see."
Kim nodded her head with a smile .." I feel much better, for some odd reason it seems like I'm not sure that ever felt lightheaded."
" Well we are gonna keep an eye on that." Tommy insisted as he helped Kim off the bed
" Mmmmm..whatever you got in that bag sure does smell good." Kim stated
" It does, I haven't noticed it."
Kim laughed softly as she smacked him on the shoulder.." You do know that you are too good to me Tommy."
Tommy leaned down and kissed his wife on the lips.." Come on beautiful let's not spend another minute in here unless necessary."
" I couldn't agree with you more on that." Kim exclaimed as she doubled checked to make sure she had all of her things
Tommy did the same and when they both deemed that everything was not being left behind the two of them left out of the room
Jules's Room
" So when should we find out the sex of the baby."
" My appointment is scheduled for next month and then me and Sam will know what we are having and then we will tell you."
All of the men glanced at each other
" If you guys are even thinking about betting on the sex of my baby, I will never tell the truth."
" Then we will wait until the birth of baby Braddock."
" I guess you will have to wait then." Jules stated stubbornly then she even looked at her husband.." And I might even kick you out of the room."
Sam started to offer his two cents
" Sam don't even try it..and if you continue to do so this will be only baby you will have."
" Damn Jules, I get it." Sam said as he held out his hands up in surrender
Team One chuckled at their teammates antics
Sam turned his head towards the door.." That's them."
Everyone turned their heads towards the door just in time to catch a glimpse of Tommy and Kim passing by the room
Greg headed towards the door and he opened it and stepped into the hallway
Tommy and Kim waited by the elevators with their arms wrapped around each other never noticing the guy observing them from a few feet away
Greg watched them until they had stepped inside the cart and the doors closed, then he went back down the hall
Team One all watched as their boss returned to the room
" Jules she looks just like you."
Jules sighed as gripped onto her husband's hand.." A Pandora's box is about to open and there will be one hell of a fallout."
All of the guys nodded in agreement
Knock, Knock
" Ms Braddock you are free to go, for we have found nothing wrong with your lab work." Jules's nurse informed
" Thank you Mandy."
Mandy nodded her head as came close to her patient and carefully removed the IV line from Jules's hand
The SRU Team stepped in the hall to allow Jules her time to get changed, and within ten minutes Jules was leaving the hospital with her husband and family
